This was another very enjoyable reaction. Dimash wrote "Unforgettable Day" himself when he was still a teenager. This was at the annual Gakku TV open-air concert, with approximately 150,000 fans in attendance. Gakku TV is the first music channel in Kazakhstan that exclusively airs content produced in Kazakhstan, promoting Kazakh music, culture, and patriotism. During this 2017 live performance, Dimash made sure to erase any doubt that this was anything other than a true live performance by moving his mic quickly from side to side as he sang. Dimash set a record for the highest note ever sung in a live concert when he produced his now-famous D8. He not only hit a D8 but also did a glissando and held it for several seconds, even adding vibrato to it. It was a spontaneous attempt because he missed the slightly lower note he had initially aimed for immediately prior when he was shaking the mic from side to side. Although, there are still the occasional trolls who claim that the note was pre-recorded or that it was an electronic glitch. Dimash is truly on another level. His voice seems limitless, and no matter how many performances of his you watch, he will always surprise you with something new. The Guinness Book of Records lists the highest vocal note ever produced by a male as an F8 (F#8, 5989 Hz), achieved by Amirhossein Molaei (Iran) in Tehran, Iran, on 31 July 2019. That was done in a studio, where the singer was just trying to hit the note and had been working on his whistle register for years to prepare for this attempt. He held the note briefly after a proper warm-up and several attempts.

When he was younger, in concerts, he would do E6, F7++, and this was a miss on the F...so he just raised the bar a bit to a slide into D8. But typically, he does not talk about it, as it's not showing off, it is just serving the moment.

Dimash said when he attempted to do another note of him moving the mic back and forth, that his voice failed him so he had to find another note and his voice landed on the D8. Off the treble end of the piano keyboard but computers have settled the issue that it was a D8.

There is a version, that Dimash failed to deliver his normal whistle tone (when he shakes mic without sound), so he tried to reabilitate himself, and D8 appeared ).
You know when sh(*=(* gonna go down when he takes out his ear monitor and usually gets to his knees. I believe he does this not only because the monitor feedback is ear, but also to ground himself to belt out the notes that he does. It’s truly amazing to watch, he’s such an amazing human being. @@szolanek The crowd was officially reported as 150,000. Don't know where you got 130,000 from. I've never seen or heard that anywhere. There is a discrepancy about his age when he composed this. Dimash said in an interview that he was 17. Other sources say 19. Perhaps he composed the music when he was 17 but it took a while for him to get Oral Baisengir to write the lyrics, then to finalize the song. IDK. Just a theory to explain the discrepancy.

I've heard DQ does a lot of underwater swimming training holding his breath for a very long time for his singing breath control.
For me it's cool for 1min (3.45 to 4.45)... And this song all about that D8. But if I'm correct, this song he write by himself 14y old. Dimash used to hit an F7 here, but he doesn't use whistle too much anymore. So basically he had a slight cold, and if you noticed, when he tried to hit the whistle the first time, nothing came out. But he regrouped tried again with a little more pressure and then a C8 and D8 popped out. To date that's his highest note. If you watch other professional singers/musicians react to this song they are all in shock too.
