We need a 100 drops competitive, that would be hilarious!

@@leibnizlp665 yeah low trust factor could be hilarious
@@leibnizlp665 get prime its literally 15$ if you can afford a 300$ knife but not a 15$ prime then somethings wrong.
the thing about comp is that you always need to assume the other players are smarter and better than you if you did a cheeky sniper kill in casual by sitting in a certain spot, then in competitive, they'll know you'll be there so, comp is like starting over, yeah, you can still crush casual games, but you'd barely ever be able to do the same starting in comp

As someone with a few thousand hours in CS, toxic teammates and cheaters can really start to get to you in some of the upper ranks of matchmaking and faceit, so this is really a nice thing to see once in a while. A few things to note though if you are gonna make a 100 ranked games video. 1. One of the most important things in Counterstrike is having a good mindset. If you go into a match salty or if you are still holding onto something from a previous match, you won't play as well if you are in a bad mood. Counterstrike is far more of a mind game than a lot of people make it out to be. Having a good mindset going into a game can have a far bigger impact than you might think. 2. As far as weapons go, a lot of people will hate on you for using shotguns or really anything but rifles, but if its working for you then stick with it because you will be a far better teammate if you are getting kills with shotguns than if you are dying with rifles. not to say don't use rifles but don't let people make you use them. Also the M4A1-S is better than the M4A4 and it has a much easier recoil pattern, just don't take the suppressor off. 3. Learning the different maps, especially the ones in the active duty map pool will help you a ton. Proper counter-strafing and crosshair placement are also key aspects of the game that will help you tremendously. Those first require at least a fundamental understanding of the map that you are playing on. there are tons of different community tools and maps to help with this. My personal favorite is the YPrac series of maps from the steam workshop. These all have tons of different tools 5. Utility is another crucial part of Counterstrike, a lot of people especially in lower ranks will often tell you to just not buy utility if you aren't comfortable with using it. However you won't ever get better with it unless you use it. 6. if you have any friends that play CS, than play with them. CSGO is a team based shooter and as such, a vital part of it is communication. Also it's nice to play with people you know and it can make for a far more enjoyable experience than just solo queuing in matchmaking. Overall though it was a great video and a hope you continue to have a good experience with the game, even with the community being as toxic as it sometimes can be. great job and keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing the next video. :)
As someone with a few thousand hours I have to say this is GOLD.
m4a4 vs a1s is all preference
also if u want to get gud with cheats go play indian hvh

CSGO is the best
Cs 1.3 1.5 1.6 source and csgo the best counter strike games
This was nice, what you could do as long matches in ranked last about 45 minutes it that you either play wingman (2v2) or short ranked matches (5v5).
i am so exited to see luke play cs:go man it’s an honor fr, welcome to the cs community, yes it’s toxic at times but don’t worry you’ll get the hang of it, we’re so glad you’re playing
ive been playing cs for 5 years and i just wanna say, you are much more useful of a teammate if you use the shotgun if you arent comfortable with rifles yet, also theres a super cool community made map on the steam workshop called recoil master, it has a little dot that you track and it perfectly controls the recoil
These 100 drops can make a lot of games entertaining. It’s a really really good format.
Me seeing Luke going full mag on the bizon: ah my precious memories have come back
Really nice to see you play cs:go! If you want to do 100 drops in comp you could play short comps since they are only like 30 minutes.
So happy luke has played this legend of a game I'm a cs go veteran quitted the games 4 years ago It's a game that you get good at the more you play it Awp is the best weapon to do flicks with and also the most fun and the ak is the hardest weapon to get good at because of its recoil
the AK is extremely rewarding if you get good at it because yknow... the headshotting
100 drops of ranked would be amazing. Keep up the good work

luke the accuracy and positions you learned here would be great for a Valorant 100 drops video as those are huge things in that game and its super fun. love your vids
I feel valorant would be way easier for him because it has way easier gameplay and predictable recoil patterns that takes not too long to learn. But the community would be toxic and not too fun for him if he gets bad lobbys
Great good to see a new player, waiting for 100 games of comp lol
Good job man it dosent matter what you play with you just need to have fun keep it up oh and just be optimistic thats a good tip for the future if you keep playing

@@Cywastaken it’s not that much for csgo I’ve got 930 hours and that still low end for csgo players, plus comp is just a grind it’s not really about that skill in lower ranks just how much you play comp
Only thing I'd recommend for 100 drops in comp is that you may wanna check out a few basic utility videos. At very low ranks, being able to correctly use even the basic smokes can completely change how your 100 games will play out. There are some workshop maps that show you the lineups as well. I only recommend this because, most of the players you'll play with/against probably wont know much utility.
Great video, I have too much time invested into csgo. It would be awesome to see you experience competitive mode in a sequel!
this is awsome
A 100 games of TF2 would be nice.

