Big shoutout to Zach for never shying away from trying even though we know that he lives with a shitload of chronic pain.
I cringed when he got the hula hoop for this very reason.
The props made sense for each of the other guys so he got the short end of the stick there. What is the fifth apparatus? Was it worse for Zach?
@@millsrome the fifth is a rope which is only used in groups. In individual competitions there are only four, so Zach had to get the hoop, since all other choices made sense.
@@jealousharibo Ah! Ok, thank you and yes, sadly he had no other choice :/
wait what’s wrong with zach??
I love how the girls probably took the guys abilities/hobbies into consideration with the items. Ned with the ball and he plays soccer, Keith is a juggler, Eugene is a dancer and Zack..well to quote Eugene’s mom “he is there” lol but probably something that wouldn’t hurt him if he dropped it on himself with his chronic pain
Dropping a hoop on yourself HURTS especially if it hits your nose, arm or leg
@@Emily-ud2kd less so than the apparatus Keith was given for example. No disrespect to the hoop, I’m sure it’s one of the most difficult to maneuver with!

I've never really watched the Try Guys, but I am SO impressed by how they aren't afraid to act 'feminine' and completely throw masculinity out the window. This was such a great video overall, but what made it for me was them putting on leotards and embracing the elegance of the sport. Very refreshing to see!
Watch the try guys and you'll alwayas get that. That toxic masculinity is something they never have shown, and as time has passes they have grown more comfortable with themselves. And their first video was trying women underware so... They are always up to anything, ANITHING and many videos are of them in some sort of nudity sometimes, so the fear went away long time ago xD
Well they do have low testosterone levels which explains the femininity.
@@marvyncruz2775 lol how’d you know. are you their doctor? have you processed their test results?
@@emmalee8548 i don't need to be a doctor to know that lol. They actually made a video about it a couple of years ago and they had to get tested and the results show they all got low T levels.😂
@@marvyncruz2775 most males nowadays when they get tested come up low for testosterone. Part of me has to wonder if their ranges are a little off to try and sell more hormone products.
Years of memes saying "the Olympics need to have a comparison group of regular people" and they finally listened
LMAO yes
I need to see the differences in regular swimmer and runner and olympians
Korean Pop scene actually do this before like once a year called Idol Star Olympics. And their rhythmic gymnastics is always the one who dance well and can do acrobatic move. And few years back the woman archery broke a lot of cameras because they hit the bullseye. And from the celebrity perspective, because there’s so many of them at one place they try to approach opposite gender to date. And from the fans attending the live game, they get to see their bias doing mundanes stuff because they’re not competing. 😂😂😂
Yes! That was the first that came to my head when I saw this.
I wouldn’t call the people “regular”. Haha
I have to admit: Try Guys and Olympics is not a crossover I saw coming, but I’m here for it
I totally agree.
I was like: what are the Try Guys doing in my weird fascination for gymnastics ?
Their trying to reach the youths

They already did the Greek olymoics

The fact that both are identical and no one has any idea who was training them 😂 Not even us .

i'm guessing the girls knew that ned had played soccer when they gave him the ball and that keith knew how to juggle when they gave him the clubs.
And that Eugene is a great dancer and would LOVE to have a rainbow ribbon
it's super neat! looks like they did their research hehe
I think the guys actually chose their own apparatus lol

Having the Try Guys on really helps to put into perspective just how IMPRESSIVE these pros are! Really incredible skill, contrasted with big time beginners haha. And it was so nice to see everyone just having fun together! They have surprisingly organic on-camera chemistry with the athletes. Overall, just a fun medium for getting to know the sport :)

You guys did great, thanks for sharing your sport with us!
I love that the girls are so patient, humble and very complimenting.
Each apparatus seems like they were selected for each of the try guys’s actual strengths- Ned plays soccer, Keith juggles, Eugene is a dancer. And then there’s Zach…
Who gets the lightest, most childlike apparatus. Perfectly on brand!
Zach is the cutest adult-child ever. So...yup, accurate to him.

this is the WILDEST crossover and i am in LOVE. i had to do a double take on the vid cuz it looked like an Olympic and Try Guys vid with the thumbnail styling and it's both 🤯
Being chronically ill myself, there is something distinctly comforting and inspiring about watching Zach try and do so well ❤️
Agreed!
I'm a rhythmic gymnast and I'm actually impressed by how fast Eugene learned those elements with the ribbon
Indeed. I follow rhytmics gymnastic and he was indeed the best, especially given the most difficult of apparatus he did amazing.
I remember for Nutcracker one year they gave me and my duo partner ribbons. So glad we learned and trained it without pointe shoes at first! We got so wrapped up in them for the first few weeks 😂
He has years of dancing experience and also natural talent, he absolutely rocks any endeavors of this kind.
He picks up pretty much everything quickly. He's that guy.
Ned jokingly called it their sorting ceremony, but actually I do feel like they all got their best fit lol
It makes my heart happy to see the Try Guys grow from barely starting out on Buzzfeed to doing a partnership with the Olympics. So proud of them
I love how positive these athletes are! they're really welcoming 4 idiots to their sport, very wholesome
Once again, Ned creates something that is a fan favorite but breaks all technical rules 👏👏
Keith yelling “my finale” will Eugene drops in pain after getting hit with the club is such a mood
THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR!!! Have normal people attempt the Olympic sports so we can fully appreciate the mastery of the pros. LOVE this
Yyyeeesssss! I would love to see a "normal" person in every event for comparison. Especially since I binge watch Olympics in my recliner eating Doritos 😂
Ned: genuinely shocked and disappointed he was in fourth Zack: literally just happy to be there, standing on a thing Eugene: proud of his score and proud of his best friend Keith: trying to keep in his excitement, needs to put himself down to bring himself up
The try guys demonstrating the violations was GOLD 🙌🏻
I'm actually hoping that they do the same for Beijing 2022 and figure skating

