Exactly. Leicester, Madrid Threepeat and Greece 2004 weren't one off games that should be included in a list like this, though they are the unlikeliest achievements. Some things I remember which stand out more (showing my age) - Ronaldinho chip over Seaman, Porto beating United en route to the CL, the Pizzagate game, Zizou headbutt, United 8-2 Arsenal, The 5-0 classico, the final where Messi killed United, Spain destroying Italy at the Euros, RVP sent off at the Nou Camp, Netherlands avenging Spain in the next WC, Messi's goal vs Neuer, Bayern putting 8 past Barca, and many unexpected UCL comebacks in the quarters and semis.

Mandem putting istanbul in goosebumps. I swear to god man. Did you see that milan team
Absolutely criminal that Liverpool side beating that god squad of milan after been 3-0 down at half-time, dudek too copying grobbler doing the legs on the pens and that double save in extra time against Shevchenko. Easily without a shadow of a doubt in my mind the greatest game of football I've ever witnessed. Bearing in mind too its a champions league final not group stage or last 16, not even a semi it was at litterally the biggest possible stage in club football.
as per usual they’re baiting out their shit ball knowledge
Istanbul not being in the top tier is actually madness. Look at the line up for Milan and the line up for Liverpool. The Reds had absolutely no business winning that game from the start. Half-time? Impossible. To then go on and win it, that is the definition of a moment, the definition of goosebumps, the definition of a magical, freak instance of footballing history.
It only matters to to Liverpool fans 😂 the rest of the world remembers it as the day milan was robbed
@@siphobanda1707 it’s about the moment tho. You could say Drogba’s header only matters to Chelsea fans. United CL win & treble only matters to United fans. the barca team that played chelsea is known as one of the greatest teams of all time... we havent seen a more dominant bayern team since that one.. If liverpool go up so does Chelsea

The crazy thing is that the final two years later, Liverpool were actually the better team and Milan won.
Not even Spurs could've bottled a tier list this bad man. Liverpool's Istanbul is easily the biggest UCL comeback moment in history of football, then the Chelsea UCL moment is big as well, for those two to be snubbed is a deep sickness
Istanbul final is the greatest CL final in history, so how can it not be the best?
Best football moment : Dirk Kuyt scoring the first goal in his last game for Feyenoord, scoring a hattrick in this last game of the season, the game that made Feyenoord champions again after 18 years

They dont know football these guys
Facts
Fax man it’s acc so annoying. Faysal is just such a salty guy towards Liverpool idk why and star player the Liverpool “fan” is less of a fan then them man in school that used to come with the different jerseys every week
The problem with the pod in general is that these guys are “FIFA” generation fans. That’s fine because that’s their demographic but it means a ball knowledge comes from a video game. I would be shocked in these 4 have racked up 30 live game views between them. I’ve only been to a couple so that’s not a dig but I just think that it demonstrates that these guys are very young and very narrow viewed on their perspectives. They are also very London centric, getting in someone actually from Manchester or Liverpool once in a while would add some authenticity. I mean having a London based Madrid fan is just weird.
They always give so much disrespect to Liverpool and especially Gerrard.
As an American who likes football but doesn’t follow it too much I love this Pod. Feels like my football knowledge and context goes up a little with every episode. Keep it up👌🏾
I think you guys have a different approach to the word "moment" for me. One second your talking about a whole season league win compared to a header scored by Drogba. You consider those both moments. I don't. The moment is the Drogba header, the achievement is leceister winning the league. Trent Alexander Arnold corner kick. Ronaldo free kick, aguero goal. Those are moments lads.
A moment is not limited to one literal second. A "moment" is a span of time for which one whole event happened. A moment in time can be a century or a second, its just an encapsulation of a concept within time.

And the Barca vs Lfc match has got to be in gave me Goosebumps, no salah and no firmino etc and scoring 3 goals against Barcelona second half in what 20-30mins. It is kind of hard to rank because only liverpool fans know how that moment felt...
Fax, istanbul almost leaves me in tears every time I rewatch it and the Barca comeback was the best game I ever saw (was 3 when Liverpool beat Milan)
roma s comeback the year before is a bigger achievement
@@backbreacker We are not talking about achievements we are talking about moments and the stakes were also very high in the Liverpool vs Barcelona.
The Barca Liverpool one's in a good category tbh. Let's be real all these moments gave us goosebumps when we watched them live but they've just named them different categories so we can rank them. I think there have been a few comebacks like Liverpool's that all deserve a similar ranking. Like for me that Moura hattrick is even more unforgettable (as a neutral in both games). They should've had more moments to put alongside that Liverpool Barca game because its not on the level of the Barca PSG game or the Chelsea 2012 Champions League but there are other more similar moments like the Moura hattrick that weren't in the video.
@@backbreacker Liverpool's comeback was in a semifinal which resulted in a win in the final for Liverpool, whereas Roma's comeback was in a quarterfinal which resulted in a semi final which they went onto to lose against Liverpool.

Now let's look at the Liverpool team. Hands down the biggest under dog story in my life time. Nothing comes close. That Milan team in todays market are worth billions upon billions. Chelsea final is no way near.
Agreed
Yeah but Liverpool are a massive establishment club, them winning a CL is a bit boring, it's par for the course. Most City fans at the time grew up thinking their team will never win anything, they they win the league against their massive neighbours in the last second, without question the best
@@ironheade22 context matters pal. Liverpool was an average team with average players in that season, they shouldn't have been any where near that final. To beat that Milan team full off Balon D'or contenders from 3 nil down at half time is nothing short of a miracle. Gerrard, Alonso and Carragher carried that team... they even had to sub of Harry Kewell in the first half due to an injury. Everything was against them at half time...
@@ConTheDon90-7 The goals in the second half happen rather early though, still 30 mins of normal time left then 30 mins extra time as well with nothing changing, then winning on pens, a more spread out feeling. Milan vs Liverpool was clearly the greatest moment. I’m a City fan btw. For me it was agueros goal but looking at it as a beautiful perspective Liverpools was better.
I rate the Barca comeback vs PSG highly but the fact that Barca were knocked out the next round & it never lead to anything makes me think it can’t be put up that high. Also, I think that’s why Neymar left after that season bc he saw the next morning that all the papers were talking about Messi, when he was the star that day
Nah cause its about the moment. Its like the Liverpool and Tottenham comebacks. Liverpool won the final but for me that Moura hattrick will always be more memorable (they're both unforgettable moments so I'm not taking anything away from Liverpool).
