How could anyone think Zhang won after watching the entire fight?
Real count: 1 - Hrgović (two clean points stolen from him, it wasn't knock down, no argue) 2 - Hrgović (puting pressure throughout the whole round on Zhang) 3 - Zhang (took the initiative through most of the round) 4 - Draw (Hrgović took back the initiative, but Zhang did 3 solid combos in round) 5 - Hrgović (Hrgović dominant, Zhang did good last 10 seconds, but not enough to take it) 6 - Zhang (Zhang land heavy, probably his best round) 7 - Hrgović (Zhang was very inactive this round, land only once) 8 - Hrgović (Same like previous round, Zhang land only once) 9 - Zhang (Hrgović had initiative, pressure Zhang till last 40 seconds, then Zhang did enough to stole the round, it could be count as draw also) 10 - Hrgović (Zhang did nothing, without hitting, most of fight on back foot) 11 - Hrgović (Zhang did little more than 10 round, but still nothing) 12 - Hrgović (Probably best round of him, Zhang was a punching bag) 13 - Zhang die Score: Hrgović 117 - 112 Zhang If you count 1st round "knock down" than 115 - 113... Also, people say: "Hrgović was hurt"... you don't get an extra point if you hurt opponent, in order to get an extra point someone needs to be knocked down and counted... Zhang unable to do that... Hrgovic could be hurt 5 round, and win on points... These are rules, you don't count hurt, or pain, or how many blood someone lose etc...

Look at the first round, Zhang just pulled him behind the head with step right in front Hrgovich left leg, so Hrgovich could only go down... But, never mind that, right as a round was ending " just look at the final three punches from Zhang, slow it down and look at Hrgovich's hands, how he defended those shoots " Commentators thought 💭 was, that Zhang hurt Hrgovich, but Zhang only hurt Hrgovich, at the start of the third round - with that intentional flying headbutt that cracked open Fillip's head and that was a plan from Zhang's corner, open a wound any way possible and hit that place, untill it pops up, or it can't stop bleeding - but Filip took those two rounds like a man and then he outbox Zhang!!! That plan of Zhang's corner worked on Joe Joyce - two times

although Hrgović received illegal head shots in the second round and a blow to the back of the head and a pull to the bottom in the first, he managed to defeat Zhang 7 to 5 in the rounds, let's also not forget that this is not Hrgović's best night and that he is a much better fighter than he showed himself to be. .I can't wait for the fight with Dubois to show the world of boxing at its best!
I had Zhang winning the first 6 rounds for me until he gassed out in the middle of round 7 and yet Zhang knocked him down in thr 1st rounds which deducts 1 point to it. So it’s 115-114 in favor of Zhang for me. It’s a really close fight.

Hrgovic did a better job on Zhang than Parker

In what world did Zhang won or draw this, as I was hearing from people... I'm watching a fight and can't believe ( Zhang didn't throw a punch for 2 and a half rounds ) and Zhang is trowing a tantrum for water on the floor, to referee, so he can rest... C'mon man - he didn't have one clear round to won, even first round - it was a pullout behind the head and Zhang left his foot out, so Hrgovich can fall... Just look at the third round, Zhang intentional flying headbutt, breaks Hrgovich's head open, they said it was not intentional ( How, if one boxer intentionaly jumps and headbutts other boxer, it's imidietly points deduction ) C'mon man, they gave Zhang every oppertunity and he couldn't won one clear round, even running away in championship rounds... Enough is enough, now I know why Zhang doesn't want rematch vs Filip
Zhang was outclassing Hrgovic for the first 6-7 rounds until Zhang gassed out in the middle of round 7. Yes Hrgovic landed a good shot in the 4th but still Zhang was controlling that round and edge him there. You still have to remember that Zhang knocked him down in the first round which deducts 1 point to it. So it’s 115-114 or 115-113 in favor of Zhang for me or a draw it worst. Hrgovic didn’t win that. It was a really close fight!!
It’s not that Zhang doesn’t want to rematch Hrgovic after beating Joyce for the first time because he almost made a close deal with Tyson Fury in July until Joyce activated a rematch. Now before the Parker fight happens, Zhang revealed it on the Chinese media that Hrgovic doesn’t want to fight him now because he wants to keep his IBF mandatory position and scared to lose it.

@@MrBri0523 He won’t lose every time against Hrgovic because he already beat Hrgovic once, I got Zhang winning 1,2,3,5,6 and 9. Hrgovic left his guard open in round 9 and used his face to eat those punches which loses him a point in that for his carelessness but I think that round is 10-10 or 10-9 for Zhang. Hrgovic was doing quite good in that round but his carelessness losses him on that. I would score it 115-114 for Zhang or a draw at worst. Just watched this fight again, it’s a really good and close fight with both highly competitive fighters. This fight includes a knockdown in the first round which also deducts one point to it. Funny enough how you’re crying about the knockdown in the first round that it was a pull down, rabbit punch bla bla bla…which sounds so non sense to me. You didn’t watch the replay of that knockout and you’re debating with your feelings.
Hrgovic won the vast majority of rounds. Who can watch this fight and seriously claim Zhang won? How did you score it, which rounds did he win? Even if you go by punching stats alone it's obvious he lost.
Maybe old school amateur points scoring hgovic won, but this is pros. Hrgovic was not in control of anything that happened in that ring all night. A lot of people make the sMe arguments for lara in the canelo fight. They just look at punch totals without any regard f or what is going on right in front of them. Pro boxing has always been 10 point must for a reason.
@@CoelhoSports This is 100% incorrect. I hope nobody listens to this foolishness. Hrgovic was the aggressor for most of the fight. Hrgovic outlanded Zhang by 50+ punches. Zhang did next to nothing for the second half of the fight. Rounds are not won by keeping your guard up and being too afraid to throw punches (or just waiting for the perfect moment to counterpunch). Hrgovic clearly won this fight.

