In this tutorial I'll show you how to create a laser beam and etch a logo into a piece of metal using Cinema 4D. I will then show you how to export it and then import the composition data into Adobe After Effects in order to add realistic sparks and smoke.
First of all, sorry my voice is so boring haha. I created this tutorial in February of 2012, but wanted to have it on KZhead for anyone interested. More 3D animation is coming! It just takes a long time to create, so stay tuned!

Great tutorial, I'm new to 3D but i'm good with Ps and Ai little tips, you can export your path from illustrator but save it as version 8 instead of going back and forth between Ai and Ps I'm also guessing the size of the gradient is correlated to the number of vertices
