To start this is a super LONG video. If you don't have the patience for long videos DON"T WATCH IT! This is for people who might be thinking about getting into 3D printing and purchasing this particular printer and what it takes to get it up and running and starting in 3D printing.

  • Surely the Best video. Very Detailed and Informative, especially for beginners like myself. It is a must for all new beginners to see and learn the full process, not only how to set the printer, but even how to use the Slicing Program. Well done and keep up the good work. A Big Thank You.

  • Great video, have just got my Prusa Mk3S+ and have it out the box but haven't plugged her in yet, your video is very informative for a NOObB to Prusa, i have two other machines Ender 5Pro and Artillery X1 V4 and i hate all the bed levelling that you have to do, and the inferior components which in the end you could have bough another Prusa, look forward to the rest of your video on the Prusa Slicer, have been using Cura and now everyone is moving to Prusa Slicer because they have incorporated all other £D Printer models, keep up the good work.

  • Great video! I just had one thing to say in the video you mentioned this is a great printer to get you started in the hobby so you don’t have as much failure and frustration but in MY opinion I think it is great to start with something with less features and more frustration this way you can appreciate the hard work that goes into these machines. Thank you for making this video it helped me get started with my prusa!

    • First time buyers should consider if they want to do 3d printing as a hobby OR if they want tinkering with a poorly designed cheap 3d printer to make it work as the hobby.

  • Good video for sure one of the better ones I have seen. I just ordered one of these will be interesting to see how it compares to the Raised 3D Pro we have at work. Also using Cura vs Idea Maker. We make parts for machines etc using PLA for the most part and normally leave infill at 25% I think I will like this slicer better will see. I have gotten use to jumping over to Raised site and grabbing custom textures etc. I am planning on getting the Pursa box once I get the printer going and adding the Pie with OctoPrint I have gotten use to having a touch screen. Over all I think the Pursa seems to be the best for the $$ vs 4k for a Raised Pro that is to much for a desktop printer IMO

    • I do like the Prusa Slicer software. I have not tried any others, but it is so easy to use, but still has tons of advanced features if you want to use them.

  • Awesome video , well worth the watch. I was wondering when doing the z calibration is it the live z option you are adjusting while it is printing?

    @Euwanh85@Euwanh852 жыл бұрын
    • I was not doing the Live Adjustment, I was adjusting and reprinting each time.

    • @@seanstraindepot Aw ok I guess when I get the printer tomorrow I will see that option thanks. Is the printer still going strong for you?

      @Euwanh85@Euwanh852 жыл бұрын
    • @@Euwanh85 If you get the assembled one it should be ready out of the box. They do everything at factory. I made the mistake of thinking I had to do it and wiped out their settings before I wrote them down and had to start from scratch like you do if you get the unassembled one. Keep that in mind. Yup still works great.

  • Very informative video! Did all that filament come with the printer, or are some of those extra orders? I plan on buying this printer, although the KIT version so I can build it myself and spend the difference on extra filament. Could anyone tell me, do the KIT and Assembled variants come in different sized boxes, and if so, how many spools of filament come with/can fit in the KIT version box?

    @ragemodegaming7962@ragemodegaming7962 Жыл бұрын
    • You get one free spool. The others cost extra, but the Prusa filament is the best so don't hesitate. They will pack everything in one box depending on what you order.

  • I've watched 45 minutes of the video so far, which has been very good. But I really wished you had included the parts where you actually fixed the calibration during the initial steps. I learn better from video rather than reading. And watching a good hands on video is really good. Especially when it includes troubleshooting on the fly.

  • Great video. I just ordered the same printer. I want to set up my work area before it arrives. Can you tell me the footprint this printer needs to operate so I will know how much room it will take up on my workbench. How wide and how deep? I am not concerned with how high, I have plenty of room there. Thanks!

    @AirbornePICS@AirbornePICS Жыл бұрын
    • Probably around 17 wide and 22 deep minimum. There are cables that stick out from back of platter (which slide forward and back) and on the side, so a normal desktop should work fine.
