I understand the frustration however I see no reason to blame Qatar for doing what the US and Israel asked them to do. Without negotiation from Qatar no hostages would even be back.

The logic concerning risk to the hostages sounds good until one recognizes that the risk to any civilians from the Hamas standpoint is questionable. The tactics of Hamas have placed the risk to Gazan civilians secondary to the use of their dire situation for political leverage. The hostages have not fared well from the moment they were abducted; so any talk of Hamas having concern for their situation is not realistic, except from the standpoint of their value to their abductors as in any hostage situation. If these things cannot be mentioned after six months, it is hard to take Qatar's official position seriously.

For those who are criticizing quatar what is the reason for your exact pov that they are doing anything but what you would expect. So what is it that you expect for quatar and where do you get your views from and how does that fuel your view or otherwise? I think you need to really ask yourself that question if you are infact judging from neutral and fairness with moral pov. I am an american, I am not a jew or arab so I really don't care of personal feelings because I have no reason to because jews or arab has done nothing to me in america. So, I just want to layout what many of people here in america by all races thinks and are saying so there's no speculation. 1st thing we do know in america is that quatar was asked and appointed by the united states of america to play as a bridge so there could be a direct communication which of course its no brainer so hostage release process can take. Tbh, we americans know the games this govt play from every angle which is a whole another topic itself but if I was quatar I would have said "HECK NO!!" but we all have to understand that nobody does what they do if there aren't any form of gain by people who asked, by people who said yes, and by people who are criticizing the employee but not the employer. This bullet point can be translated in many different ways because that is just how society works and we all live to benefit and gain but not to lose and lose for nothing. I also think we need to ask how did last 2 hostage deal was achieved? It clearly wasn't because netanyahu walked in the tunnels with a key and drove them back home, and it definitely wasn't because quatar did the same. To me and at least here in the states it's not too far fetched to ask..hmmmm.. maybe could it be someone who has so much leverage is the sole judge on the panel? how about the "one call" story when bill clinton was in office and supposedly stopped israel continuing a war with lebanon with 1 phone call? do you all get where I am going with this?
