Aww Selmar in from the cold and after a hard day's work, has a nice hot meal saved for him. He's well cared for.
Qaaaaa😮
Ok I love goat man, he seems so fun, interesting and friendly
Adorable! Is he single? Perhaps a nice date for Stephanie? Or one of the other lovely ladies? ;-)
Ah yes those charming Frenchmen of a certain age ! You’ve got to love them, I have met many in the years I’ve lived here. Sadly distanced from them in the confinement.😎🇫🇷❤️
My favourite game is 'guess who's behind the camera', by the little chuckles you get every now and then :)
I love the way people at Lalande gathered when delicious food and a handsome man appeared. 😘
So glad Guillem came to cook at the chateau
Goat man is a lovely addition to Sunday’s vlogs.
Selmar looks very handsome with his hair tied back.
It's so refreshing and pleasant to see french guests in your program. The French chef is brilliant, hope to see him more often!!
Ummm....HE needs to be on this channel a LOT more!
Unfortunately he’s very busy with the farm 😥
I notice people come at first somewhat reserved but then the magic of Stephanie and balance take over and they relax and have fun!!
Oh, the Sexy cheese guy is on!! Fantastic recipes. I am not sure I can find these fantastic cheese varieties in Sweden :(
Love the new hair colour Stephanie makes you look much younger.
Hahahaha! The way Selmar's eyes genuinely lit up at the first bite was awesome.
Such an interesting and charming man. I was happy to see he came to visit you Stephanie. It’s fortuitous that you can feature his products and skills. A win/win and we win too
Thank you so much for introducing 'Escape to Rural France' ... love watching all the straight-forward productivity and guidance - which Selmar and Dan obviously deliver here too ... and can't wait to hear that Isabelle and Percy have had a beautiful Winter in the sun, and that they'll be returning in the Spring...
Stephanie, your hair looks great! Annalise did an amazing job!
This was OUTSTANDING. Have him back!!! Great afternoon of cooking!
He does farm to table, then cooks, he brings his own Rum, witty, cleaver with his whisking skills, and he looks very handsome standing next to Stephanie...it all looks good from here😊
Is there anythng not to like about him....................
He's married I think.

I would venture to say that I saw sparks flying when Stephanie went to the goat farm and he is smitten with Stephanie. I agree that they would be an absolutely amazing duo.
Merci Guillem for these amazing comfort goat cheese recipes!!! Nice to see Dana at the Chateau too.
Absolutely loved Marie's floral arrangements with the clematis and roses, etc. So pretty. We don't seem to use clematis enough in arrangements but so pretty.
Dana looks fantastic. Her love and passion for cooking really shines through.
We went to his restaurant after your last Vlog there and it was AMAZING! So simple, but delicious.
Howdy Stephanie & crew!! First off, thank God that Lady Isabelle was able to get out of France before the new lockdown! It's so good to know that she will be reunited with Sir Percy again! Much love to all the La Landers! Stephanie, you are such a true lady of the world. You draw the best of humankind to you & your quest for elegance at La Lande. I always so enjoy each & every new adventure that you embark upon! Your magical spirit will take you so far!!
Oh good to know ... I didn’t see a video with them all saying goodbye... maybe was for the patreon vídeos or would be shown a later date ?

@@Horus070 it was on patreon
I like this guy, glad he is doing as he promised....to come and show recipes with goat cheese. Love your hair Stephanie! It looks so good and fits your skin tone much better.
Good that Isabelle is with her husband Percy Attfield finally👏👏👏
This channel is going from strength to strength 🧡💜🧡💜🧡. Always entertaining. Always interesting. 💜💛💜💛. Always creatively brilliant. ❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜
Sarah I agree with you. It’s wonderful how we can come together in mind & spirit & enjoy Stephanie’s vlogs. It gets better with every vlog she puts out
and Dana is here she’s always a ray of sunshine
What about the Kat game? "I like my cheese, like I like my French men... Rough on the outside and smooth and sweet on the inside.☺
Love Dana. She is always happy.
Guillem is sooo handsome. I can look at him forever.
I remember your trip to his farm and he promised he would visit Lalande good man eat up
So nice to see Guillem again! Stephanie your new colour looks beautiful. Wonderful Sunday at Lalande xx
The cheese man is very handy in the kitchen, I see! And he can’t stop looking at you Stephanie!
When we are all together and watching things happen it makes me feel so happy and comforting to know there are wonderful kind and creative people out there in the world.
So inspired....Guillem is so generous with his knowledge and skills...way cool
I immediately ran to the kitchen and grabbed my goat cheese and puff pastry. No whiskey but oh well.
Ohhh, you must have him back again to create more wonderful dishes! I sooo want to try these! looks very yummy!
