  • Another trick I found to get to those banjo bolts on the K24 instead of grinding down a spanner, you can cut a slot in the top of the bolt for a big screwdriver. Then use a long series flat head screw driver bit for the socket rachet.

    • 4uattros4 I have a 02 Audi A6 and I agree with you I think it's a reliable car I've had to do some maintenance and upkeep but for the most part has been a great car that has a 168k. She runs great I'm having a little problem with the Boost but I'm kind of narrowing it down from other videos it's like I need to check that throttle body boots and replace its necessary and some of my intercooler lines need to be replaced and then I'll go from there hopefully that will solve the Boost problem

      @yusufabdul7147@yusufabdul71474 жыл бұрын
    • Yusuf Abdul if you are able to, take a peek at both your lower intercooler hose that come from the turbos. They sometimes go bad because the se exposed to the elements at the bottom of the car. After you checked all the hoses and know that you have no leaks check your n249 valve it may be causing it may be keeping your waste gates open. Let me know how it all goes when you check it all.

  • Nice job. Did you silicon the gasket to the turbo for the oil return line? I couldn't tell. If so, here's a tip. When you silicon gaskets in place, always put the silicon on the part that is removable. In that case, the oil line. It's much easier to scrape it off the line them the turbo, on the case it needs to be replaced. A better example of this would be water pumps that take paper gaskets. Ive spent hours scraping om blocks because someone glued the gasket to the block and not the pump. Just makes life easier for whoever removes it. That person could be you.

    @rbjoseph25@rbjoseph254 жыл бұрын
    • Hey man thanks for the tip. I actually just dab a bit of oil which helped the gasket adhere and stay in place while I attached the oil return. What you said about the silicon makes a whole lot of sense though and I’ll make sure to keep that tip for the future.

    @jeansamueltoupin2001@jeansamueltoupin20013 жыл бұрын
    • Hi, I did make it myself. I used the central valve from the breather system and then used 3/4 inch hose to run to the valve covers and crankcase vent. I also cut off the connectors from the old assembly and use them on the new hose. I also deleted the f hose. sorry it is hard to explain in text lol. Also it’s for sale if you want it since I won’t be using it anymore. just $10 and shipping.

    @jerrycaille@jerrycaille3 жыл бұрын

    @alev8@alev84 жыл бұрын
    • Ale V8 Thanks! For these turbos you’ll need downpipes with an rs6 flange. Most new downpipes for this car come with a universal flange that will fit the k24/rs6 turbos and a k03/k04’s as well. And these are a direct bolt on for the 2.7t. All you need is new downpipes and new inlets. And maybe a built motor or a very conservative tune 🤣
