How can you call this "simple" when the vast majority of people dont have a metal lathe?? 😂
it is simple if you have a lathe…
Nice shop
Or an upright mill. Very clean shop though. Must not get very many jobs.
What a beautiful workshop that is.
Condivido questo metodo, se costruito con alta precisione sicuro è il migliore 👍👋
Very good idea! :)
Mükemmel bir fikir çok güzel eline sağlık 👏
Sua oficina e show. Parabéns 🎉
LOL Btw. Fantastic surface finish on the cylindrical part.
Great idea.
Show de bola ⚽ ❤🇧🇷
Good afternoon Sergey, Great little tool and video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much my friend for watching my videos and welcome👍
Super idea👍👍👍
Thank you very much.
cool idea and amazing execution my friend!
Thanks bro!
Brilhante criação, formidável como sempre.
Muito obrigado, meu amigo, e bem-vindo!
Super!! Thanks
Thanks bro!
Very good idea, I will make one for myself!
That's great! Thank you my friend and welcome🙂
I actually bought one of these many years ago when I first got into machining and metal working. It only took a couple of times using my centering gizmo to realize that it was off by about 3/64". Now days if I need to drill dead center into the side of a cylindrical work piece, I'll just mount a short section of that same work piece onto the lathe and drill a hole down the center of it. I can then place my main work piece in my drill press vice and with my short drilled out piece of that same metal stock at a right angle to my main work piece, it acts as a centering guide for drilling a perfectly centered hole.
Smart. Thanks
Thanks:)
2 things to consider. Accuracy of the bracket's factory dimensions & accuracy of your modification to the bracket. Once you've found center, put a machinists level against the bottom of the "legs".
Très astucieux et simple ! Bravo
Merci beaucoup mon ami et bienvenue!
Bravo 👏👏
Thanks😉
Great idea, I am going to start using an old metal lathe soon and this kind of idea is great. Thank you. Greetings from Maine.
Thank you my friend, glad you are watching my channel and welcome.
cool cooler coolest
Thank you so much, man👍🤝🙏
You are very skilled.
As always, well done and cool tool mate. Please keep 'em coming bro.
Thank you my friend, glad you are watching my channel and welcome🙂
Another great tool that like to have but now thank's to you i'll have my own that i just made for about 1 hour ago so Thank You again my friend 👍👍
Thank you my friend, glad you are watching my channel and welcome👌🤝🙏
Eso es una ocurrencia sin ningún valor. Un profesional a ojo lo deja mejor centrado.
Super great tool to have near the drill press.
👍 !
🙏
I love your videos! Practical and quick device, but I think it's better to make the reference on the side and use the machine's digital ruler to find the center of the piece.
Yes I totally agree with you, but I don't have a digital ruler yet! Thank you for watching my videos and welcome!
0:20 Better glasses today than a glass eye tomorrow! 👍
Nicely done.
Thank you so much friend!
🙏🙏👍

👍🏻

👍🤝🙏
"Not many know this simple method" - Not many have a $15,000 lathe just sitting in their shop either. . . ..
Did you do this forcefully?
I love my work and am happy to share my videos with you, welcome!
Klar weil auch jeder so eine Maschine zuhause hat ...ihr habt doch einen an der Klatsche...
Handay tool going to build one for me.
He could have miced the piece and easily used the machine to find the center. Seems like a wire-plier attempt at aerospace engineering. Needs to get a set of wigglers; if you want to be really accurate.
Not very precise. Better off using an edge finder or a tangent plate.
A lot of work and expense to make a tool you can buy for about $10
what is it?
Onzin
Nicht unflott.
Add a voiceover and you’ll gain more subscribers. Explain what you are doing as you are doing it. No fancy writing, just use a few words, your own words, and your video will gain substantially more subscribers.
I do not see my iaginary lathe accompliing any of this.
Welcome😉
Good idea!
you can buy them cheaper than the metal and time making the tool
This is my hobby, I love my work! Welcome😉
😧
not a very accurate way to find center use a edge finder heck I have used a 1/4 in drill bit move in slowly till it starts to tap there is the edge
😳😳😳😳 ??????????????????????????????????????
😅😅😅
Sorry, but to make that ridiculous "tool", do you have to have a workshop worth thousands of dollars? Don't count on me
Nice shop.Get a haircut.
Clever. Thanks for sharing. 🦘🦘🦘
Genial, pero nada sencillo
👍👍👍
