  • @8:47 That gelatin flower/stone creation looks super cool! Love how they inject the clear gelatin with colored gelatin (I think?) to create petals and leaves, and those stones looked so real! Not sure how good it tasted, but it looked amazing!

    • Depending on the cake they can last a while. Also the frosting helps preserve them. That’s why traditional cakes are fruit cakes with fondant. It can last really well. For the new ones I just hope they do the decorating in a giant refrigerator

Какое удовольствие пихать в себя эстетически отвратительную пищу? Без «недоделанной» радуги, тоже, в современно-повернутом мире, никак не обойтись, но, хотя бы, с виду красиво)))

  • Le Novelle castle/palace cakes are mind blowing. Works of art, some taller than the bride and groom. Then there's the transportation and assembly which would be a headache on its own. Amazing.

    • Oh, yeah! Give me something a little less headache-y. I'd be more than cool with those smaller fruit-shaped cakes that have actual fruit in them. Buuut, if the name of the game is "go big or go home," this Dr Who fan wouldn't say no to a TARDIS cake. 😜 Extra points to the pastry chef if they attached a recording of the TARDIS arrival/takeoff sound.

  • It's amazing at how evolved and creative cakes have become this is a form of food art run amuck (in a good way of thinking outside the box) I always told my kids "everybody has something there good at" this is the perfect example of these people showing off there creativity