And he cooks ! 🇦🇺
Your channel is the best... a ray of sunshine. Going through some very intense anxious things and your videos are the break I allow myself, and they bring me joy and calm.
You expressed it perfectly , for me too
Stéphanie's french has the South West accent like her mother. :)
I remember eating a ‘burnt’ pastry pie in Paris in 1982. It was utterly delicious and I can still taste it now.
Oh the cheese man was lovely and the recipes were brilliant
Lovely vlog.Love the french pastry chef I could hear the sound of the pastry crunch. The kitchen a hive of energy. The Scottish kilt missing Gerry.Dear Selmar coming in from his work to a meal set aside perfect.Missing mummy Isabelle but is now with her love Percy.Thankyou for outstanding cooking class look forward to more from lovely chef f❤️❤️👏👏
My mouth was watering throughout this whole video.
Such wonderful recipes! I love when you have French guests! I get to practice my French comprehension and then your translation let’s me know how well I’ve understood!
That recipe was exactly the same as a Yorkshire curd tart that my grandmother taught me to cook ! Many years ago I may add, Betty’s in Harrogate still make and sell it to this day and it is delicious.
I was going to say the same. They are very very similar
When I was at uni in Sheffield, I loved that tart from our local bakery in Broomhill.Id forgotten all about it TIL now😁
yes I thought it was like the curd tart I used to buy in York they are delicious. .
I’ve decided to make the low calorie version... I’m just having a whisky. Cheers!
Ha!!
Haha. That was funny
😂 good one!
😀😁😃😆
lol
Who knew goats cheese with honey and whiskey........looked very good.....love the salad dressing that the goat man made....the easiest oil vinegar, mustard Dijon of course , salt, pepper ......and some garlic.......yummy.......Donna in Toronto
If you roll raisins in flour first , they won't sink to the bottom. A pie shell isn't really deep but if making a cake or muffins, they will sink to the bottom if not rolled in flour.
Stephanie you’re hair color is perfect!
My Danish grandmother used to make her potato pie that way. It was always delicious.
@@missbehaving4710 It was a lard and butter pastry, much like a puff pastry, rolled thin , filling was mashed potatoes, goat cheese, butter, and dill, and the technique is much the same, roll, fold , and repeat 3 or 4 times, brush with egg wash and bake for about 30 mins in a hot oven. I will get the recipe from my old book and email it to Chateau La Lande to Nathalie's attention.
@@missbehaving4710 I am guessing that you might get a fabulous result with filo pastry.
I’m going to make these tomorrow our lockdown dinner Pity we can’t post photos of how ours turn out Wonder if any goats cheese will do as I’m not in their region ?
I miss Mummy 💕 but so happy she is with her Percy!! I am not a fan of goats cheese however I can definitely adjust all 3 of the recipes to include a different cheese. The Scottish ramiken ones are adorable!! I often wrap Brie in puff pastry with plum or pepper jam. Delish!!
The vintage dress combo Stephanie .... absolute winner !
Nice that they were able to reconnect during their new lockdown. Must be tough on his business operation.
I would have thought this was filmed before the new lockdown; I'm afraid he wouldn't be allowed to visit them now.
@@agathapower246 ohhh I was wondering...Phillip, Kat and Nat seem to be living there for close to 3 months ? So this was not filmed recently then ? It seems to be right after last episode that they had hair coloring together
Stephanie has said that she is ahead in filming by about a week so that if something were to happen and she couldn't film/edit she wouldn't fall behind in posting for us all.
I vote for Dana for MVP. Waste not, want not!
I have fired up the oven !! Thank you all and how wonderful to hear a lot of French spoken in your vlog... Superb! 🧀🏰💛💙💜💝
Thank you ever so much for the cooking class. I will try them all. Thank you Lady Stephanie enjoyed all. God bless
That looked truly sublime! I hope you can carry on with more cooking videos, especially with Guillem. I would cheerfully travel to France just to dine at his restaurant. (If only we could travel to France at the moment!)
The lovely Guillem, indeed! :-)
As with my Norman heritage, I loooove the English and the French communication skills! Definitely more of this please??!
Hello Stephanie, another fantastic episode. The whisking technique is something I observed years ago on holiday in the Caribbean. So lovely to hear french being spoken, it's a language I would love to speak fluently. Wish we could have more Chateau Diaries in French, with English subtitles!!! What an amazing way to enjoy activities at the Laland and learn the language too.
Dana, your blouse looks amazing!
Stephanie's dress is so beautiful ❤️
I feel more goat recipes are needed.Demo was hilarious!Scenery attractive too!
