  • I don’t know how to describe this such a beautiful car. This engine 5.5L V8, this sound, like a roar of a lion… Speechless! So sad that Mercedes went from 5.5L to 2.0L vacuum cleaners. This era is gone forever. 😢

    • ​@@Chris-hw4mq The US used Dieselgate to put pressure on the EU to build smaller and more unreliable engines while the americans can still build V8s and big diesels. That was the plan and it worked.

    • @@PureDrivingExperience for me personally I think the added overrun from the turbos along with the big woooshing noises did it for me. Although to be fair I drive a naturally aspirated VR6 and I fucking love the sound without any turbo or overrun 😂. To be fair the more I think about it, the more I realise I’d happily take either. As long as it’s not the new 4cyl hybrid 😂

  • Had one for 4 years, just sold it Xmas 2022. My god, do I miss that sound. By far my best ever car, and the most reliable. The cold starts were epic. My neighbours loved the noise but loathed it at 7am!

    • @@ilovemusty Now have a 2011 R230 SL63. Only 36k miles. 6.2l fully AMG built M156 engine. The noise is back!

    • That is the stock wheel on the W212 E63 AMG. Same as mine and all otherz. You could get them in different materials when you ordered your car from factory.

    • 2015 as its the last model year for this generation. But either year will be good. Id stick to 2014 or 2015 if you can. And make sure yoy u plug that Oil Pump Solenoid, makes the car so much better 👍🏻

  • its increadible how well this car aged... with the matte finish, the perfect LED lights front and back i would prefer it still over the current generation in terms of optics and looks... only downside of the car is maybe the slighly square rear and the outdated interieur.... i think the interieur of the current e-klass looks outstanding... but this is also over now, look at the new interieur of the new e-class, it looks like just one big computer...

    • I have to disagree, the rear of this car is beautiful, the lights are just amazing. It is the best looking E Class rear to date. and the interior is very nicely done. Its very classy.