@@CoelhoSports Thats not how rounds are scored in the pros. Landed punches, activity and ring generalship are the main factors in who takes a round. Naturally, there are moments that are hard to score as how to measure quality vs quantity. Then you look at footwork, defense and throwed punches which are of secondary importance. In the amateurs, the biggest significance is given to cleanly landed punches and judges sometimes even ignore all the other aspects, which is why some fighters just dont make it in the pros, while being successful in the amateurs. I don't know where you got all your info from, you're way off. One thing I will agree though, is that people sometimes blindly look at compubox stats, but in this case its too big of a difference. Herg threw about 700 and landed more than 200 punches which is a lot. I cant think of anyone save Usyk and Joyce who throws 700+ punches in the fight. Zhang had about 390 thrown and 150 landed. Herg was simply busier and that is the truth

Hergovic had greater volume of punched connecting most rounds... Zhang had many chances to fish Hergovic when hurt but Zhang coudnt finish.. Clearly Hergovic outpointed Zhang and was slightly the better man 🎉
Had Zhang winning it the first time I watched it, didnt expect him to be so good. That being said, I believe we were all just expecting Hergovitch to run through him, so when Zhang did well, it seemed like a robbery. My scorecard from this morning is as follows: 1. Zhang 10 - 8 disputable, which I will elaborate, but officially a kd so Zhang takes it 2. Herg 10 - 9 3. Zhang 10 - 9 4. Herg 10 - 9 5. Neither 10 - 10 Zhang put great work in the very end, but not enough to take it imo. Herg did more overall. 6. Zhang 10 - 9 7. Herg 10 - 9 8. Herg 10 - 9 9. Zhang 10 - 9 Zhang didnt do enough to win the round clean, but Hergovitch turned away in the 9th and dropped his defense while getting hit with hard flush shots, in which case its common for a fighter to lose a round, so Zhang got it 10. Herg 10 - 9 11. Herg 10 - 9 12. Herg 10 - 9 This time Zhang turned away and started running Winner: Hergovitch 115 - 113 Overall a very close fight but not a robbery, especially considering the kd in the 1st round. Zhang kept stepping on Hergs front foot with his own front foot, and then pulled him down with the punch that went behind the head (while he was standing on his foot). If that was a real knockdown, Zhang would have jumped on Hergovitch right then and there and he knows it. Moreover, Zhang continued stepping on his foot later in the fight, which made Philip move to the right instead of moving to the left which orthodox fighters normally do when facing southpaws, and which Philip himself mostly did in the first round. I think the headbutt in the third wasnt intentional, but that kind of injury may have contributed to Philips weird body language from 3rd round onwards. That 9th round was very bad at the end and if Herg continues having similar moments in the future, it will cost him. Very very strange, but he pulled through and dominated the rest so respect to him I guess... As for Zhang, I believe this was the best version of him that we've seen and that his cardio in this fight was as good as it will ever get unfortunately. Curious to see what will happen in Wilder - Zhang fight and will we see Zhang at his finest, or will we see a man close to retirement as he looked against Parker. These are some of the things I noticed watching the fight this time and personally, I think its unfair to say there was a robbery in place. The right man won on the night and hopefully we have yet to see the best of both

I must admit I’ve only watched 5 rounds skipping through ,, but what I’ve saw is a hammering not close at all ,, the bully was bullied and comfortably beaten in the five rounds I watched ,, no controversy whatsoever.

Zhang landed the most damaging punches in many of the rounds you gave to hrgovic. I agree with people saying it wasn't a robbery but i also agree with people who say zhang was the boss in that ring and little of what hrgovic was doing was of any consequence. It was "make work" for the most part.

The knockdown visibly shook Hrgovic, and after that he was unsteady on his feet for a moment, he fell under pressure and made the fight more difficult for himself, until the moment of the knockdown, Hrgovic looked good and moved well...
That wasn't a true knock down. Zhang rabbit punched the back of Hrgović's head and continued to pull him down. Unfortunately, there's no slow-motion replays.
If it was a genuine knockdown a puncher like Zhang would have finished him and he wouldn't spring back so quickly. Hrgovic says Zhang stepped on his foot, no reason to disbelieve him considering the circumstances.

Hrgovic was lucky enough that the right hook in the first round didn’t land on his head perfectly like how it landed on Joyce which only got him a knockdown otherwise he would be dead and would never get up from that and it will be really embarrassing if Hrgovic gets knocked out in the first round like that. Zhang has the massive power, believe me or not he might hit harder than Wilder because Wilder has only fought bums to be a champ and fury doesn’t have that good of a chin and mostly get dropped by a journeyman. Wilder has never been tested in a real fight with tougher opponents.
