I wouldn’t be so sure. Daniel Jones could easily have his contract terminated or siphoned off to McCarthy. Schrager is the most accurate mock draft predictor and has been on point for the most part. The only time I know he was wrong was when the Jets drafted a different edge rusher in 2023 but only because the packers got their initial choice first. I would get a receiver from Michigan in a later round to pair with McCarthy so it’s not doom and gloom

Bo Nix is so underrated. He will be the Russell Wilson of this draft. He won’t fall to the 3rd, but Wilson was the best QB in that draft, and got zero respect.
Peter: Giants aren't trading 2 spots for a quarterback! That's not Schoen s style! They'll either stay at 6 and pick a Guard like ALT, Onduz WR, or Brock TE or trade back for more draft picks like with the hungry quarterback Vikings or Denver. Giants need to lock down the O-Line. But really nobody knows what the Giants will do untill draft day.

The Giants would be idiots to give up all the capital required to move up two picks. If they were going to replace Daniel they would either take best available qb at 5 or trade down closer to where one of the lower guys. 0 chance they give multiple first round picks to move up two spots. Also, bears just paid a CB they probably are not drafting one first round.

The we need more picks world. I would be thrilled to get Nabers, Odunze, Turner or Verse at 9, but we need to build depth. We look good/solid on paper if you only look at the starters, but this is the NFL, death, taxes and injuries. We are a shallow team pretty much across the board. Plus if we only move back to the early to mid teens one of those 4 or another very good player could still drop just a little to us.

Broncos are not leaving this draft without a QB and the fact they don’t have a 2nd means they have to take it in the first round or they are out of luck. They wouldn’t release Russel to not get a replacement.

Am I the only one that thinks about what Daboll did with Josh Allen and then looks at Drake Mays' strengths and weaknesses and the similarities to Allen, and thinks this is painfully obvious? Forget what all these other teams have to trade. The Giants have the 6 slot. That is such a small trade back for the trade partner and not that far to move for the Giants. A lot these mock drafts totally leave out the explanation of one of the teams trading. It just seems to be like oh, they want more picks. But they don't elaborate on why they would choose more picks instead of one of the available players. Also they dont compare what potential teams have to trade. Why Giants over Vikings trading up? Giants actually have a QB they're paying currently, even if he is mediocre. But they have enough draft capital to trade up over the vikings and would do that? Not sure about that...

There is NO WAY that Harrison Jr falls to 5. If by some miracle that he does fall to The Chargers, newly hired HC Jim Harbaugh is truly a fckn genius. If The Chargers get Harrison Jr and he stays healthy, their offense will be tremendous. Harbaugh is run 1st and pass 2nd. Thar will make Harrison Jr even more effective.
Frazier is a nice pick, but NOT at 29. Lions need to go with a CB (DeJean/Kool-aid/other) or a DE (D. Robinson/Isaac/Kneeland). IMO
