Hello my friends, if you want to make this project you should wait enought to dry epoxy glue. I complated the project in 3 days. After 01:59 you should wait 8-9 minutes and be very careful while taking off the wooden block. After taking off the wooden block check again the angles of the linear shafts. After the every steps at 02:25, 05:43, 08:54 wait 24 hours. Kolay gelsin :)

Excellent and simple design! But it makes sense to make the distance between the guide rods more, for example 20-30 centimeters.
I really love the way you changed the paradigm. Many other designs always deal with complicate ways to fasten the complete drill. Your idea is great. Congratulations!
Gluing is unforgiving...
Excellent way to have a drill press without taking up the space of a drill press. Great video. Thank you.
Your idea is beautiful and elegant! You have shown an easy way how to make this necessary fixture yourself. Thank you for the video!
Out of all the DIY power tool jigs I saw on KZhead, this one is actually very cool and useful
I just found your channel today and I am amazed by your level of ingenuity. Thank you for taking the time to teach! Subscribed 👌🏾
I think that you are so creative. I love watching your videos and how thorough you are in your building all of the amazing machinery using regular tools.
Excellent video. Thanks for putting the measurements at the end.

Did you ever know that you're my hero? No joke man! I do dig your style!
Excelente tu trabajo!!! Felicidades!!! Bendiciones, éxitos!!! Saludos Cordiales desde Asunción, Paraguay 🇵🇾
Hello Dear Mr. Altuntash Your handmades are simple, cheap and efficient. I have already made three of them, but are not as good as yours. Thanks. MB from Iran, Isfahan, Shahinshahr
Sağol Usta, əllərin var olsun! 100 il yaşa. Bu çok lazımlı bir alet. Çalışacam aynisini kəndimə yapam, bu pademidə boş zaman çokdu! Təşəkkürlər 🇦🇿🇹🇷☪️☝️⭐🌙
Sir even one if does make it there is so much you can learn and use for other projects, THANK YOU for making these videos.
Congratulations on the excellent work, what are these springs you used in the project? Thank you
Awesome work. I will be making this today. The ones on the market are way too expensive. Thanks for sharing. I love watching your videos.
Çok yeteneklisiniz. Bunları düşünmek tasarlamak bile mühendislik alt yapısı ister. Zevkle takip ediyorum. Devamı gelir inşallah.
I definitely need this drill guide. Excellent video, thank you for sharing.
Silly me. . . I wasted a LOT of money on store bought tools, only to find myself watching how to build them inexpensively, then doing it myself. Looks like I can sell my tools now ;) Excellent video.
Really awsome work, congratsss!!!! It´d be great to buid one, but finding the parts will be such an impossible mission...
Brilliant Video and idea. This has given me an idea how to use something like this to cut bigger holes in holes already made for fitting recessed lights Many thanks
I pre drill the larger desired hole through a 1/2" thick small piece of plywood on my drill press. Then either screw or double sided tape this template over the existing undersized hole that does not allow a center point. The template will serve as a guide to allow your larger hole saw or bit to not wander. I fix woodpecker holes this way and then make tapered plugs of similar material and glue them in place.
FELICITACIONES. MUY BUEN TRABAJO. MUY UTIL Y VERSATIL. GRACIAS POR EL APORTE. Y POR SER UN ALTRUISTA.
my favorite diy ideas channel, nice work mate
Great idea drilling slightly over-size holes and then setting the the rods and guide bushings in epoxy, that way the holes don't have to be perfect which is hard without the drill guide that you're making. :-)
Now that you can drill normal holes, you can make Mark II with tighter tolerances. I suggest a wider separation between the guides is warranted for such a version, not just because you have more precision, but that will provide a base that will throat larger pieces _and_ be susceptible to the addition of dogs or clamps. Tools are a contagion.
Thank you for this simple yet effective tool for drilling straight holes.
Great thing! Thanks for showing all the materials names.
That tiny square is probably the cutest thing I've ever seen. I would keep it in my pocket always and probably name it.
The best! Thank you!
Ellerinize sağlık. Yay ölçüleri nedir? Nereden satın aldınız? İnternetten aratarak bulamıyorum malesef. İyi çalışmalar
How much does it wobble? My experience with all these setups such as the cheap Wolfcraft is that precision is hampered by the necessary space between the tube and the bearing. Can you tilt the drill at all once it's locked in?
Great design and very cool! I'm going to have to make one now.
Another genius creation. Great job.
Another brilliant project! All I want to do is make Gökmen's tools now.
great work. thanks for sharing
güzel çalışma tebrikler. daha fazka video bekliyoruz.
hello congratulations for your work, if you allow me I wanted to ask the size of the springs, length, diameter and thickness of the wire. are compression springs true? thanks for any answers
I have 2 guides from an old compound miter slide saw. This could be paired w/ a large drill. Thank you for making this video.
As always, exceptional. Congratulations
hello did I want to ask you what sizes are the springs and the thickness of their wire? Good project
Can I use 8mm linear shaft? With the cost of 10mm I might as well buy a pre-made drill guide.
VERY VERY GOOD, CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOUR IDEA AND FOR SHARE US, THANK YOU!
Another great tool. Well done! The block of wood for use as a drill guide is an excellent idea! Suggestion. If you add a Vee Block to the bottom of the platform, you can drill straight holes in Pipe or drill a straight hole in the corner of a 2x4 or any other square/rectangle piece of wood as well. You could make the Vee Block removable I might make myself one :-)

Great idea Thank you🙏
This is awesome video, Did the metal parts buy from aliexpress? Can link? Thanks
Thanks for the video! can you say what's the diameter and dimensions of the pipe you glued to the drill chuck? and the dimensions of the bearings used for it? Thank you!
What springs do you use? what is the thickness of the wire? What is the diameter of the spring and its length? thank!
Excelente trabalho!
I wonder if you could put a few gears on it and increase the total torque of the press
Excellent! Thank you a great inspiring video.

I love this! Spotted it in your router lift video and looked it up. :)
That’s pretty awesome brah! I like that little engineers square lol
Excellent craftsman!
Very clever. Can't wait for the next project. Cheers
Excellent yet again Gökmen!
Be nice to know how I can find these parts, and to know if some of those inserts are bearings? Without vocals or information, it's just a cool video that I wish that I could apply.
Seth Jones linear bearings on Amazon. New to me!
Çox sağol Usta, əllərinə sağlıq 👍👍👍🇦🇿🇹🇷☝️☪️🤘
Perfect! To be even more perfect, just missing angles.
Excelente trabalho, parabéns!!
Simply and utility tool, I need one of this, take the idea, thank you.

💥💥Thank you for building that for me - that's what I need! It's enough if you send it to me on Monday! Greetings from Michael.💥💥😃
Buen trabajo..!...👏👏👏👏
What is the spring description you used ?
Aliexpress
Amazing ideas
You need to grind off the shaft. Make a 6-sided bit. The drill bit can slip. The shaft is very hard and slippery. You can spoil the drill chuck. In addition, a larger bottom stand would be more stable.
where can buy that material ? is there any link ? thank you so much
