Ya it works great, thanks for watching
It works, but be prepared to re-blue everything.

It's awesome watching you give life back to historical pieces like this.
Thank you very much, we are glad you found us and thanks for the support!
Great video....just a tip, there were 2 different mags for these...commonly called old & new. One is 8 shot with square floor plate ( like your original) and the 9 shot like your new one. The difference is in the followers.....that's why your pistol no longer has a last shot hold open and when you remove empty mag the slide stays open. When you then insert another mag ( loaded or unloaded) the slide will close when the mag is fully inserted. If the mag is loaded, it will of course chamber a round no slide racking or slide release required. Makes for fast reloads....it's really a good system. Mauser actually had a prototype in 9x19mm...but military chose the luger there is also a 1917 .32acp that is mechanically identical th the 1910 , just larger. Thanks again .
Thanks we appreciate it, I didn't know that but, on this one the top of the mag release broke, which holds open the slide when empty. Even without a clip it wouldn't stay open. Thanks for watching
Wow, these restoration videos are such a Zen moment. It is so satisfying at a deep level to watch you begin and then complete each step... looking forward to the FN.
Thank you we appreciate the kind words, thanks for watching!

Магазин такой: "Часть команды! Часть корабля!" 😂 Спасибо за прекрасную работу! Все ваши видео неизменно радуют.
Thank you for the kind words and thanks for watching!
You guys get the neatest guns and do such great restorations. Always cool stuff to add to your collection.
We try our best, thanks for watching we appreciate you!
@@TheKinzlerBroshey nice job have you tried to plate with gold or platinum instead to turning it black
I'm always amazed at how you can bring rusty old relics back to life. And absolutely astounded how you can get rounds to travel down that nasty barrel and actually hit something! Another great job. Zk
Thank you very much for the kind words and support! Thanks for watching!
Thank you very much for the kind words, we appreciate your support ! Thanks for watching
Thank you for this video. What amazes me most (apart for your skills!) is the incredible ingenuity of those designers at Mauser. Apart for the hand guards, not a single screw involved! As a Belgian, I can't wait for the FN ;-)
Your welcome, thank you very much for watching! Ya the designs are amazing, ya we are too. Thanks again
A great video as always. Great to see you again, Brandon. I missed a few of your videos, as to I’m in a nursing home suffering with ALS. But gazing at your videos really are tremendous. Hello to Austin for me. See you on the next! ❤❤😊😊
Thanks Martin, this has always been Austin on the comments! We appreciate you so much buddy and we hope it gets a little easier, thanks for watching!
Just found one of this today with metal detector in the woods.. It is in really bad conditions.. But is still in one pice! I will try to do someting with him... Thank you!
Awesome, good luck to you! Thanks for watching!
I like that you brought this nice little beauty to life again. Thanks.
We were happy to do it, thanks for watching we appreciate it!
Another great job guys! A well made pistol for it to function properly after all these decades and the condition it was in. Looking forward to your next video!
Thanks we appreciate it, absolutely it is! Thanks for the support and for watching!
@@TheKinzlerBros Your welcome!
Another good restoration, didnt think the rifling was gonna be anywhere near that good. Look forward to the next one 👍
Thanks, ya me neither. Thanks for watching!
Awesome job! Great addition to the brought back from the dead collection!
Thanks, haha right! It is for sure. Thanks for watching!
Your skill and knowledge always impresses me. Thank you for sharing.
Thank David we appreciate it, thanks for watching!
🟥 Great resto. Curious why you hot blue versus cold blue. I could see hot blue when the final product would be less pitted and more pristine. It's a thin line between patina and placenta.
Thanks, cold bluing isnt as dark and doesn't hold up as good! Thanks for watching!
Thumbs up and thanks for adding the metric values as well!
Thanks and no problem! Thanks for watching!
Very nice restoration! I'm always surprised when it's so easy to get 'new' parts for a 100-year-old gun.
Thanks, its not always easy! Thanks for watching
It usually means another gun had to die so another could live. Just the way it is.
Great work! A very nice little pistol, congratulations on your addition to the collection. I'm looking forward to the new project 👍👏💪
Thanks Max, ya I really like it! Thanks for watching
Beautiful little gun....à piece of history....your gunsmisth job is really incredible....so happy to see your vidéo....thanks ❤
Thank you very much we appreciate the kind words, thanks for watching!
Try taking a piece of glass and wet dry fine grit then wet polish the flat surfaces of the frame and slide. 1500 will make the engraving pop.
Thanks for the advice, we appreciate it! Thanks for watching
I love watching restoration videos
We appreciate you watching our videos!
Thanks for the video, I was interested to see how this relatively little known model was disassembled. I would never shoot a barrel that worn, it's a gamble.
Thank you and we are glad to hear your interested in it. Yes it is a gamble but, we test fired it and it was good. Thanks for watching!
