Well, it's safe to say that you should be set for the next decade.
Unless games demand more
5 years Max I think.
How long 4p80 super and 14700k
4080 super*
@@Airman23245 to 8 years also, with low settings, you'll be good 👍
Great video. That was really fun to watch. I like Corsair. They have some really nice stuff. I built my first PC a few weeks ago. I picked the same cpu, gpu, and mobo as you. But I went NZXT with everything else.
Thanks. Corsair is great but they're extremely pricey. NZXT is a good choice, cost to performance wise.
how many cost ur pc ? cause i want to do one but it's hard to choose because it cost a lot of money
@mikysancho512 the total cost of my build was about $4600 USD.
I bought an NZXT kraken Elite 360 AIO and all Corsair fans and planned on swapping all fans for Corsair on the AIO so the RGB worked all in one is that okay to do?
SICK BRO IM ALSO BUILDING MY PC TOMMOW WITH ALL THE NEW PARTS JS LIKE YOURS
dream build right here
Damn bro that’s sick 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🫣😪😳🍑🔥🔥🥳🧢🕉️
Cannot wait to get my build done, to learn at night and working in construction at day lol
Wowzers, this really inspired me to go and maybe build my own PC one day too!
One day, or day one?
Wow very nice 👍
I JUST FOUND OUT THE THING THAT COMES WITH THE GRAPHICS CARD ALSO DOUBLES DOWN AS A GODDAMN SUPPORT OMG AND IT'S ALSO AN SCREWDRIVER OMG
you also have a tuf card?
Amazing 🥰
Just finished a similar build, same motherboard, used Corsair memory, h150i cooler, 4080 Super, 14700k, Corsair 1500 PSU, used a WD SSD for storage, but a 990 Pro for the OS. Like yours, it should last awhile. Took me two weekends to assemble mine. I used a Thermal Grizzly contact frame and Kryosheet as well.
bro what a 1500 psu wtf whyyyy?!??
@@flako_von Because I can, and I'll probably never need another one.
@@Weyco23facts
your fastest ssd should be in the slot m2_2 to be linked to the cpu and no to the chipset. Don't put anything in the slot m2_1 because it will cut the pcie lanes from your gpu in half (from 16 to 8). And connect the second 8 pin cpu cable to the motherboard.
Even at 8 lines, the graphics won't ever be used way that'd ever be limited by it
A LGA 1700 contact frame from thermalright on Amazon for $8 is a recommended investment :) Prevents warping to the IHS and provides better contact and slightly better temps due to the original LGA 1700 bracket design flaws. With a 14900K I would most certainly take advantage! I use them on all of my raptor lake and raptor lake refresh builds :) AM5 too but the only thing from my experience it does is help keep thermal paste out of the weird divots in the CPU 😂
I will definitely check this out. A lot of people have been mentioning the LGA 1700 contact frame being better for the CPU temps.
Dream.pc...super.hightech.components.used.sir
I literally have the same exact v build. Same case and even the motherboard😂
mom, it's for study
Google classroom at 10,000 fps!
bro got the top everything
they need to be 'assemblied' first though, still hasnt done and its been almost 2 years
out of the box they were just as bad as your typical budget devices
WIth the amount of unoptimized pc games nowadays, it is certainly far from overkill if you intend to game at 4k high refresh.
Hi, I am a 12 yr old boy who is building my own pc with a TUF 4070 rtx, AMD ryzen 7 etc And this video inspire me to
love it, would love to know cost of the build. waiting on Benchmark video
I'm trying to determine if I should get a capture card for the benchmark video or simply use the application. It would save performance getting a capture card but 4k60 or 120 costs a nice amount. If I make up my mind, I'll try to get the benchmark video out ASAP.
Total cost of the build I never calculated, but it was 6 thousand something Canadian dollars *before tax.
Not really overkill at all, it is just high end consumer-grade hardware. Next step would be to invest in some proper watercooling parts, not an AIO. If done well it will significantly cut down the amount of fan noise and the hardware will run cooler as a bonus.
you should place the ssd in the top slot (below the cpu and above the pcie slot) for better performance
Yes, thanks for that! After this video I added in my 2nd SSD due to the delayed shipping.
Not really, on this board two slots feed from the CPU, the other three from the chipset. If you use the slot below the GPU you are robbing the GPU PCI lanes. I have the same motherboard, I’m using four SSD slots, but not the one that shares with the GPU.
@@Weyco23I didn’t read his comment correctly. But you are right, you do cut the gpu lanes by half from x16 to x8. I’ve used the very bottom slot, and the slot in the video.
@@xUltimatex Guys, I am a bit confused. I am about to build my very first PC (different MOBO, B650E WIFI) and I don't know why it is important which slot I use - I only have 1 SSD
@@Velcrol you can open ur motherboard manual and avoid the slot that shares lanes with ur gpu, or u can simply try searching up ur motherboard and what slot to avoid.
great video!! 😮😮😃😃😍😩
Most normal corsair fan
Beautiful construction. Guys, I'm also building my first PC, I'm having doubts about which CPU to use, I know that both brands have qualities and defects, but is it safe to go with Intel even though I know that the 14th generation is gone?
go with amd, the 7800x 3D is the most powerful
shoulda gotten a dual chambered case
U assembled it in yo school ?
Yes, I had to for the lighting and equipment plus there was more space to do everything.
Make sure to undervolt or limit the wattage on that cpu
Left everything as is. Will definitely do so down the line 👍
@@xUltimatex in some games the i9 k variants get up to 80+°c which is not normal for gaming loads. The mobo usually pushes too much voltage/wattage into the cpu for no reason
I found this was due to motherboard preset settings which actually disabled intel default settings. Yes, until I turned it off to enforce all limits, I got 80+. I do plan to undervolt soon for benchmarking. @@SkateClipsAndTips

