And yet Steve had one flaw - a bit of green in the blue of his eyes :‘)

I don't think Steve decided not go for Tony's head, he clearly decided to go for his chest reactor. The idea of going for Tony's head would never have crossed Steve's mind. He only wanted to disarm Tony to save Bucky.
Ya
yea. the headshot wasn't even an option in steve's mind.
Yeah, the headshot would be more Tony’s thought, with him flinching and putting his hands over his face, if the scene were shot from Bucky’s/Steve’s POV Steve would’ve simply raised the shield and hit the arc reactor, but the scene was filmed from Tony’s POV, which is why it has that low angle of Steve making him looking more threatening and we never see the arc reactor until the shield destroys it, it’s a very well made scene
Bcoz Tony never did anything wrong to Steve and they were friends John Walker didn't even know that guy
@@maxxysitlhou6266 The purpose of Civil War was to show their non-existent friendship. Well not “non-existent”, but you get the point.
When John said "they were not even super soldiers" everybody felt that.

I personally feel that the scene in wakanda where they get rid of bucky's programming was her giving the winter soldier his last command. "You are free"

Usually as the sequence neared the end, he became more emotionless. I interpreted his crying through the whole thing as he was afraid he was about to start "blacking out" and he never did. I know I didn’t like it that much cause I don’t like blood.
I feel bad for Bucky. He spent so much time in Wakanda attempting to regain his independence and they still put a failsafe in his arm, revealing they never fully trusted him.
I mean long time husbands and wives still get cheated on after years of love and trust. I mean yes its still an issue of trust but I think the bigger picture here is that they just needed to make sure Bucky wont be able to hurt anyone again just in case he loses himself again for some unexpected reason.
John Walker is a perfect example of what Lord Tywin Lannister said, “Any man who must shout ‘I am the King’ is *no true* King.” That goes for Captain America as well. Steve never for a second saw himself as Captain America, never thought he was better or smarter or above anyone else and never saw himself as an agent of America. He was Captain Humanity, he was Captain Life and Liberty… he just stood for kindness and justice and compassion. He was truly irreplaceable and you know it’s true when nearly every single villain he has faced has shown him respect. From Red Skull, to Thanos… they all respected Steve Rodgers. He gave a literal GOD capital G pause and made him fight on equal terms with a mere human, he fought shoulder to shoulder with another god and never let it get to his head, in fact he held back when lifting Mjolnir out of respect for a God! He literally took pity on the god of fucking thunder! Cap was something special and John Walker will never measure up, not even to tiny scrawny Steve from the Bronx.
Imagine if Rocket came through a portal, when bucky's metal arm fell, and saying "i told ya I'll get it"
That would have been the funniest thing ever
Funny as hell
It should be in what if
I was really sad when that one flag smasher died. He seems the most reasonable of them and could've made Karli see that talking to Sam and Bucky would've probably worked out
So, two voices of reason were killed in this last episode 😞
Well, Flag Smashers had just killed Lamar. If I were in the same situation as Walker, I would have done the same.
Nope he was either an ass licker or was too afraid to strongly assert his own thoughts to Karli. I think the latter is more probable because if he even tried to disagree with Karli god knows what that super bitch would've done to him. Least would be Karli losing some trust in him and if your leader's a supremacist, that's exactly what you don't want to happen.
@@IshanKashyap001 nah he eventually would have talked some reason into her as we saw that she can be reasonable
Well he kinda restrained walker so karli could kill him, so that’s just karma right there... although I felt bad when he said “it wasn’t me!” cause he was so helpless
I feel like Sam’s reaction to Zemo saying there has never been another Steve Rogers could also be him thinking about Isaiah.
You think Zemo knows about Isaiah? Or maybe he’s gonna find out??? We know this man is true to his mission with passion so I can only imagine when or if he finds out about Isaiah...
@@trantkerlee4693 I find it unlikely that Zemo knows about Isaiah but anything is possible.
But it would be cool to see his reaction to finding out about him.
@@Hauwwaa Considering Zemo wanted to destroy the avengers and probably the idea of super soldiers with tFaWS context, he probably knew of Isiah, but also how Isiah was practically broken out of being a super soldier as well.
It's not super soldiers themselves that zemo dislikes, it's the consequences they bring, he probably wouldn't go after Isaiah given that he would probably pity him for all the suffering he's been through. Zemo does what he does because of his family, he would probably respect a man like Isaiah whose only wish is to be with his family after being locked away from them for 30 years
11:21 that part where Bucky and Carly leap from the second floor does not shows that Dr Nagrl's serum is more powerful. Bucky was trying to land why Carly was just try to stop him and Bucky didn't expect it, it all started from the balance of which they both jump from. Think about it, Bucky is more experienced and gave Steve rogers one of the toughest fight before.