Good video! My uncle has one identical, he used to concealed carry it, for some reason 😂
Based uncle
Thanks we appreciate it, ya they are handy to conceal carry!
Reasons, probably. Small, light, discreet, cheap ammo, easy to use, not so loudy I guess... Yes, some might argue the .25 is an anemic cartridge, but getting shot 3 or 4 times is not nice, whatever the caliber. In such short distances and even more if it's aimed to the face, even a mouse gun can give anyone a bad day. And it does comply with the rules of engagement, considering the reason to use a gun is to cease your attacker's intentions, whether by killing or seriously wounding him, or just scaring the shit outta him and alerting the neighbors.
I’m always amazed at your work Also at the fact these weapons are still functioning as well as they do 👍
Thank you very much we appreciate it, sometimes I surprise myself. Thanks for watching
These videos are great! What do you do with these once you restore them or are these jobs people as you to do? Also what does the WD-40 bath do?
Thanks we appreciate it, when they are customers we ship them back. When it's something we have bought, we keep it! The bath helps cure the hot bluing solution, thanks for watching!
Hey, nice work on that nice little gun. So glad it turned out so well. Congrats!💪🏻🇺🇸
Thank you very much we appreciate it, thanks for watching !
I was drawn in like a moth to a light..great job was surprised to see you struggle with the magazine . Great restoration again.
Thank you very much we appreciate it, ya it was difficult. Thanks for watching!
Is it possible to fix that partial crack and restore the pistol to shoot again?! 🤔 The appearance of the pistol is completely clean and without scratches, the only problem is at the end of the barrel.
You will need to buy a different barrel for it, thanks for watching!
Magnificent restoration Brandon , job satisfaction is everything , you must sleep well at night ! As always , very fine marksmanship , love your work .
Thanks Pete, yes it is! We appreciate the kind words and thanks for watching!
A friend of mine uses a solvent in a ultrasonic cleaner to free up rusted component's. Works real well.
Ya we plan on getting one, thanks for watching
amazing restoration
Thanks we appreciate it!
This was the first gun I ever shot about 60 years ago. Dad had a nickle plated one. I hoped to inherit it but he gave it to my uncle who's house got robbed a couple of months later and he lost it. Along with a model 1894 Winchester lever action with an octagon barrel that I also very much wanted.
Thats cool but, you not getting it and it getting stolen really sucks! Thanks for watching
Best ASMR ever seen. Thx ! you rock dude👍
Thanks we appreciate it, thanks for watching!
Soooooo many parts....it is a puzzle Good job!
Absolutely, thank you very much! Thanks for watching
Excellent job!
Thank you very much!
Aurora's Rat Patrol definitely has a strong reference to Squad Leader. Since they both have to do with WW2 America, the Soviet communist Russia, and Nazi Germany. I also remember this scenario name from Avalon Hill's Panzer Leader, that's operation good wood.
Thanks for the comment and for watching!
Good video. I have one just like it. Better shape. Believe grandfather kept it in his butcher shop. Shoots good with fail to eject sometimes. Quality weapon.
Thanks, very cool! Ya this was does sometimes to. Thanks for watching
Great work, mate. Love your vids. Love the art of it. ✊🏻
Thank you very much we appreciate the kind words!
So much metal has been lost in the form of rust, and yet these guns can still function...
Ya they are built well! Thanks for watching
I need some information. In your process you do not show the removal of the extractor or reinstalling it. It is simply missing during cleaning, and then in place when finished. I need to see how you removed it and how you reinstalled it please. Thank you.
I don't have that footage sorry, there are other videos out there. Thanks for watching
Good restoration ✌✌👏
Thanks buddy!
Another great restoration 👍👍
Thank you very much!
Outra restauração excelente! ☺️👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks Marcio!
Awesome Job 👏👏
Thanks we appreciate it!
Nicely done!
Thanks!
another awesome restore ;) great video
Thanks Johnny we appreciate it!
Heck yes now you have done two .25 caliber guns. One is American and one is German. 👍👍 I like the variety also love that you include the year of production and you actually restore legit old guns not guns that are 20 years old.
Thanks Diego we appreciate it, thanks for the kind words and for watching!
Nice restoration. Nice gun.
Thank you very much we appreciate it!
Excellent!
Thanks!
Hi guys that was a good clean up on this small pistol and you got it in good condition to make it shooting again awesome video guys can’t wait until the next one you clean up
Thank you very much, we appreciate it! Thanks for watching
A better job than some of the butchers one sees on KZhead who use hammers rather than oil to release parts
Ya there are some that are really rough on them!
Great vid as always! Keep it up!
Thanks! Will do!
i love the sound of this gun
Thanks Tim, me too! Thanks for watching
Excellent as always .Brandon
Thank you very much Joseph! Thanks for watching
Sorted, looking forward to the next one, 😎👍
Thanks Cosmo, thanks for watching!