only thing, bend corrector is missing
Nice video but where did you get the money for this computer build
Working. have a job. cut grass or something for money lol
@@DONTTRIP-ik3dlexactly.
Tip: next time don’t press down on the cpu ,let it fall in it self
You should definitely try ark survival ascended because I saw. Bench mark vid on max settings a 4090 could only get 60 fps
I have tried it and I would say the game isn't optimized as well as it should be. With full max settings, yes, got around 50-70fps. I will include in the benchmark video.
damn pc
gabinete aquário era o ideal pra essa configuração.😢
your gonna have to reseat the ram your meant to push it down until the clips go into the notches
I'd go air coming any day
Question for the experts: Is the Corsair iCUE H150i suitable for the i9 14900k?
be carefull because even some 360mm aio cant cool this cpu correctly because it is just that hot but if you already bought the cpu i would suggest you buy a contact frame from thermalright to try and make it a little cooler, if you didnt already bought it i would recommend going with an amd cpu that suit you need like a ryzen 9 7950x3D or ryzen 9 7950x if you dont need the 3D V-Cache because they run way cooler and are way less power hungry.
@@charlesherbert3570 Thanks 👍
How did this cost 6? I just built a PC for someone with a 4090 14900ks titanium 1600w seasonic psu, MSI ace max mobo 64gig ram 7 lian li TL LCD fans for less than 6k.
Canadian Dollars, All items used have the prices in the description. Corsair would be one of the reasons why in my opinion, and that's 6k not included taxes I had to pay.
Hi you indpired me to build my first pc here are the specs, 3070 ti,ryzen7.ddr4 fury rgb ram.And i dont remeber my cooler but its from NZXT
That sounds like a fun first pc build. Make the best of it 👍
See u xultmatex next 3 years later bye we well miss u so much 😢
Noooo :( I'll be back soon once I set up everything to benchmark!!!
So fucking overpowered. It isnt even funny. xD Have fun. I got myself the Ryzen 9 7950X3D plus RX 7900 XTX so yeah. Same but different.
Loving it for sure, this things rips through every triple game out!
no, not same, much worse yours XD
@@xradeckxthe 7900xtx has more fps 😂😂 but the 4090 has more options and better at running multiple things and streaming

