cool as heck. how has the solid held up since it was made? i would be concerned about leaving it in direct sunlight, or in a place that's too hot or too cold. is it robust to different household environments? this seems like a great thing to pass on through generations. 70 years from now, your great grandchildren could tell the story of the wise couple who will hold hands for all time in a life beyond ours.

oh my god, seeing this video brings me so much joy! I’m 14 at the moment, I’m in a relationship with a guy from my old school lol, I know that’s really young but, I’ve known him since 6th grade but this has to be the cutest video I’ve ever seen, I genuinely hope me and my boyfriend last long enough to do something like this because this is so adorable! I heard you guys have been lasting a while and I’m so happy for you both! I could feel the pure joy and happiness in your wife/girlfriends voice, that’s so cute. - I’m the same age, but I’ve been rejected and lied too so many times that I’m just addicted to these heart warmers because it’s something that I’ve never had. It wears me down, and every now and then I need a reminder that people are still worth loving. I’m happy for you and your boyfriend! Blessings to you both!

I remember watching this a couple years back on repeat. Maybe 2 or 3 and always being amazed about what was going on. It just looks so cool and fun to do. And how close you are with someone (if you're doing this with another person.) is just amazing.

I like the way she finished it. I had one done at Bristol Ren Fair in 1995, and they didn't do anything to finish the inside or base...It was hollow and weak, and after some time, it wouldn't stand up on its own. Plus, the blue dye stained the wood of my furniture...If I ever did it again, I would have them do several layers of uncolored wax on the bottom.

- I’ve dipped my hand in melted wax (one of those therapeutic at-home wax melters) and it’s basically like putting your hand into a hot tub or getting into a hot shower. It’s a little much at first but you acclimate quickly.
