    • @obama Barack You're quite pretentious aren't you? I'd probably add ignorant and conceited to the list too. Hell I'd even bet you're a vegan, because of those very traits. OP said imagine the internet was simply turned of. To which I responded that I have stuff backed up for such an event. In that case the worlds electronics would be fine and we would have power. In a more likely scenario our electronics would be destroyed via an EMP. Whether that be a solar, or perhaps nuclear. Or maybe the poles of our planet's electromagnetic field will reverse. We have say in only one of those options. The one which we have so far managed to control as a species. And in the case we fail, that probably means extinction anyhow. As for the other possibilities us mining for precious metals has literally nothing to do with a solar flare or our poles switching. So, mr. pretentious, your comment from your mightily high horse can be rolled up and inserted directly into your bum. Curb your hypocrisy and perhaps take the time to learn something instead of being a useless parasite on society.

  • We are living through history. Someday, some kid somewhere will open a book, see the date 2020, and go, "Wow." He'll look at our pictures, look into our eyes from the future, and never know who we were. Just like we'll never know who he is. Time erases everything, eventually.

  • Wisdom lost.....how intriguing. It's been said that we forget more than we shall ever know in our finite lifespan. It is such blissful ignorance that clouds the minds of humanity from the ancient clues of the Earth. Clues that ultimately lead to the despair of uninhibited truth. We are mere details upon the ever unraveling tapestry of reality. It will only be a matter of time before we are forgotten. Faded into obscurity. Even time will die. Unto the strange eons beyond time, even death may die. I don't usually quote Lovecraft's work in my feelings of these pieces, but it felt too perfect for it. I quite enjoy this. It's truly a shame how much the world forgets itself. I'm worried how long it will be before conflict breaks out onto the world due to its lack of remembering the lessons history has echoed to us over millennia. I just hope when the time comes, logic and order win. For I fear the present dark ages that will come to test all to the most extreme degree. Hatred. Panic. Madness. It's out there, in media, in one's fellow man, it lurks within all of us. It will always be too close. Barely visible. Waiting to strike out and destroy. I suppose that's the reason why I love Dark Ambience. It lays a truth bare for every human being that listens. All we have to do is listen. And understand the enemy of fear, so we may be ignorant no more.

    • yes.. all is forgotten, to be deformed, rebirthed gain. metamorphosis. its nothing to be feared.. your cells constantly die to be replaced by new ones, all decays for something to grow or feed off its corpse and be born anew. there is beauty and pain in it all. what you are is far more than just birth and death, its as much of an illusion as will or ego. there is one life, yet an infinity at the same time. we forget, to be born again. nothing can be conserved. it goes beyond logic or reason. chaos is what life is, an inequality, mistake, if you will.. but in this chaos there is perfect harmony, between nothingness and all there is just the right place. maybe there will be silence one day, if days there will still be. an empty bliss beyond space or time. heat death. but enjoy the noise while it lasts, then rest in silence.

  • I remember one time having admin powers in a minecraft server that had a plugin i think it was called Eagle eye. its most wonderous feature was the ability to rewind time in an area to fix any areas that got griefed or to aid in an investigations or for fun....maybe cruelty.. . it was fanasting to find a ruined castle a player had built but was picked apart by players and to use this power to reverse time day by day and see bits of the castle slowly start reappearing and I'd really love to have a power like this in real life. the game "Singularity" had a device that would do something similar Time Manipulation Device. one of the puzzles involved aging a crate into a pile of rust, placing it under a large door then reversing its age to push the door open so you could continue onwards. other things was like finding old ruined medical supplies and deaging them into useable ones.

  • It begins with an influx of sounds; whispers, sirens, warnings, greetings. Not the kinds of greetings that put a smile on your face. The kind that bids you farewell as you crumble to nothingness. They prepare us all in the same way. The fleshy pods that grow our minds and bodies. Our limbs. Our fingernails. Even the finest details; every curve of our unique fingerprint. It carries on for years. The whispers and sirens and warnings and greetings. And all the while our eyes remain shut to the flickering lights of the long-forgotten laboratories in which they experiment on our creation. We could hear strangers come and go. Our creators? Our enemies? We don't know. It is impossible to know with these unbearably heavy eyelids shut tight by mechanical stitching and the thick, viscous material suspending us in these disgusting fleshy pods. I remember on the fifth year there were sirens. Blaring noise scratching through the viscous world of mine, digging into my ears, nestling deep in my spine. There were immense vibrations. It felt as though the viscous liquid battered against me, but at the same time shielded me from what tried to crack my bones. I could feel some of us disconnect from our one mind. Were they set free? Were they finally given the world they were promised by our creators? I will never know. A part of me finds solace in the mystery. A part of me knows that without the confirmation, I get to choose the outcome. And I choose to believe they were freed. Ignorant? Perhaps. The creators did always say optimism was the death of the previous. It has been fifty years since I've heard anything. Suspended in nothingness. There are no masters anymore and the last voice separated from our mind - my mind now, I guess - more than ten years ago. I can do nothing here but count the seconds and hope. But I fear no one will come, and I might be here for eternity.

  • ... Humanity is still in an experimental stage of evolution & therefore ..in our journeys in music, we meet paths to explore our Soul but also of the Soul that precedes us, unfolding the veil of sweet anticipation ..waiting for the meeting we want with our Beloved who have already left ... Following such musical paths, we have the opportunity to keep up with our pain ..to become companions with the loss ..without completely crippling. As time passes and the veil slips, revealing the real possibilities of our endurance in the pain of loss .. our wounds are healed but the gap of our Humanity grows bigger and the cruelty that covers the wound, also taking the place of our Love ... My Personal belief... Very good music ... very Deep path..Darkness, it is not the absence of Light..but the belief that the Light will never return ...

  • Wisdom is built over generations. Many believe it comes with experience or old age in their own life. True wisdom is the knowledge of ages, reason and truth learned and taught. New wisdom is real as well and Precious. Yet just like so many ages have seen the rise of wisdom, it can also diminish. In a single century of greed and politics, it can be destroyed. The destiny of mankind may be for our pathos, our pathetic desires to outlast wise logic. ... Time will tell. - Samurai Master Gosanabe.
