Abandoned cars rescued from the woods! 1950 Plymouth sedan + 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 Resting Relics!

2021 ж. 23 Ақп.

Mr. Goodpliers and his friend Joe return to the Model T farmstead to pick up the cars purchased at the auction, a 1950 Plymouth sedan and a 1962 Ford Galaxie 500. Watch as they go from abandoned in the woods, buried to the hubs, to rolling, and up on the trailer for a ride to the Rust Ranch!

  • Good video. Glad to see those old pieces of our history going to good homes as has been already mentioned. Secondly thanks for not trying to make more of this adventure than what it is with unnecessary music and special editing.

If I had had any brains back then, I would of put a few away from everyone to rebuild again... hard to say but thank you for sharing.... Starting in 62 was my favorite fords... I did have the 61 starliner with a factory four speed and 406 ford engine and same color as that is. Its kinda a weird purplish color yet not that really either but fast is the very understatement

Would love to see you put a 427 in a 66 2-door [race motor that Carol Shelby would approve of... unless you can get a 428 super cobra jet [not to be confused with a regular 428]. :-)) Fairlaine 66 or Galaxy 2 door with 427 side oilers or 428 super cobra jets.... are just the best :-)) Liking these 7.3 liter Godzilla builds that are starting to get figured out for insane horse powers :-)))

    @blah646@blah6463 жыл бұрын
    • No the cars were auctioned off and they won the auctions. You cant just take an abandoned car....imagine you did and spent 20k restoring it then the previous owner or relative goes to the cops. They will take the car back off you and you will be hit with a theft charge or reset

      @ih8hertz1@ih8hertz13 жыл бұрын
    • @@ih8hertz1 well, the word abandoned ( to me ) sounds like someone deserted, and walked away from these derelict vehicles. Only a suggestion, maybe, field Find auction would be more appropriate for your title. Anyway, instead of turning these precious relics into scrap iron, you became a bidder and saved these gems, great!

Would each state have any idea how many cars they have registered and how many have disappeared off the system over the years never to be seen again ,cars could be exported or scrapped and a certain number still on the road but where are the rest ? it seems they just vanish from official records for decades .
