I say Mr. Snowden is one of the best speakers I have heard, ever. I have never formed an opinion of him because he is not one to share much of himself. I like, very much, that he is for liberty and truth but too kind towards those who would still love to do to him what some have done to Assange. I am no fan of the MSNBC or Williams and any Main Stream Media but I only watch this because of Snowden.

I recently watched a movie ""snoden"" and it shocked me.But most people talk about his violation of Espionage Act but not discussing drone strike that had killed 90% civilians instead of required targets.I absolutely admire him.
He is a hero for trying to defend privacy of innocent citizens.

A brave man and always a gentleman- his address about Lindsey made me cry. He put his wife in the light she belongs. She was wronged- and misrepresented by the press and he righted it in his book and in this interview Whistleblowers generally care about the institutions they are protecting, but he sacrificed everything. First time watching him being interviewed,am amazed at Edward's intelligence and clarity ❤.
I'll admit I never paid attention to him as a person. This was my first experience with him. Beyond all of the nuanced, intelligent, honest awesomeness, this is a very rhetorically effective defense of his case. He hits the ethos, the logos, and then--in that last section-coming in hard with the pathos. And all this with a poetic packaging. He _almost_ brought a tear to my eye.

On one side I think its patriotic, the other side makes me wonder why he fled to China and Russia making this seem much bigger than I'll probably ever know. Regardless he did brake laws.
