    • @@princeofthomasville5638 actually I have and was staying there for sometime (before heading over to LA and SF where I much prefer) - but that doesn't deter me from thinking that she speaks incredibly fast! I guess for English speakers learning German, that is pretty overwhelming speed unless you're already comfortable speaking German with natives.

    • @@Goeker I know right!! I was forced to stay here in Bonn since Corona started earlier this year and while I can understand my German teacher in class (who speaks slowly to us) I still struggle when I'm trying to communicate to locals.. the struggle is real but we've got this!

  • I'm doing the A1 course now and its superb. I was trying to learn alone but Anja and her course provide a structure that is fun and challenging. I have looked at many methods but I have to say Anja makes it so much simpler. Well, as simple as German can be!

  • I think my favorite thing to learn in German is the nouns. Like, the naming system is great. You can make an easy guess at what most things are called, or figure out what people are talking about just by knowing a few very approachable nouns.
