  • This was my mother's song, I remember when I was 4 years old, back in 1992. every Saturday morning she played it so loud that my sister and I could not sleep. Bon jovi's music always gave her strength and today I understand why! She died in 2011, rest in peace mom, we love you!

  • Keep The Faith is so underrated by today standard. I know it did pretty decent back then but somehow this is not considered a rock classic by many people. Sick baseline, catchy chorus, great lyrics, amazing guitar solo and not to mention that this is the song/album that saved Bon Jovi back in the day. This is when Bon Jovi decided to go for something more rather than just being known as a commercial band.

It surrounds my thoughts about living in America hearing all the bad things that happens in America, my experience in war in "Nam, Desert Storm, and now Iraq and Afghanistan what soldiers experience believing in patriotism only to find leaders who don't give a damn about us only their self interests and not our lives, we have to "Keep the Faith".

I love them and adore the man. Unfortunately his voice is suffering tremendously, obviously for a combination of reasons and it pains me to see footage from his latest US tour. I am Greek and saw them back in 2011 in Athens, it was a dream come true.

When I watch this, I see and hear five guys reenergized with a lot of experience and ready to write another chapter. In times of grunge, they have changed, but still remained true to themselves.

  • In the uptake of grunge, not many understood or accepted the massive change in Bon Jovi style. However, massive change was required to keep melodic rock a thing. I feel Jon Bon Jovi successfully saw the future and not only transitioned the grunge period, but outshine it. Not just a masterpiece, but a definite shout out that melodic is still king. Shame some massive 80's stars couldn't react the same way. With a great songwriter, beautiful bassline and amazing full on-influential drummer, Nirvana were a top band. However...Subsequently, years on Bon Jovi proved to be far superior and still relevant.

  • Was washing dishes when this song played in Spotify and all I can say is, in the midst of all the negativity we all experience everyday this year, small or big, personal or not, in everything people went through, in all walks of life, whether you're hurting now, in pain, or neck-deep in problem, or you are lucky that you're not anyone mentioned above, whether you're washing dishes, doing your business in the bath or whatever, and you just got hit by life and got reminded about every little thing you don't want to look at or all those negative things in life, even if you are the perfect definition of what the lyrics below mean, "I've been walking in the footsteps Of society's lies I don't like what I see no more Sometimes I wish that I was blind Sometimes I wait forever To stand out in the rain So no one sees me cryin' Trying to wash away the pain" Just remember...Don't falter. Just remember this song, this title, and what it stands for. Just Keep Your Faith. And damn well it did remind me. Every. Single. Time
