4th Gen Prelude Review. My 1996 Honda Prelude SI

2024 ж. 14 Мам.

After about a year of searching, I finally found a clean 4th gen Honda Prelude. This is my new 1996 Honda Prelude SI. It is super clean and ready for as my new daily driver. While I wish it were the vtec model, that can easily be changed as finding these chassis in good shape is becoming near impossible. This is my review and the first video of many as this project unfolds. Thanks for watching! Let me know what you think in the comments below and don’t forget to check out my facebook and subscribe to the channel.

  • I had a ‘92 auto here in the UK. Later 5th gen 2.2 vtech with awesome 4 wheel steering. Both stunning. I’d suggest getting plastic headlamp protectors for it. Mine were glass units and quite vulnerable I thought. The protectors did their job. I’m quite envious to be honest but I’ve 3 Hondas currently. One is 30 years old, extremely rare and turns heads whenever I take it out. Not a money pit at all too. It was JDM, low volume production and imported. Honda UK knew I had it and a couple of years ago it needed an engine rebuild and they contacted Honda Japan who sent my mechanic a massive document about it. It started first time after the rebuild! I’d recommend getting the protectors.

  • What are you going to have to do to make it from an H23 to an H22 swap because i want to do the same thing... thank you.

    @funckyjustin@funckyjustin3 жыл бұрын
    • It’s fairly simple! All the mounts are the same but for doing the job right should be replaced at time of swap. Preventative maintenances always good. Secondly you will definitely need wire harness and computer from h22 as both different due to vtec. Other than that it’s a direct swap. One thing to note if money allows very good to swap lsd transmission in as it will make it much for stout for power and better for traction and handling. A good clutch with oem bearings is always a good idea when swapping.
