Who wishes we still had real rap like This? This is doper than dope!
We
We do right here THANKS to NICOLA
all you have to do is look beyond the mainstream. rap now is better than ever.
we have rap like this just find it ;)
Hell yeah
Dude. I've been a DJ for like three decades and there's stuff on this list I've never heard. This is all fantastic. Legit underground. Thank you!!!!
Word
Real 90s rap was far more than just biggie and Tupac , not many people remember that .
Been on the joint since 79
Exactly. People can love Big and Pac but there were so many dope artists that deserve to be listened to
Big L
Bruh...these a lot of these mc would eat biggie n pack food in a cypher I'm just sayin Mainstream heats are one thing...but the underground at this time was straight up cage fighting 😂 all focus on bars and story telling 😂 nothing flashy just dunks real aggressive on the bests those celebrities didnt care more about the craft than the actual underground it self Im originally from Philly n I've heard stories of big l coming to north Philly to get better from Philly's underground scene by cyphering and battling The underground is what the streets call hits...biggie n pack were unfortunately manufactured by the people around them Underground artist don't allow such a thing to take place
Yeah trusay. Pac had Suge behind him and Biggie puff daddy. Throw that kinda money at some of these mc's and they would blow up Huge!
90's hip hop is another level.i can't live without listening this real hiphop.missed this era..🎧
Facts... I remember listening to 9th Wonder when I was in college. The J.U.S.T.I.C.E League always had hits.
actually the first song was released in 2010 lol
This is fucking true bro... ❤🔥
Please check out the music on my channel..❤
Stop capping. U probably started listening to hip hop 2 years back. You are from India.. hip hop only started gaining popularity probably 5-6 years back.
The first track is like drinking a cup of ice cold water in the scorching desert. So refreshing.
I want to go back to the 90’s. Compare this to todays stuff and it kills me. Can’t even call it Hip Hop. 90’s Hip Hop forever!!
To all these comments saying they wish real rap was still around or something along those lines. Real rap never died, it’s just not played on the radio it dwells in the underground where some of the best MCees alive be releasing new music just like this every day.
Facts
Oh! I love the beat ,the tempo, the old and most liked songs help me remenish my past!lm 53 yrs old now,,listening to this reggae really and absolutely complete my day! Thank you!
I forgot how emotional these songs made me feel . Music all genres has the Power and emotion to take you back in time.....
New Jersey Drive-- one of the all time greatest underrated movies of the 90s... Ya'll new kids don't know nuttin' bout dat.
Seeing that pic makes me want to watch it again, been years.....great soundtrack, especially this track kzhead.info/sun/hsiHptaBnWSghYk/bejne.html
More, more and more obscure tracks, please. Live and die for 90s hiphop. Pure, unchained, free untethered energy. Diamond in the rough.
Indeed
as a guy who primarily/listens to heavy metal and alt rock, I will always love oldschool hiphop/rap
You may like Denzel Curry. He enjoys Metal and has an awesome cover of Bulls on Parade
@@pshoesI'll check them out
I am a metal enjoyer, even heavy heavy metal. 90s hip hop is absolute fire. You got good taste lol 😊
I love that you're posting old school with some different flavour than all the typical classics we hear over and over.
crazy that only like 20% of these song are available on streaming services, they're straight up killing access to this kinda music
Yep. When I heard the 3rd track by Mop Top I immediately tried to add it to my Spotify hip hop playlist. Not there smdh. This type of underground shit should be protected in a consolidated spot so it doesn't get lost forever. Playlist is so dope
@@backhandbobbyfisch thats the exact same one i tried to find, such a shame
Graffiti writer from Houston here, just had to comment and give props, this mix stays on repeat when I’m hitting the sketchbooks and comes with me when I’m out doing the real deal. Track selection is straight 🔥
While im here, don't you all enter get sick of doing the same old shit every day? All graphitti art looks exactly the same, it's just the same stylized writing over and over. I don't get it.
This is gold! Especially Da Grassroots - price of livin and HDM - Real Mc's. Can't stop listening to it.
One of the most legit HipHop head out here. 💯
Good luck to everyone trying to become a artist one day I wish the best to all of u. 🥰
bring back mad memories. the feeling you get from listening to this just proves that music holds frequency/energy... Such a nostalgic feeling
This hits HARD! Thank you for this great mix!!! 🎉
Love this collection, reminds me of my childhood growing up, just a breath of fresh air against today's auto tune content
I'm a real hip hop fan (Higher Infinite Power, Healing Our People). Thank you for posting this.
Love from India. I'm blasting on my headphones at work today. Crazy deliveries!
215 Asasinz were unreal. Straight heat.
I just stumbled across this playlist & it really made my whole night. This is what hip hop is missing today. It is a shame that music has evolved into some bs.
It goes across all genres imho, it's all bunk now
Daryl, check out POOR RIGHTEOUS TEACHERS.... Rock dis funky joint. You're going to want to listen, at least 10 times in a row. S***.. I think it was 84
Welcome to hollywood
90s were the best era of HIP HOP
WHAT A BREATHE OF FRESH HIP HOP AIR. AWWWW ! I LOVE THIS . I JUST FOUND THIS CHANNEL. NEVER HEARD SO MUCH UNDERGROUND HIP HOP IN MY LIFE. 😁
Your selection is second to none. Also big props for including classic Toronto tracks.
Couldn't find a mix better than this one to concentrate on my to does! Finest mixes are here with Nicola💥🔥
Some of the songs i couldn't find even on Soulseek, that's when you know you're into some really underground shit. This is a insane mix. Thank you for this.
215 Asasinz : la guerre totale! Total War!!! I'm mesmerized! How could I have missed this jewel? 🤪😛🤯 Many thx Nicola!
Pure, independent, under rated and raw true hip hop! I'm glad I grew up in the 90s - peak of hiphop!
How this has not got more views than it does I’ll never know…
Damn, completely forgot about some of these. This link is a treasure. Makes me think about chillin with the homies listening to “Smoke On” in homeboy Kiko’s garage with the gravity bong made with a 2 liter and 5 gallon bucket. Those were the days.
Step back in time listening to these sick old school jams.Damm I miss the 90s so fucking simple back then.💯🔥💯🔥peace 💯
Blessed up for bringing back the golden age of Hip Hop! You’re playlist is so 90’s, so NY, so grime, so brilliant... And thanks a lot for enriching my knowledge of Hip Hop ever single time! Blessed up