I was suprised how accurate it was with the corrosion to the rifling ❤
Ya its decent up close, thanks for watching we appreciate it!
Hello again boys. Looks a little rough but shoots nice 8/10. Keep doin what ya do. Much respect.
Thanks George, ya a little! Will do, thanks for watching

Thank you very much, yes there is! Thanks for watching!
Yessir, you can shot I said it before! Yes,it's a Mauser but a little ugly too, and I m a german Mauser fan...Marvellous work bros ,your'e awesome! From Northern Germany Ludwig.🎉

Thanks you!
Great Job !!!!
Thanks we appreciate it!
Респект за работу👍👍👍
Thanks we appreciate it, thanks for watching
Can't wait to see the Walther!
You don't have to wait, it's on the channel! Thanks for watching
@@TheKinzlerBros my bad, I thought you were doing another one! I might have a gun for you guys to restore. When I get enough time I will figure out how to contact you guys
I was surprised at the amount of obvious milling marks on the interior of the frame and the relatively rough fit of some components - not what I expected of a German pistol of that time.
Ya it wasn't well taken care of, thanks for watching!
At what temperature do you do the bluing bath? Very good job, I am also a gunsmith, but I am starting with restorations and repairs to my weapons.
At around 250, thanks and good luck with your projects! Thanks for watching
Nice job.
Thanks!
Impecable.
Thank you very much!
I miss you magnet fishing videos
Ya it was fun, thanks for watching our restorations!
nice work
Thanks
чем замысловатее, сложнее, тем лучше? Прекрасная альтернатива этим штучкам кольт 1911 года, до сих пор в пользовании US Army; и с которого сделаны и делаются и сейчас клоны в десятках стран. Русский ТТ включительно.
Yeah some were a little too much, ya you can't go wrong with Colt! Thanks for watching
Nice
Thanks
Nice to see hot blueing. I dont see it often being used.
Ya we haven't been using it too long but, we like it! Thanks for watching
Видео, огонь👍👍👍
Thank you very much, we appreciate it!
Can't wait for the FN!!
Me too, thanks for watching!
I have this pistol in my personal collection 🙂 But unfortunately, it cannot be used due to the presence of a small crack in the pipe. 🤦🏻♂️
That's awesome but, a bummer that you need a new barrel!
With hot blueing are you able to do a high polish or no also thanks for the hot blue tutorial
Your welcome, you have to polish the metal and make it smooth before hot bluing to get that finish. Thanks for watching!
At the end of this totally successful video, I'm left wondering what this operation cost. I have the pocket pistol in the 32 caliber. Haven't fired it in ages. Thanks for the great video.
Enough that is for sure. Very vool! Thanks for watching
I have and still runs great for over 100 years... be well.
Very cool, thanks for watching! You too!
@@TheKinzlerBros , :-)
Отличная работа бро как и всегда ☺
Thank you very much, we appreciate it!
Yesss back again
Absolutely, thanks for watching
Do you ever polish them to make them super pretty again? Or do you just clean and such to make them shooters?
I do polish sometimes but, it takes away the markings sometimes! Thanks for watching
Does the rust remover also remove the bluing?
Ya for the most part, thanks for watching!
Loving the videos and this was another great one. You no doubt have tried a bunch of different penetrating oils but I was curious have you ever tried Mouse Milk? We use it in aviation and the creeping ability of this penetrant is amazing. I keep some in my garage as well and has saved my butt a few times.
Thank you very much we appreciate it, no I have not but, I will definitely check it out. Thanks for the advice and for watching!
“It’s perfect”
Thank you we appreciate it!
To remove rusted parts or stuck parts keep it in kerosin or diesel . It geets lossenup after some time .
Thanks for the tip but, I tried for days. Thanks for watching
An ultrasonic may have helped?
My apologies if this question is ignorant. Why did you not try heating the gun handle?
I tried everything else, so I didn't think it would matter. Thanks for watching
👌
Thanks
Gotta say felt ur pain when u talked, realized it wasn’t no joke
No it wasn't, it was seriously stuck!
Im always curious about the circumstances. What happened to this gun?
It is a subscribers, it was just neglected! Idk how it got that bad! Thanks for watching
Where do you get all of these forgotten rusty firearms?
From online auctions, estate sales, friends, subscribers, customers and sometimes magnet fishing!
Heat maybe help on the mag?
Maybe, thanks for watching
Another great video with awesome content were did you get the avaporust I need to get some I'm trying to restore a couple double barrel shotguns thanks for sharing this with us six stars my friends
Thanks Joseph we appreciate it, you can get it on amazon or Menards. Google it and you'll find a store to buy it or order online! Thanks for watching
What did you soak the gun in first?
Evaporust, thanks for watching!
My wife has one of these in mint condition
That's awesome, cool gun! Thanks for watching
@@TheKinzlerBros hers goes to slide lock on an empty mag, not sure why yours doesnt
