(The fluid medium I used is Elmer’s Glue-All.)

  • This was fascinating to watch. I was reminded of using a similar technique with my grade school students using string, tempera paints, India ink. We folded construction paper, wet the string with paint or ink and randomly pulled the string through the folded paper. This was over 40 years ago long before acrylic painting became so popular and sophisticated like the lovely paintings you’re doing.

  • My friend loves owls and wasn't feeling good today. As soon as I saw the notification for it I showed her. When she realized it was an owl she started crying happy tears because she loved it so much. So thank you for helping to brighten her day 😊💙

  • I agree with many, at 3.45 I think it's amazing. You can always say it's the back of the bird. I mean the wings and tails are so amazing. Once the owl head goes in, I think it gets ruined. Someone looking at it would probably be thinking, they took all this time to make an amazing painting with the feathers, wings and tail, and then just plopped this head in last minute