I have the same screwdriver. everything else remains to be collected
That's progress! A screw driver can take you to lots of places.
Would this build be good with 98gb of ram?
You can run a whole companies database. Most definitely.
Glorp
I'm gonna wait 5090 and 9950x
That's a good choice, wait a little longer and it will be so much more worth it.
wowsers
congrats you can now play crysis
That's really pretty
In brazil when a live here , all this setup cost R$15.000 (coin from brazil)
NO DONT EVER PUSH DOWN ON THE CPU OMG THATS WHAT THE METAL BAR IS FOR. IF U DO THAT AND U MESS A PIN UP CANT SAY I AINT WARN U
Thank you for this, got a lot of comments about pressing on the CPU. I didn't press it that hard and thankfully it's fine, but next time i'll let the metal bar to its job.
@@xUltimatex thank you, with your hands you align the cpu and drop it in and make any adjustments to it to make sure it’s in, then take the metal bar and shove it down into the little hook.
Thats a lot of cooling paste you used there, no?
I did remove the cooler to see how the paste spread and the paste covered the CPU fine with nothing leaking on the sides or edges.
@@xUltimatex oh really cool that it's alright. I have been told to just put a tiny spot in the middle 😅
@@sunny-vega better too much than too little. The i-9 14900k is so thermally limited. Maybe should have got one of those contact plates for around the CPU.
@mdjl1978 Is the 13th of the i9 also limited? Might adjust my own paste..
@@sunny-vegathese higher end CPU’s tend to get very hot. I would maybe see a video to see how others put their paste on the i9 13th gen. Like he said, better more than little.
Not sure how you’re spending 6k I’m building my first in a week once all my parts come in. I got the 4090 FE edition i914 gen asus z790 F mobo ROG aio cooler and many more top end parts only running me about 3,200
Prices for all items i've used discounted and not are in the description. You can add them up if you want. Quick note that is in Canadian Dollars, and I didn't even include the taxes on top of each part.
@@xUltimatex oooo okay that’s prob why it’s more money I’m in CT prices might be a bit cheaper
that 4090 grafics card is like $2k 💀
okay ur point?
5 months later the RTX 5090 is three times more powerful than the RTX 4090
Well he decided to get it now and play. Which is fair. As for us, we are Waiting for 5090.
I am willing to upgrade when that comes out but for now, this is good enough. I ensured my case is as big as it is for a reason, if I need to upgrade there's space to do so.
Then you sell the 4090 and get 5090 which is the problem

To be honest, it kinda looks like a 'more expensive must be better' build. You could've saved so much money for the same or even more performance. I mean, mate look at that ram. Ram is fucking ram man, it doesn't matter much really xD. On the other hand, who the fuck cares what I think. It's your money and your build. Nontheless, amazing build en nice vid. You're gonna enjoy it a lot!
Will not disagree with you, Ram is Ram! They hype up all this cooling, flashy build quality and LEDs on your RAM for little to no difference! I've been wanting to build a PC like this for years since I was younger, thus, why It was done this way. Definitely better ways to go full performance, maybe even save me some money. This video did way better than I expected and if I can get into making more content like this I'll definitely adjust my future build(s) better. Thanks a lot!
@@xUltimatex Yeah, I can totally understand that. I'm planning to build my first 'real' rig somewhere end of this year. Depending when the new GPu's are coming out. And I caught myself too many times being like: I don't NEED it, but I kinda want it.
@@koek4539 Haha, if a little wait means something better it doesn't hurt. Hope that goes well for you.

Kinda a overkill gaming pc for your first pc.... Good pc anyways.
Dope as this is, it'll be outdated in 2 years pretty much, especially with going for the overpriced 14900k when the 14700k is the much better value.
Yeah man sadly, word of the 50 series is already out and intel releases a new cpu every year. Nothing new. I’ll enjoy it while I can.
What are you talking about this pc will last a very long time.
Outdated, do you know anything about pcs? This thing will be running games amazingly for years, i wouldve gone with a ryzen 3d chip though as i only care about gaming
Ok but going black for this kind of pc should be a crime
Haha, If I ever build another one and have the budget to make a nice aesthetic setup, going for all-white fs.
you got 4090 for cheap
When I bought it there was a huge shortage, I may of gotten it for a bit more than retail.

Really bad AIO choice and thermal paste method. You should have gotten the ARTIC FREEZER III and used the spread method since you're using the 14900k.
Really chose the AIO so that I don’t need so many applications for rgb and fan control. Thermals have been fine, but there sure are many better AIO’s for the price!
@@xUltimatex But the Arctic Freezer III also comes with a non-ARGB version too, and Arctic is one of the highest performing for cooling 13th gen and above.
@@JynxedKoma I don’t disagree, I used the Corsair AIO just for simplicity and the overall factor that my entire computer can run off the icue application. Heard great things about Artic and many other brands that could perform just as well.
