Every generation seems to reminisce about 'the good old days'. I'm 56 and I long for the simplicity of the 70's, but he 90's was the last generation we enjoyed without cell phones, the internet and social media taking over people's lives. I've been on a 70's music binge for the last few days and now I'm on a 90's binge. I'd forgotten how good the music from this decade was. My binge continues...

This song reminds me of my love who left this earth a little over 3 years ago. We met in 2006, had a crazy connection, broke up in 6 months, then reconnected 6 months later after his cancer diagnosis. We were friends for the next 7 years, best friends in the last last 2 and I was there for for him and the end. I miss him so much.

I hate to say this...I really do. I've been listening to Live for ages. I've never seen this video. In my days, MTV actually had videos, but over time, they kinda faded out. The radio was still cool and CD's were an absolute must. Here I am, admitting to never seeing this video. I love the video as much as I love the song. Can I pretend that this is just a new release and great music is making a serious comeback? hahaha!!
2024 and still listening .whos with me
The distance to here - great album!
One of the Best álbuns
Oh yeah
One of the best albums!! ✌🏻😊❤️
I saw them with Bush, for a second it felt like it was the early 2000's and my existential hate was irrational.
One of the most underrated voices in music. This man pierces your soul. The drummer is magic.
One of the greatest songs ever written and recorded. I listened to Live in the 90s and I still listen to them in 2024. Great music never dies!
👏👏👏👏
Bring back he 90’s in every sense, I miss everything about it
Me too. Now its 2024
I have the same thought once a week
I do too. I loved the music from the nineties
My thoughts daily.
80s better
R.I.P. The 90s.........God do we miss you.
+ryanjofre was born 9/9/81 and I miss the mid nintys really bad lol..
+ryanjofre the years girls actually looked around instead of to their smartphones
I prefer the 70's and the 80's as far as I'm concerned.,😎
+ryanjofre interesting that it was uploaded 10 years after release
+ryanjofre Τhe 90's are overrated tbh. The 70's-80's were the shit. Also this decade seems very promising :)
Listened as a child, listened as a teenager; and now as an adult. Real music never dies off
amen to that!!! Hard to find music like this anymore!
Same!!!!’
I don't know how Andre Agassi went from being a world-class tennis player to Leading this band, but Jesus he's a fucking genius
😂😂😂
27odd years seen the band two days ago in Melbourne still as good as back then rock gods🙏🙏🤘🤘
It's 2020, and I still believe this is one of the best, most underrated rock bands in history!!
😀😭
And CREED Also !
one of my favorites
Rip the 90’s :( now days it’s who can drink the most lean and try to rhyme...
My favorite of theirs!

These kind of songs need to come back. Please PLEASE 90s come back. With everything coming back this music needs to
I was locked up in prison, my early twenties, and this song, this band helped pull me through! 🤘 Never been back...
Well done.
Good on you , proud you made it couldnt have been easy that makes you stronge, good on you . I bet you helped others too. 👌👍👍🙂
My dad's favorite song. We played it for his funeral and it still makes me tear up when I hear it.
Sorry about your dad.
He has good taste 👍🏻
👏
Damn. Sorry about your loss. Your dad, without a doubt, had awesome taste in music!! 👌👌👌✌
Sounds like a great guy
20 years. The fucking song has been stuck in my head for 20 god damn years and I finally found it. It's over. I can finally rest now.
Matt Devlin most of the songs I save on You tube are like that! It seems to get easier to hunt them down the more I save-KZhead figuring out what I was listening to 15-20 years ago, I think.

Shouts out to those listening in 2020, us old timers and those discovering Live for the first time. Peace all ✌✌✌
I saw live in concert when mental jewelry was released, back when Ed still had hair. 😁
God I miss the 90s. Life was so simple and sooo much better.
Jack Daniel You got that right son
me, too
You adapt or you go down. simple same at it was

so its how you adapting :D
Who's still listening to this day? There music never gets old
My mom used to rock me to sleep an sing lightening crashes and yesterday was my birthday and as I was having breakfast with loved ones this song came on and made me listen remember that song. She passed on Easter on last year ❤️ this band means so much to me
Much love💔🙏
Thats beautiful,
Happy belated birthday and sorry about your loss yeah I always liked that song as a young kid growing up in the 90s it was definitely powerful and emotional I hope that you go in love and peace and I hope it's around all the days of your life soul is resting in peace and that the other side has welcomed her with loving and open arms I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers always💖💕♥️😊🙂
U cute
🙏🕯💞
A true post-grunge masterpiece of a classic
just 90s rock basically, that's how it was
Love is like a shooting star and it dont matter who you are. Sorry these lyrics were laughable even in 99
@prilljazzatlanta5070 "Life" is like a shooting star. And Ed's correct, because life moves so fast, like a shooting star. And once it burns out, it ends just as fast.
the hardest band to search online "LIVE" it's like shit I'm not looking for live performance, I'm looking for Live-the band dammit!
Agreed! Best way around is to type in one of their album titles and go from there.
Oh really? Try to search Big Cock's songs online...
Haha agree
I put live dolphin's cry
Try searching for 'The music', was the most difficult band to search
Awesome band, damn the 90s rocked so hard.
I find myself wondering where all the powerful guitar distortion went. I blame obama.
Adrian Miller The 90's was the shit !! I feel sorry for those who didn't get to experience it.
Adrian Miller YES IT DID!!!!
We were happy and didn't know... 😂
I didn´t expect much from a song called Dolphin´s cry, but this is so good. lol.
This band entered my life at the right time. Mental Jewelry hooked me, and Throwing Copper kept me hooked.
Music from the late 90s and early 00s will always be my golden Era.
Saammmeee!!!!🙌
In quarantine and I’m going back to my favorite era of music.
YES!
same this video is awesome
The same!
Yessss
This band is still so amazing, such a beautiful voice 😍
20 years later and still better than anything put out today
Amen and STILL true in '22
Hear that!
I don't think that's true. It's a great song. Even though it's sparse and formulaic.
Great song but there is so much great music out there.
Nickelback is better
Every time I'm having a bad day I can listen to so much of the 90's and instantly go back to a much simpler time. Everything seems a little bit better
Me too I miss being a kid no worries now life seems to be nothing but worries
I genuinely don't get how people like music in this day and age, no emotion, no tune, no real sounds, no catchy tunes. I simply don't get it.
It is always soothing to go back and makes things so much better, so much Love and so little hate
@@wellingtonaviationchannel634 all about that trap juice

