How Earth Will Look In 250 million Years

According to plate tectonics theory, Earth's outer shell is divided into multiple plates that slowly glide over the mantle. This slowly changes Earth's surface over time by merging, or separating, continents.

    • Yeah at some point mankind will vanish Earth might be around but humankind won't. There's 27 years worth of gold left. The silver reserves will last for just under 22 years. There's 47 years of oil left. There's 52 years worth of gas. There's 133 years of coal left. There's 70 years worth of lithium left. There's 100 years worth of diamond left. Copper resources are estimated to exceed 5,000 million tonnes, since 1950 there has always been, on average, 40 years of copper reserves and over 200 years of resources left. There's 3% of the earth's water is fresh locked in ice witch is melting into the salty sea. TheWorldCounts said Earth will run out of food in 27 years and 249 days. 21 percent of oxygen. Scientists all agree that life cannot go on forever on planet Earth. As the aging sun grows hotter, oceans on Earth will evaporate and the atmosphere will escape into space. The sun will go supernova in about 5 billion years. Hence, even if the Sun does not swallow the Earth, the planet may be left moonless. Furthermore, the ablation and vaporization caused by its fall on a decaying trajectory towards the Sun may remove Earth's mantle, leaving just its core, which will finally be destroyed after at most 200 years. The moon will leave Earth around 50 billion years, not that anyone will be left to say bye we'll pass before it.

    @Electronick7714@Electronick7714 Жыл бұрын
    • The limit for how high mountains can grow is pretty close to Everest. Gravity is the main reason for this. Olympus Mons on Mars is taller but there is less gravity. The other reason is rivers, they end up causing erosion and landslides. So despite Australia getting uppity, The Himalayas will top out at close to Everest.
