  • Using the number 81 tip to make the pink flower you made is much harder than you make it look. Also, any tips for getting such a perfect edge around the cake without cake showing through? Even when I crumb coat (which you don't seem to do here), my edges show through the icing. Your cakes are beautiful!

    • @@suzyparker8303 carve the cake beforehand so all the edges are actually going to be sharp instead of counting on only the shape they take from the tin.. otherwise you might wanna add another small coat between your crumb and real cost, and use a card made for cake edges (they have a rounded shape in them) or simply use a semi flexible plastic sheet to get it smooth. Otherwise.. practice! That's why I prefer fondant tbh I make marshmallow fondant so it's more palatable

  • I don't remember the last time I had cake. I'm nearing the big 30 so it must be over a decade now. I never realize how much I miss the satisfying moment when my teeth sink into that first bite of a slice of cake. With the light fluffy icing that isn't overly iced on the cake, and the cake isn't too dry or too moist. God I miss cake. I don't have reason to buy one so I practically forgot about cake. I stopped celebrating birthdays when I was 10. It was just gifts with small gatherings and that was it. I could go for a cake right now. I don't care if it's too late or too early I could go for one this instant.

  • Do you have a video on just preparing the frosting. It's so prettiful. Frosting that looks so easy to spread is what I find most challenging.

    • If you look up how to make buttercream frosting, it's very easy to make and you just adjust ratios for softer or firmer frosting. That's what I use and is a pretty standard one for cake decorating :)

  • These guys: Making a beautiful decorated cake and using extremely difficult ingredients and SUCCEEDING Me: attempting to bake a browny with fudge and making the oven explode. (Seriously i tried to bake that today and my dad had to come save me and clean it because i’m such a noob) Edit: I tried baking this browny again and this time I sort of succeeded! It doesn’t look as beautiful as in the video but it’s pretty good, and at least the oven didn’t explode 😂

  • Someone mite think it's easy to make food look so good expecially desserts being chef decorator cook it's all hard this stuff takes time and effort. I use to do hospitality in school which was really fun to do. Thanks to those who make are food beautiful and enjoyable to eat.🥰🥰🥰
