    • 2 male tortoises (forgot the exact species) are single handedly responsible for bringing their species back from near extinction. Think it was only 15 tortoises left and the 2 males got their numbers back up to over 2000 iirc. One of them, Diego who seems to be the one getting most of the praise, has just retired from the breeding program and he's 130 yrs old... yup, 130 and was still making babies. Would this be the thirsty you were thinking of? Lol
