Last tuesday, we were invited to Motor Tuesday by a local car club. I took my tanks with me and had a really nice evening, driving, demonstrating and talking to a lot of great people! The 3D-printer as a tool to make hard-to-get car parts became very obvious when talking to some of the car enthusiasts.
That's a gorgeous 1962 Chrysler Imperial (2:35), I love to see all these vintage cars and bikes out and running! Looks like everyone thoroughly enjoyed their mini military escort!
Haha, right? :D And yes, just amazing cars, not least the old T-fords and the DeSotos from the -40's.
Being an American, I love seeing all the old cars from the USA. This car show isn't any different than the many car shows I been to. I know everyone had a great day. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome, man! Many Swedes really love old American cars, it's always great to see them on the road. 👌
Excellent video Erik and beautiful cars, I especially like the Ford pick-up at 1:28 and if I'd known there was going to be a chopper there I would have brought my chopper trike! I'm sure everyone was pleased to see your fantastic models.
Thank you! Awesome, would love to see it! I'm always a bit torn between taking my Harley or bringing the models to meets like this. 😆
@@builtbyWikander Have sent a pic by FB messanger. Hope I have the right Erik!
Beautiful cars and Panzers.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you for watching! 🤘🤘🤘
Looks like a fun day to me. I like the old Volvo's. I want to go to Sweden some day, it's so beautiful there. Have to visit Pelle Lindbergh as well in Stockholm.
Thats awesome, you are welcome!
@@builtbyWikander Thank you! It's something I've always wanted to do since I was young playing hockey. When he died, it was devastating to me and so many others. I really want to go to Militracks in the Netherlands too. Trying to get my wife on a plane will not be an easy task though.🤞
@@brianbindas6816 A lot of nice goals on your list, I hope you get around to realize it soon!
Very nice cars 🔵🔵🔵👍👍👍😀😀😀🔵🔵🔵
Yeah, they were awesome!
Love that Steyr
Thanks for watching!
Nice! A question on your previois video if you don't mind? Do you fo any calculations to determine the totque/drive gear and belt ratios? And also for weight, springs and so forth? Thanks.
Thank you! Well, some... I know the torque of the electric drills, and the RPM, and roughly how much I gear it down when using the belt and belt wheels. Springs and weight is mostly trial and error, but now days I sort of know where to begin.
@@builtbyWikander thank you. Experience sure helps!
Geil👍👍👍
Hi, I just calculated how much rpm I need for the speed i wish to get but it just blew my mind because I need 625 rpm is this normal?
Haha, sounds about right for a fast tank! My M/39 is geared 1:1 due to lack of space and gives 550 rpm, and that is pretty fast. If you want to gear yours down a bit to gain some torque, between 500 and 600 rpm is nice, if you want a quick model.
@@builtbyWikander Thanks for the info. I guess I need to go redesign the drive sprocket because it isn't going to hold that speed.
Wow!! Are American cars popular in Sweden?
😆