Yep
Got found in 2004....love WILL lead us...seen you Livie..Live...your music is bread for MY life....Prayers From TEXAS.
Live was such a killer band back in the 90's!!
Will kids today experience nostalgia as intense as this in the future?
Every generation seems to reminisce about 'the good old days'. I'm 56 and I long for the simplicity of the 70's, but he 90's was the last generation we enjoyed without cell phones, the internet and social media taking over people's lives. I've been on a 70's music binge for the last few days and now I'm on a 90's binge. I'd forgotten how good the music from this decade was. My binge continues...
Is it still alright. R.H.W.C.F
mj pz god I hope so. I’m now 20 and I grew up blasting this song 👏🏻
100%
As a 17 yr old who grew up listening to their stuff i van only hope so. Because cruising with my dad in the car with this blasting was some of my best memories.
Wow, havent heard this jam since like 2000!! Forgot all about it until i heard it on the radio today!
After 11year I'm glad hearing this song again.....
One of the best songs ever written, in any era, by ANYONE. Period. Pretty much a perfect song in every aspect, a classic, and criminally underrated.
Trinity Yes!! I have always loved this and it’s so outside the music I usually listen too. So underrated.
It really is. But the video is a little weird and doesn't exactly meet the message but the song is one of the examples of music perfection
The Middle eight is fucking genius.

I remember this on MTV, 1999, best year ever.
Me too!!! I just heard this on the radio the other day and it brought back so many memories! High school graduation baby! Lol feeling old
Me and my homey used to play this album every morning on the way to high school after it first came out. Criminally underrated album.
20 years old at the time, and what you said is true!! I miss the 90s.😟😟
I'll tell you an album that's SEVERELY underrated, Secret Samadhi, or as I call it "Live's Angry Album". I just love the aggressive tone they carried in it. "Free love" is a knife through the jugular vein, son! YEAH! "Free love"? I can't afford to add up what you fuckers are made of! NO!
@@coreygella5756 was a great album. I remember late nights taking my girl home and I'd play this, roll the windows down, and turn it up. A few months later I got in a wreck and was paralyzed. I layed in bed at rehab and would fall asleep to it. Very bittersweet feeling when I hear this.
I'm going through a spiritual awakening and this song hits so deep to the depths of my being I get chills and surges of energy up and down my body. These guys kick ass!!! I haven't heard this in 15 years. I loved the 90's these guys are spiritual warrior poets

I stumbled across this band's music last year, and I can't get enough of it. I love pretty much everything I've heard from them so far.
I've loved them since I first heard them in the 90s. First saw them in concert in 2019 I believe, and it was the most beautiful musical experience of my life. I always get emotional at concerts but theirs really hit me hard because their music has very significant personal meaning for me.
@@sandrab1189It probably wasn't the band, but Just ED K. I have seen them many times and along with Blue October, always good shows. Can I ask you if you know what the hell any of his songs mean? Has he ever talked about the lyrics? When I met him I asked what the word water meant to him, he pretty much said life. I still have a hard time breaking down the entire songs though....any thoughts?
There is no rock like 90's rock. I find myself in lockdown reliving my youth through the wizardry of KZhead.

Oh yea! Song brings tears. Thoughts of past love lost.
I swear, the end of the 90s brought us some crazy music videos. Live, Blink-182, Lit, and the list goes on.
Lit! Hell I haven't heard that band name in a long time
James Heesterman They still do live shows and what not, but they recently started doing country music. They're kinda slowing down these days, but they still rock out. I still love their song Miserable.
Yeah that was always one of my favourites, A Place in the Sun was just generally an awesome summer album
Throwing copper was one of the BEST albums of all time.
But this song is from "The Distance to Here"
The older he gets the better-looking he gets this song means so much
This is one of my favorite music videos, it will always be, I felt in ecstasy everytime it played on MTV back then, I'm really crazy about it! And Live is in my opinion a very underrated band.
