What I have to say is if we want to win our first league title in 20 years we will have to do a lot of 'difficult' things, things people just don't think we can do or things we simply haven't done before - When City won their first PL they literally had to keep fighting unto the dying seconds of the season's end - When Liverpool won their first UCL in 13 years they had to overcome a 3 goal deficit against Messi's Barcelona - Chelsea on the way to their first UCL they had to beat Pep's Barcelona at the Camp Nou with 10 MEN - Real Madrid had to score with the last kick of the 90 to go on to win their first UCL in 12 years My point is the challenge ahead of us may look difficult, City are 25 unbeaten at home in the league and we haven't gotten a single point there since 2016, but these are the moments in which champions are shaped and molded.Since the Dubai break the boys have showed maturity to not only to stay in the race but to claim top spot back in the process, I know they'll be looking to right their wrong especially after last year at the Ethiad, have faith in the boys. Let's embrace the madness of the run in.

Im giving myself a little room to be optimistic. If Arsenal had such an understanding of the triggers in the Community shield that early in the season, I can only imagine how much more comfortable they are by now. Plus in the match at the Emirates, we started with Jesus on the right, Nketiah at front, Zinny at left back, trossard on the left in first half. If we're really all fit again, we're primed to cook. Thank you Jivan's mate (and Rohan from the Different Rohan podcast, of course! :D Question (although somewhat rhetorical): Given that Pep will 100% have seen and understood these triggers and strategies, can we reuse them? That said, if he thinks that we will change them, can he prepare for them? That said, if Arteta thinks that Pep won't prepare for them because we won't use them again, will we be better off using them again?! Or...Does this just mean that as we progress in games against each other, the players (both teams) now need to have 3 times as many triggers and strategies than they did in the first game and 50% more for this game? That is to say, in the second game that we played, did the players need to be prepped for what they faced in the first game plus a whole new set too and in the third game do they need to be prepped for the what they faced in the first game, what they faced in the second game and another new set, too? Maybe this is a question for George, actually! :D I know that this is a bit of a mindf**k and probably a rabbithole not really worth going down, but it all leaves me wondering if recruitment is mow as much about skill and talent as it is about intelligence and the ability to constantly learn new things, essentially reinventing the players week after week (remembering that this doesn't only apply to games against Citeh), not just learn new things in one big lump at the beginning and then just small pieces after that? The craziest thing to me in this whole video is the stat that only City have more league wins than us against the big six. For anyone still doubting Arteta just go back to the days we were getting clapped against the better teams. The dynamic against the bigger teams has changed and that’s due in no small part to the coaching implemented by Arteta. We can still improve obviously and a win against City this weekend can show that but we’ve come a long way.
For anyone's still not doubting Arteta then just go back to the 2 Porto games and the 2 Fulham games when we failed to beat their 10 men at home and got spanked by them away. You're welcome xx

I’m just hoping Arsenal get the right balance in the level of respect they give Man City on Sunday. Arsenal need to dominate their match ups and use that to grow into the game. If we can do that we can start to dominate and punish them before Pep try and regain control with his subs. When we are on top we can’t give them back control we have to keep our foot on their necks and kill the game off.

It’s not about the squad. I know we are capable. But I am nervous because of the match official. Anthony Taylor is the referee. He is a Liverpool fan. How the hell is he officiating a game between their title rivals. Also he has been called out for making many bad decisions in the recent times. Most notably the Grealish run being stopped by him vs Spurs. And the Kovacic fouls vs us not being called out. I just hope the other officials keep him under control.

It's not short hand at all, it's just a correct phrase. I think people sometimes forget that these managers, as good as their English is, are speaking in a second language and certainly don't speak to a native level. I'd argue most of them - Pep included - aren't even fluent.

I say this with the absolute wish to see us get the League and Champions League double this season. Irrespective of what happens on Sunday and the rest of the season, I am happy with how the season has panned out. This team and the one last year (even if full throttle football of last year was more enjoyable till we started scoring a glut of goals for fun) is something one can identify with. Even the team that finished 5th and the one that finished 8th. Watching Arsenal makes one happy again, and that was missing for so, so long
