Moon Knight provided us with awesome action, unique characters, and great visuals. Everyone gave it their all into creating the show, and their efforts show up on screen. Oscar Isaac delivered an amazing performance and Steven Grant and Mark Spector. And Ethan Hawke gave a powerful performance as the flawed villain Arthur Harrow. So how did this show come together? Let's take a look behind the scenes to appreciate all the work that went into Moon Knight.
Recreating ancient Egypt and all of the culture that comes with it was no easy task. They had tons of artists and crew members that helped build and paint the sets. One set was so big it took up 5 blocks! And it also had over 200 extras on set for filming. Another set had over 140 pieces of artifacts that the crew made from scratch to replicate the Egyptian section of the British Museum. There is so much detail that went into these sets that you don't even get to see all of it on screen. That's true dedication to your craft!
The blend of CGI and practical effects is a big reason why Moon Knight looks as incredible as it does. Most of the sets and costumes were completely practical, which helped the VFX team reference something real when they did have to animate sequences. Creating the sets and costumes from scratch gave the crew freedom to be creative. The creation of both Moon Knight suits was a collaboration that resulted in what we saw on screen.

Oscar Isaac portrayed his best performance as Steven, Marc and Jake with perfection.
the fact that oscar isaac had a play with how steven should be and with ethan hawks role is amazing
This show doesn’t feel like a phase 4 marvel movie, it actually feels like a good movie made into 6 episodes
whoa... that's a lot of details they're going for... I hope it wins an award... episode 5 alone is already a GREAT episode...
So they weren't actually in Egypt at all? So much vfx. Jesus christ, that's a dream to be working on one of these films. I would pay money to work on one of these
Thats why the budget in this series is low price...
They went to Jordan for some scenes iirc
Oscar Isaac is fantastic actor in this
Oscar issac is a GOD actor
he carried the series on his back literally without him it wouldve been terrible he introduced every single good detail
I didn't even know that they BUILT EVERY SINGLE SET WITH DETAIL TO THE TEA 😵😵😵😵
you have to watch the making of moon knight...they really shot in the desert and created the whole sets...the title is: Marvels Assembled: The making of moon knight Season 1 episode 9, it is an hour of interview from casts, directors, etc... on how they made it possible...
04:59 I love it that you say budapesht not budapest... I never knew that it gets pronounced like that, until I watched Black Widow...
Love the details of the suits, i didn't notice them during the show
Oscar deserves an oscar for his acting 😏
not funny
@@user-zt4ry9yj2dthat’s opinion was unwarranted clown
I just wonder what they do with all those cool statues and sets they make after they are done shooting. Is it being kept at some Marvel museum?
Will be hard to digest but they end up destroying it once they are done with it
@@fanticoo Oh man I hope not. They should sell the sets if that's the case. Fans would definitely buy them.
@@tlahmed not really. Nowadays they be building sets which is biodegradable or recycled to prevent pollution and these sets tend to take unwanted spaces in locations they were shot in. Even if they wanted to keep it In a museum it is very difficult to move a set from one place to another
@@fanticoo Ah gotcha. Where did you read about this? I'm curious now about the biodegradable aspect because I'm an environmentalist.
@@tlahmed can't really remember it was a long time ago. It stated that they are trying to be environmental friendly when it comes to building and dismantling sets.
Was cool when he was reg look and changed in to the different characters anytime to act the part and all.
Amazing video 👌
This is so cool
Best channel ever

Primoroso, trabalho espetacular! Os detalhes da armadura do Moon Knight é de deixar o queixo caído. 🇧🇷🔥🔥🔥

I am extremely curious about the way how they were captured the reflation talks between Steven and Marc. I appreciate how much affort was put in this series, amazing jod So how?
Hope you've already come across that particular BTS vid by now!
Very hard work tbh
I just watched the season moonknight a second time and it blows my mind how marvel series like this, daredevil and the punisher can be wonderful pieces of work and then we get crap like she-hulk lol
nice
Nice
Moon 🌙 knight 🌙 🌚 the things ✨
They didn't film it at Egypt? Wth man...still came out awesome
Theres a lot of stuff that doesnt film on location. I guarantee most marvel films aren't shot New York even tho they're set there
They really said moon knight is street level hero than had two fucking kaijus fighting in the finale
Can y’all make a top gun maverick video?
