  • UFC You should be ashamed to have these people as judges. as a diehard fan. I am honestly getting sick and tired of seeing these amazing athletes get robbed by incompetent judges. The amount of times it’s happened over the last three years really makes it seem more of a political thing within the company to me. It’s always the guy with the market or following that the UFC wants to push. That seems to get a win. Kai you won that fight no matter what anybody or any judge or any commission says you were 100% robbed and I guarantee if you challenge it there’s no possible way that they can deny it feel better friend.

The elites that gambles already know the winner before hand, so this is when they place a big bet and get even richer. Bookies are the real problem in sports.

I think either decision is defensible, but I really didn't see many of Kai's shots do much. The most damage he did was at the end of R3, a round that was impossible to give to him.

  • I thought it was such a clear decision for Kai, I went to do something else instead of watching decision. When I heard later I was shocked. Cannot believe that. It's so f'd up bc this affects the trajectories of their careers a lot. Super messed up smh. Feel for Kai, but I know he'll be back.. I wish the rankings and matchmakers didn't have to reflect BS decisions like this. Something needs to be done at some point. It's hurting perception of the sport imo

    • Agreed, but the best they can do is rematch. There really needs to be a deep investigation into the Nevada and Texas commissions and rework the judges. These judges currently do not objectively score fights, and they possess some obvious biases and it’s getting to the point the sport is becoming unwatchable. Every card seems to be stained with at least 1 egregious robbery decision.

    • Sals judging is fine. Round 1 was close and couldve gone either way. But chris lees judging is insane. Round 4 was the most decisive round in the fight for kai. The most corrupt judges are Ron Mcarthy, Chris lee and Doug Crosby

In regards to this particular fight, since I haven't watched it and have no implicit bias either way, I simply don't care who won. I do, however, have fond memories of the controversial decisions that Israel has been in, plenty of which a large proportion of people believe he should have lost.

  • they need to interview these judges and hold them accountable fr lmao we need to know what goes in in that head of there's and also, we need people to appeal these fights and have credible fair judges ref them in private when it's appealed who aren't from the same state or country as the fighters who won't be biased. reviewing the fight full on after the fight is over should be much easier after it's appealed. the stats were overwhelmingly in favor of Kai Kara France

  • the round that has me the most confused is how Lee scored the 4th for Albazi. That round was as clear a winner for KKF as I believe round 3 was for Albazi, simply because he did have a deep choke in but KKF should his guts by fighting through that cause A LOT of people would have tapped to that choke. I can see the reasoning behind the 1st two rounds being split but I had KKF winning both, 5 was definitely KKF due to damage inflicted in that round. I would love to hear an explanation as to how Lee scored the 4th round the way he did.

    • @@LateNightChess I disagree with that, Albazi won round 4 due to the rules. He came the closest to a fight ending sequence which was more important than the damage Kai had that round. That said, Kai should’ve EASILY won the fight at least 3-2 and maybe even 4-1.

  • Giving the 4th to Amir was one of the worst decisions i have seen in a long time, if not the worst. I feel terrible for both fighters. I'm sure deep down Amir knows his win was not right and he has to live with that.

  • This really is the turning point in my mind about "rigged" fights or "favoured decisions". I was invested in this fight from round 1-5. I shut my laptop and walked off in genuine disbelief that Kai didnt win. We all know he won, so obviously judging needs to change as a whole so that the possibility of whatever the fuck is going on behind closed doors, cant exist.

    • It’s just way too convenient that sus decisions keep happening between rising prospects and seasoned vets. I know it doesn’t happen every time, but after the Paddy decision, it really leaves you skeptical every time the judges blow it in favor of the hype train that outwardly would seem to draw more eyes for the ufc. They gotta make sure it remains a sport and not a circus.