If anyone is into learning more about RG as an American I can say the Russian team is the best. this is such an impressive collab like bro the OLYMPICS?? go try guys go
What I love about the athlete teachers is that, during the apparatus section, they teach the guys tricks they can do based off of how they're handling the items already. Eugene gets very graceful spinny maneuvers, Zach gets the fun skippy motions, and Ned and Keith get more tactical tosses. They're really encouraging and fun and helping the guys be less intimidated by it.
"WATCH OUT EUGENE!" This is the best crossover. The Olympians were delightful and patient. And I'm living for Eugene's glitter beard.
Please do a Winter Olympics one it’d be phenomenal.
please imagine them pair figure skating 😭
Orion dawg I can’t wait to see Zach and Keith absolutely splat on the floor lmaooo
CURLING omg can you imagine
Rhythmics is a whole new level of crazy. The amount of coordination needed is insane. And the amount needed in Team events is even all that more difficult.
I screamed when I saw the Try Guys collaborating with the Olympics. Its such a cool way to show us regular people the ins and outs of the sport
I love how positive the two women are! They looked genuinely happy when the guys managed to do something and they obviously were playing to their strengths and weaknesses and the differing skill levels. Eugene having a background in dance and martial arts, Ned having a background in soccer, giving Zach a large item thats not quite as finely detailed as like the ball for his chronic pain.
How many more sports are you guys doing like this? This is so much fun.
Based off the preview they did a few weeks ago. It seemed they were trying 5 or 6 different sports total.
There's 8 videos total from this collab! 4 are for premium KZhead accounts only, but the other four are viewable for free. All 8 are up on the Olympics channel already.
I hope they continue until the winter games too
The most underrated sport in the olympics.
I disagree. It's not a well known sport in the United States and gets little to no TV airing time here. That's not the case in other places.
@@GenXsinglefree I’m not from the US. The vast majority of people, except maybe for ex-soviet countries, have never heard of this sport. There are a lot of sports that are super popular in some places and virtually unknown elsewhere. Ski jumping for example. Super popular in Poland, for example. Most people don’t know it even exist in most other countries.
@@morningstar8187 There are so many sports that only get air time during the Olympic games. Also, many sports are seasonal, some are expensive and then others have the danger factor. That's why you can really call a particular sport the most underrated. It's all about what's accessible.
I've heard people make fun of it but if you watch it, you can see it truly is difficult and looks amazing when done well.
Yeah. This and synchronised swimming.
Ok but the end of Eugene’s routine???? That did not get nearly enough hype. A true performer through and through💜
Because it was straight out overrated.
I love how encouraging they were when the guys were doing things the “YESS & Beautiful” ☺️ I wish more coaches was like this especially for beginners

I’ve got to say my favorite part of this video is watching Eugene frolicking with his ribbon in the background while unknowingly stumbling into Keith’s batons 10:24

Try guys should do this for every sport to show the average person vs the pros
Omg!!! I went to high school with the Rokhman twins!!! So glad to see they're doing well! They were always super nice and super smart (both were in AP classes all while balancing sports). A little surreal to see them being so famous tho

I’m so excited about this! It’s like their original content of 4 guys try something new. And all 4 guys are there!!!
Love the cross over, hate the lack of branding, promotion, release scheduling. So, traditional media failing popular media again.
I agree completely, they really released four videos at the same time and barely advertised them. The only reason I knew about it was because it came on my suggested.
My thoughts exactly... I was sighing at the simultaneous release and meh thumbnails when I caught myself in the act...
Maybe they want to preserve their Brand and not get labeled as "Sell Outs"? It was my first reaction....Like, woah, really jumping onto THAT bandwagon? Not that they shouldn't. They should make money. Just my reaction. Tis' my thoughts.
As it's on the Olympics channel, the Second Try team probably didn't have much say in how the Olympic marketing team promoted and released the content, unfortunately. I've been seeing info about this series from the Try Guys social channels for about a month, though. You'd think a marketing team for a huge organization like the Olympics would be better equipped to promote their content. I've seen more offical Olympics promotion about the network TV version of this beginners and pros concept with the Jonas Brothers than the Try Guys series.
@@bluefox99887 Yeah, I don't blame the Try Guys at all bc I'm pretty sure it was out of their hands. It's just disappointing bc this is one of the coolest things they've ever done

Just a note that they got something wrong. The current code of points for rhythmic gymnastics has no maximum total difficulty value meaning it can go above ten which all of this year's Olympic hopefuls in RG have :>
Isn’t this video produced by the Olympics tho? Is it possible rules have changed?
@@Mikibear222 Code of Points are released at the start of every Olympic cycle if I remember correctly. So the new CoP will take effect after Tokyo
It's quite interesting that the Olympic(!) Channel doesn't explain judging correctly.
@@Mikibear222 @M R This is the current code of points they're using though. The code changes every 4 years and the one they mentioned was from the previous code of points.
