  • I test drove this car yesterday. I’m coming from a BMW M135i. After test driving the Model Y, which I disliked due to the sloppy body roll, I hoped into the Model 3 and was sold. The only issue is I need AWD for a long muddy dirt road drive every 6-8 weeks so not sure how that will handle especially understeer. I’ll have to try to get access to a long range to check that out. Thanks for the review.

  • At least with the redesigned taillights they have incorporated a proper orange indicator. The old Model 3 (and Y) taillights are so obviously designed for the North American market and had to have the orange indicators shoehorned in. It looks better than my 2022 Model 3 but isn’t enough of an upgrade for me, particularly with what has been removed (to save manufacturing cost), for me to shell out the difference.

  • Hi Matt, I agree that the Highland update is a major improvement however I just rewatched your 2021 review of the M3LR and you loved the suspension, performance and quality back then. In this review I think you’re comparing it to the MY and not the M3. I have a M3LR 2021 and agree that it is a bit hard and would prefer to Highland however it’s not as bad as most motor journalists are portraying in my opinion.
