  • The fact that this grown man is more worried about his own name, that he ruined himself, than the fact that he traumatized people for life screams volumes at the kind of person he truly is.

I’d be pissed too and take legal action. This whole thing is nothing but opportunism at its finest and the kids and parents didn’t say a damn word when they were receiving the checks.

    • He's not suing to "set the record straight" He's hoping to find inconsistencies in their argument so he can push his "innocence" narrative and get compensated for defamation. I'm pretty sure he is hoping that the victims don't have enough evidence to back up their claims and make it seem like they are doing a witch trial. I believe the victims, but if there isn't evidence, then it is just speculation, and he might be able to quiet them and get compensated. Yet.... he is opening a can of worms as there might be an investigation, and i hope the prosecutors will do a deep investigation to find enough evidence to destroy Dan.

  • The thing that annoys me the most is how Dan is like "I was young. I didn't know better" Sir you where 33 when the amanda show started in 1999. You where not young and trusting. You where a fully grown adult. You just liked the power you had over others. Let's look at how old Danny boy was at Nick. All That (1994) 28 years old. Kenan & Kel (1996) 30 years old. The Amanda Show (1999) 33 years old. Drake & Josh (2004) 36 years old. Zoey 101 (2005) 37 years old. iCarly (2007) 39 years old. Victorious (2010) 42 years old. Sam & Cat (2013) 45 years old. Henry Danger (2014) 46 years old. Game Shakers (2015) 47 years old. The Adventures of Kid Danger (2018) 50 years old. This wasn't a oops one time thing this was 24 years of bad behaviour. Did he do anything illegal I don't know but something being legal doesn't mean its OK to do. His "apology" video was already off but now he's suing it just shows who he is.

  • Dan reminds me of this guy that was just fired from my work for misconduct (amongst other things). He was a director and head of HR, and so the only way to report him was to go above him straight to the execs, which made a lot of people afraid to speak up. That, and he would do and say these things here and there that juuuuuust toed the line enough for him to claim plausible deniability, while pushing boundaries further and further until I barely registered how inappropriate it was that he was showing me shirtless pics of himself in my office when he did it. That sounds exactly like Dan - using his position of power to intimidate others into silence, making others question themselves, pushing the boundaries of what is appropriate on and off screen, and, when confronted, turn on the sad boy face and deny deny deny. People like that make you question yourself, but the truth is they know EXACTLY what is and isn’t appropriate, and they know EXACTLY who they can and cannot manipulate and how. In the end, it was me that finally got fed up and said something, and dontcha know it, that caused a slew of others to come forward with their own stories, and he had absolutely no one to defend him. When we compared notes, each thing he did seemed small in isolation, but when you put all the stories together it created a far larger, more malicious picture. He lied to each of us, said something different to every person, did his best to turn us against each other…and we didn’t even know it until one of us spoke up. And now Jeanette McCurdy is speaking, which opened the floodgates on Dan. Many have spoken up, but more importantly, some very important people have remained SILENT. The small things in isolation - feet jokes, c*mshot jokes using children, inappropriate touching and hugging - paint a larger and more sinister picture. I think this man knows exactly what he’s doing. Just…be safe out there, ya’ll. And trust your gut.

    @itslaila1826@itslaila182613 күн бұрын
  • As a child of the 80’s and 90’s, whose parents couldn’t afford The Disney Channel, I lived on Nickelodeon shows. Looking back I’ve realized that some of them had raunchy jokes. There were a lot of adult themed scenarios in shows like Ren & Stimpy, which reigned during a time when cartoons were becoming more graphic and geared towards teenagers. MTV did this in the 90’s with Beavis & Butt-head. And the puppet show Sifl & Olly which was notably cancelled due to furious mom’s who thought it was a children’s puppet show. Either way, point is, people like Dan could use all sorts of excuses and be let off the hook because adult jokes in kids shows was becoming a normal occurrence. Nickelodeon put predators like him in power and allowed all of it to happen, and that needs to stop. He’s already confessed in his video response so the likelihood of a lawsuit is slim.

THEYRE JUST SCARED OF GOING THERE BECAUSE THEY *KNOW* WHAT THEY DO TO P3D0S AND CHILD M0L3ST3RS IN PRISON. THEY WANT THEIR LIVES AND THEY WANT THE MONEY. CHILDREN HAD LOST THE LIFE AS THEY KNEW IT, BUT STILL GOT MONEY BECAUSE THEY DIDNT WANNA SAY ANYTHING. NOR COULD THEY EVEN *LEGALLY* SAY ANYTHING.
