  • I totally enjoyed this conversation/interview with Tamron Hall. I was listening while cooking/chopping-food prep and had to stop and sit down to listen and watch intently and be fully engaged! The topics of discussion were captivating, especially…”well, you don’t understand” - that part! I appreciated Tamron sharing her personal stories. This entire conversation was so genuine with real life occurrences, like Moses in the background, which I barely heard. Thank you for keeping it real by not editing it out - this is life, stuff happens.

  • I would recommend writing it down and also asking for a summary of the meeting notes to be emailed to you. Aa well as writing down who was present in the room. In many work environments you can also ask for another third party (neutral) person you trust to be present in your meetings if it’s a one on one situation that makes you feel uncomfortable. Keep everything that is sent to you in writing make sure to print it out.

  • Great conversation! I was told from another black woman that wearing an afro was unprofessional. I had started wearing my hair in an afro in 2001, braids once in awhile. Was never informed from any of my employers that I didn't look professional. Taking off a blazer in the heat 🥵 of Texas, AND you still had 2 layers?!! Shut up, producer in my👂🏾!!!

    • I was never confronted with sexual harassment in Corporate America I was always told by men white men young men that you look very nice.. I would say thank you without a smile so they always took me very seriously and we must remember a man is a man and a woman is an attraction to him so we must remember when we respect ourselves we gain respect. Something big mama taught me when I was a small girl. A woman's movement

  • Go to HR, in the right situation but if not, try to get proof, then leave. Send the info to the newspaper either anonymously or from yourself. Or send it to the president of the company. Horrible to have to work with a predator.
