  • Crazy, I worked with Stav years ago at one of my first jobs out of college, at a mortgage foreclosure firm of all places 😂 I remember his jokes and fuck this attitude getting me through the day. Loved the early days of seeing him do open mics/spots in Baltimore. This dude deserves all the success in the world. Happy his special has gotten so much attention. Props to Stav for his success! keep it up!

  • A lot of comedy-specials can be a bit dull/unfunny if you watch them alone on your phone. It’s just not the same as watching it live with a fun crowd. But THIS was genuine gold and I had a blast watching it alone on my couch. Loved it :)

    • I've seen him in some shorts before, and I started this with the same kind of expectation that it'll be basic jokes; but after 5-10 minutes, he clearly cares about what he's doing. He's funnier than I assumed. I think he will become more distinct of a voice in the next few years. Maybe I'm feeling overly positive today, idk.

I understand people laughed throughout the show, but seeing all the comments of how this is the funniest set they've ever seen, this had them laughing the hardest, 10/10 laughing the entire set, I mean, it's good they are positive comments but let's be truthful now, we're all here because we thought it was going to be a full set of him just roasting the entire audience as he does in all the shorts we've seen of him. I'm not saying it wasn't good, but it's different and it wasn't bad for his first full special. He will only get better with time and I'm waiting for the next one to drop.

Crowd work is one of the hardest aspects of stand up, and very few comedians have the confidence and competence to pull it off. And honestly, it makes going to one of his shows much more entertaining
