I don't think shaming such people like Usher's mom is helpful. It only makes older victims like Usher more determined to keep the secret of their abuse hidden. And, we don't know what conversations Usher has had with his mother. As the parent of a victim, she owes nothing to the public. I just don't see value in shaming a nearly 70 woman.