Recommendations for ranked, from an LE player: * You can choose between short/long matches by the way now * In the game settings you can adjust how much ping your matches can be I recommend doing 70 and under. * Choose 2-3 maps to learn first, I recommend Cache and Inferno. Dust 2 too if its a comfort pick for you, very populated in low ranks. It will help you learn the game while not getting too bored with 1 map or overwhelmed with all. Cache is a good neutral map with not any nade lineups needed, with many guns viable on it. Inferno is a CT sided map with lots of util knowledge needed, but every gun is viable on the map because its close range. Dust 2 is a T sided map with a bit of util needed, and not many guns viable. So your able to get a well rounded version of CSGO For each map you want to play: * Have a mini gameplay for each round, ask yourself as a T what type of path do you want to make for yourself and team? For CT when to use your utility and where are you going to fallback? Map knowledge: * Learn 2 smokes to throw from cover from on each bomb site as a T. * Learn a pop flash for each bomb site as aa CT retaking. Utility needed to learn for the maps mentioned. Dust 2, T side: * A Long corner smoke * A Long cross smoke * Xbox Mid smoke * Mid to B smoke * B doors smoke from upper tunnels CT side: * A long doors smoke from long car + long flash. (For peeking a long with bad spawn) * Cat retake A pop flash * B doors pop flash Inferno, T side: * B car/barrels molly * B CT smoke * B coffins smoke * A arch Smoke * A pit smoke * A Moto/library smoke Dont need anything for ct side as a beginner Cache, T side: * B ct smoke from sunroom * A cross/toxic barrels smoke * Either Z smoke mid or whitebox CT side: * pop flash B retake * Smoke Garage mid from Z early round * Smoke checkers from heaven * Smoke A main early round from truck * molly quad from highway Majority most of these are common sense like the long cross smokes but some have lineups that are kinda needed to know, especially if you dont have crazy aim to carry you.
A small economy guide First is what to equip from the in game menu: For the CT starting pistol: Use P2000 it has more bullets and its run and gun accuracy is better, its reset time is also more forgiving. I think its better for many reasons, and pistol rounds rushes are usually the strat since there is not much utility involved and the reset time, running accuracy, and mag size is better in those scrambly situations. Other pistols: * Just leave on the tec9 and 5-7. * Leave on the Deagle as well, r8 is horrible because of the sound gives it away plus the wind up. SMGs: For T side use the mp7 it has better running accuracy, more damage, and way faster equip time. As a T you will be rushing so these aspects are better. CT side use the mp5 S since there is no tracers when firing through smokes and Ts might think you have the M4 S as long as you dont reload in their hearable range in beginner level. CT Rifles: Use the M4a1 S, it is actually a bit overpowered at the moment, but the recoil is so easy to control. Its crazy accurate, you can spam through smokes, and its cheaper than the other one. Never take off the suppressor unless your hiding in a very small corner and need it off so you dont stick out. (Very situational) Back to the economy, heres a general guide / roadmap to stick too: 1st Round: T side if you have the 1st or 2nd spawn to the bomb site you are rushing buy armor. You can buy a decoy if you think you can fake the enemies to turn around from a flash, like if you are rushing B and bounce it off the tunnel wall it might fake enemies in mid ranks but not low or high. Otherwise dont buy it. If you are in the back of the spawns buy a p250 and a flash + smoke to help get your team into the bomb site and trade them off with the more powerful pistol. P250 does like 23 damage a shot on armor so thats like 4-5 body shots. But if their lit from your teammates glock you can clean them up in 2-3 body shots. Its more accurate than the glock so headshot are more reliable but not as accurate as usp/p2k. CT side 1st round: * keep the p2000 and buy armor * Or if you are going to play far back in a headglitch spot just buy a kit and 2 flashes So you can repeek it or retake opportunity with the flashes. 2nd round, T win, or lost + bomb plant: * If you won on T side buy a mac10 + armor if you are rushing with the first few spawns * Buy a galil +armor or mp7, if you are the thirdish guy to trade the entries + long range kills coverage for your team. * Last guy buy Deagle armor + util for supporting team and picking up their weapons 2nd Round, T lost without plant, or CT Loss: * Just eco, buy tec9 or p250. Focus on getting bomb plant. Or just zues if you hard camp something. Dont buy armor. * CT side just buy a He grenade and rush with team somewhere, or p250. Only buy 5-7 / Deagle if you got some kills first round 2nd Round, CT win: * Depending on where you are playing, up close buy the mp9. Far range buy a deagle + util. Hard anchoring buy auto shotty or negev. If confident you will live the next round buy famas, just make sure to play just right out side of smg range since it doesnt has hard recoil to control. Make sure 2 of you guys have kits that round. 3rd Round both: * Buy Armor, Ak/M4a1S, then prioritize utility by * 1 Smoke * Kit if CT * 2 Flash * 3 Molly * 4 Nade or 2nd Flash * Dont buy awp just yet wait till you have a bit more money/insurance like starting round 5, unless super confident. Eco/Force Rounds: * Try to keep around $1700~2000ish T side, and at least $1900 on CT side. If you have under that you will have to double eco. Just buy whatever you think you will get a pick with, depending on a mini strat you want to do. Refer back to the 2nd round thing.