I love Goat man. Look forward to his next visit. The recipes all looked and sounded so yummy. Another great visit with my wonderful friends at La Lande. Take care and stay safe🤗
Adorable men just flock to that chateaux. 😍
I know this is none of my business. But I truly hope Stephanie and Phillip are getting it on. Those two are just too beautiful to be apart. I ship them.
This would make a great vlog to do each week, having someone from the area come and show how to make a yummy dish to eat. Its wonderful to have many of the volunteers there all learning, sharing and laughing, enjoying the time together.
Feels like a scrummy session, in awe of your forthcoming blogs on local cooking. The chateau crew who keep on giving. What a wonderful lockdown present to all your viewing diarist’s. 💝🥧🍯👩🏼🍳🤩🍷🇫🇷😷 Stay safe y’all
Sensational cooking lesson with the sexiest chef I have ever laid eyes on, with clear directions on how to make this delicious galette Stephanie you are so good at finding fascinating people and surrounding yourself with themplus sharing them. Thank you for more fun during these horrible depressing times. Mary Ann Recht, Chicago.
Solid real time translation by Stephanie, especially Oeufifier/Eggify That seemed like a fun thing to learn, this is a legit cooking class.
Stephanie must have loved Dana's toilet de joke blouse.
I’m now craving goat cheese yum... but I’ll make do with my homemade leek and potato soup yum xx 👍😋😋🏴🏴
I will take what your eating yummy but I also LOVE GOAT CHEESE!Julia Elizabeth Kneece Gregg
Ha ha 😄How many La Lander's does it take to set a table?
We definitely need a La Londe cookbook.
Getting close to 100k!! Go Stephanie!! You deserve it 🥰
Dana is over mixing poor Guillem’s potatoes. he’s a very patient man.
I loved seeing “Bill” there to cook for us! He seemed so nervous at first, but a little bit of drink later, he was really enjoying himself! ❤️👍😁😋
I use dried beans to wait down the crust ,so it doesn't rise . Rock salt is a good idea .
A sheperdesses Tart - I'm beside myself with laughter.
What a fabulous cook. I am famished now.
Guillerm makes this look easy. Loved this cooking lesson.
This was a true joy to watch!
I have just discovered this fantastic channel. Stephanie and her team are so genuinely positive and inspirational! You make this horribly difficult work of renovating and maintaining the castle seem fun and exciting. Best of luck, guys!
A great escape from an otherwise dull Monday. My mouth is watering! Stephanie, your hair looks fantastic-hats off to Annalise 🍂🍁
Oh, what a sublime episode... Simply sublime cuisine. Definitely look forward to more episodes about local cuisine. Thank you!
Monday is the new Sunday..looking forward to the cheese event..🍽
Isn't today Sunday? Time has no meaning anymore and we lost an hour last night 😂
I am from down under...hello to you from Melbourne..🇳🇿
What an great episode!! Really enjoyable people. I love Dana so much, lovely lady and she is such an accomplished cook. I think Dana was living the life learning the secrets of the delish cheese dishes. I’m so hungry 😫!!
Great to show up almost on time. Daylight Savings Time is challenging my internal clock. Hello All!!
Ahh you must be viewing from the US? Here in the UK and France we changed the clocks last weekend. 😉
Brilliant feast! Looks like a winner! Pastry and rum raisin anything (as ice cream) is so delicious, so I appreciate those recipes. Thank you to all. D.
Love seeing all your friends around 🎉
Thoroughly enjoyed viewing your guest Guillem from Goats Cheese of Poumoue skilfully demonstrate and cook the iconic French cheese’s. Superb dishes also loved the French conversations during the vlog. Thank you very much :-) love your beautiful provincial fabric dresses too simply gorgeous 💙 :-))
Another fabulous day at the chateau that makes my day worthwhile!!
I really enjoyed watching your french chef and so interested in those french recipes. I hope you get him back again. Love watching people cook.
What you can do with cheese is endless..goats cheese is delious.. These recipes look easy peasie..not too complex...thanks for sharing..🍷
At last Goat Man!! Absolutely loving your outfit Stephanie 😀
Goat cheese/milk has more protein in it. Best animal milk for humans. This looks so good... I'm drooling. Thank you for the share!
Wow. Off to the kitchen I go to cook up a rustic meal that looks so delicious and I will be serving it at my next luncheon. Thank you Stephanie. Just keep all the good things coming be they recipes or fashion. Bless you for creating such a wonderful community of like minded people from all over the universe.❤️
Bonjour Stephanie and ... well all of the friends ! This episode was fantastic and yes, I am going to try and make those dishes. For now, thank you for sharing this great moment with you.
This was fabulous! I love what you made, I want a piece now! He was very charming and clear. I might try to make some. More French cooking, genus❤️
