I am planning to do a similar build. from what I have found, the 4090 Gaming X Trio is 337mm long, and the case clearance is 336mm from the cooler master's website, which in theory, it is already 1mm too long. But it looks fairly easy to fit the card in your video. Was there any pressure or stress when you were fastening the screws? Does the graphic card touch the front panel of the case? Or is there anything to think about with this kind of graphic card setup that is so close to the limit? Thank you for your time!!

  • I had a NR200 and got a Gigabyte 4090 Gaming OC which is stated as 340mm long. I couldn't fit it, unless I started cutting parts of the front frame. I ran the 4090 outside the case with a riser cable. I recently saw someone fit it into a Meshroom S, so I have that case coming in a couple days. Its smaller than both the NR200 and NR200p and will be able to fit my arctic AIB 280mm. This AIB is thicker than the one that comes with the NR200p. I think the NR200p is pretty neat, you can see that you can fit longer cards as long as you are ok with the rear panel pushing out further. I might regret the tight fit of the Meshroom when they later make a 5090 etc. I also wanted to throw in my 1200w ATX psu, which they say could fit. Albeit it I'm running on the bleeding edge of my current 800w psu.

Mines completed build without GPU, thinking of going with 4090 AIO liquid cool, share your thoughts, thank you.

    @w0bblyd0inkb0ink@w0bblyd0inkb0ink7 ай бұрын
    • 25mm fan wont fit underneath the PCIe riser by a few mm, someone mentioned a mod you can do to use spacer screws to mount the graphics card a little bit higher. I think liquid cooled graphics card will give you alot of pain to route the pipes, and if you remove the cpu aio then it would be really difficult to keep cpu cool with air cooling, there is not much space between the graphics card and cpu. If using the vented panel then air cooled graphics card stays really cool.

    @mehmetboyukbas9537@mehmetboyukbas9537 Жыл бұрын
    • This is to help with the air flow of the GPU. The graphics card draws in air through the side and exhausts it mostly through the top and bottom, so the case is following the same airflow path as the GPU. If using the tempered glass panel then they should be changed to intake fans. I've also removed the air filter from the bottom to improve airflow. And added some fan guards to prevent the cables from falling in. It runs cooler than a ATX case with a glass panel. • I run the 7950X in 105w eco mode, this MB has a limit for how low you can set the fan speeds, you need to run the fan calibration to set that. Top fans seem to work better in DC mode, have from 600rpm -> 1300 rpm. 600rpm is silent. Bottom fans are louder so I used the noctua silent adapter cable that is included with the fan to reduce the fan speeds. GPU cooling is good, and CPU cooling is good, however when both the cpu and gpu are maxed out the top radiator is pulling a lot of hot air from the gpu so the fans on this need to be powerful enough to also draw in some fresh air from the case.

    @autismavenue9223@autismavenue9223 Жыл бұрын
    • For GPU power I daisy chained one of the cables, there was some sheet that came with the GPU showing not to connect like this but for me it seems to still be within spec. The GPU should draw max of 450W and each cable can provide 288W, maybe I'm just living on the edge. I should point out here that there is a huge risk of mismatching the cables for this powersupply and causing a short circuit. It's a CoolerMaster V850 SFX gold, the pin outs for the PCI-e modular connectors are wired opposite to the more common Corsair cables, but it's the same plug. So if you were to grab a modular cable from a Corsair power supply, or if you got a custom 12VHPWR cable from cable mod which is not specifically made for this power supply then it will cause a short.

    • Coming from the dude that has a 7950x Undervolted or on "eco mode" hell just buy a 7700x if your wanting to have a 7950x perform in that range anyways for absolutely no reason, just funny or ironic to hear you talk about $ to performance. and then mock some grown ass man about " oh how you miss the days of being broke? like your talking to some 11 year old little kid. also your choice of music or if you call that music to this video was a depressing ass choice, you remastering a scene from the notebook or are you showing people how to buy high end hardware and build a computer then under volt shit because you don't now how to optimize all that high end hardware, maybe with all that money you think you have how about "yearning for a tutorial on how to make and edit videos with a long category on music choice" @@minkcos

  • Hello:) Is the 850W PSU enough to power this system without any problems? I've read that the 4090 requires a 1000W PSU to run well. Thanks for the video!

  • Not sure why bottom fans are exhaust it has far better performance with bottom intake fans. I have identical build with bottom fans as intake. Temps are never going over 60C for 7800x3d and 7900xtx

    • Any CPU is ok, but you must use a mini-ITX motherboard that supports the CPU.

    • @@minkcos I have a mini ITX with rtx 3070, i9 12900k and 750w power supply in NR200P. I would like to upgrade to 4090 but am not sure if the NR200P has sufficient space. Also, only 850 power supply is available for SFF

    • @@newjerseynomad I'm not sure if it would fit in other configurations of NR200P. The NR200P MAX has the vertically mounted GPU with riser cable, and AIO which saves space so if you have that setup then the right 4090 will fit. There are reddit posts with a list of 4090s that will fit in vertical / horizontal configuration. 850w is fine if you're not overclocking.
