GMMK 2 Review & Comparison (96% Pink)
BUY IT. The GMMK 2 is one of the best product sequels I've ever seen. It is better in literally every way than the original, and 100% worth the $80 price tag for the barebones version. The build quality, features, and software are phenomenal. If you have ANY interest in entering the world of modular mechanical keyboards, this is a great starting point. 5 pin vs 3 pin hot-swappable switches, updated stabs, foam layer pre-installed, hefty metal top plate, USB-C connection -- it checks all the boxes. I got the 96% form factor and love it. Barely larger than a TKL and you get the numpad.

Great review, great production, keep it up man. I just got the 96% pink barebones as well for my girl. She's a weirdo like me and likes clicky switches so we're going with Kailh Box Navys for her. Really helpful note about the keycap sets needing to be designed for the form factor, something I gave a half thought too but now will most definitely focus on before pulling the trigger on whatever keycap set we decide. Subscribed, looking forward to more content!

Where did you order your keycaps? Did you manage to find any good alternatives for the "problem child" keycaps?
I got YMDK brand. Affordable and looks good if you get the right set. You want to make sure it’s the “122” key version not 108 when you’re getting a specialty size board (96%, 75%, etc). a.co/d/ectcXOV