as a young man who got introduced to hip hop from east coast emcees this is kinda mix helps me easy into my 30's knowing that to be a head you have to search out the knowledge. this is an era that birthed a generation of resistance. keep those walls painted and b boys spinning. hold up the pillars yall
Hip Hop Don't Stop.... The Oldskool will never die...
If there ever was a KZhead channel that comes to life it's this one.

Cheers @NicolaArmellin these old-school tunes are just too good!
Just got home from seeing Pete Rock live in ma home town. Absolutely everything true hip hop should be, just like this mix. Happy hip-hop head 😁
I'm now a 44 year old blonde, white man, with a pointy noise, who appreciates all types of music. In my teens, I loved 90's hip hop. Being a suburban/rural person, I was never exposed to underground hip hop, obviously. As soon as I heard the first beat in this mix, my head started bobbing. Good stuff. Today's hip hop is empty. This stuff is not. (FYI, I'm one of those white guys with rhythm, haha)
отрабатывай очко перед неграми, белый мужик
Respect bro, glad that you appreciate all types of music and recognize the reallness!! Yeah todays crap even the pop music sounds so dead and low vibrational, wont catch me listening to any radio STRICTLY USB 😂😂I'm 46 black guy from UK London, used to go out raving to jungle/drum & bass back in the early 90"s whilst playing house/garage on pirate radio stations, miss those days, still have my all my vinyls so can relate to appreciating different music types. Respect for leaving a comment 💙🙏🏾💙 stay blessed!! 👊🏾😎
Can't get enuff straight banga son !!!!!!

This Playlist is perfect. Takes me back to the house parties I was going to in the mid to late 90s.

I miss the good old days
Wow! These old school hip hop tracks are fire🔥! I love the beats, the rhymes, the flow and the message. They don't make music like this anymore. These artists are legends and pioneers of the genre. Respect to them for keeping it real and inspiring generations of rappers. Thank you for sharing this amazing playlist. I'm jamming to it right now. Old school hip hop forever!✊