15:55 : In civil war after knowing that bucky killed Tony's parents even though he was controlled, tony tried to kill bucky (but steve was there to save bucky's life). Same thing happened with John Walker. He was enraged by Lamar's death and unfortunately no one was there to control his anger. Anybody would have done same (wanda or thor or tony).
Steve Rogers wouldn't tho, and that's what defines him
John's pain after he lost the fight was hilarious to me, I love seeing people's egos being broken
The best dialogue from the episode : ‘But there has never been another Steve Rogers, has there?’
I noticed Zemo looked directly at Sam saying that.
Steve automatically likes simple, good people like Sam. It took him a while to warm up to Tony. Bucky was Steve's best friend when he was a scrawny kid. The pre-Hydra Bucky was probably as decent a person as Sam. Therefore, there are 2 people who were not corrupted by the serum: Steve and Bucky. I hope Zemo realizes that. Zemo keeps poking at Bucky as if he's trying to convince himself that Bucky's a mad dog that needs to be put down.
Ahh but there was another
Touché
What about Isaiah Bradley tho...?
Another detail: Bucky still strictly follows the "don't hurt anyone" protocol. Every knife he disarmed from the enemy he just threw at the ground. When he kicked a guy into the wall he left him there to wake up later.

If you notice quite closely, theres a stain on the 'A' symbol on John Walker's uniform. It's sort of symbolic that he's tainted the Captain America name with blood Just figured I should add that
Note: When They both leap from the balcony, i don't think the speed has anything to do with the serum, Bucky vaults over the balcony, essentially going up and over letting gravity do the work. Karli on the other hand leaps over the balcony using her foot to push off and gain forwards momentum, allowing her to collide with Bucky. Bucky could very well be capable of the same thing.

@aRctic but Steve doesn’t let his anger get to him like walker. He kills only when absolutely necessary. In order to save others. That’s what sets him apart from other people.
I'm so happy as a die hard Steve fan that everybody is praising him much more now just like Ironman.
Honestly, captain was slept on in endgame so it is deserved as much
agreed. My fav hero is Cap
@@krishshrotiya in Endgame? Nah. He got the Mjolnir moment and so on.
@@krishshrotiya Tbh Endgame was dedicated to Cap but due to Ironman's sacrifice Cap's spotlight was stolen except for that Mjolnir wield. Cap was the one who was on track from the beginning of the movie till the end. May be it's just my thought as in India Ironman has more fans.
@@sharjuna9311 exactly my point, Iron Man deserved Endgame doe for his sacrifice but captain got his spotlight in this series
Good job wrapping that up! I really like the development of John Walker and happy not to be alone! Keep going
My favorite part of this episode is when zemo says “but there has never been another Steve Rogers” he has a cookie on his finger like a child XD
Zemo is awesome
Dora Milaje vs John Walker was one of the best fight scene in the Marvel History. "The Dora Milaje have jurisdiction wherever the Dora Milaje find themselves to be."
And dora melaje kicks ass! It really highlighted they fighting skills and really showed why these badass gals are to be feared.
the way Bucky is freed by mind control is so heartbreaking (that acting tho)💔
The thing about the Dora using the shield isn’t so much about it being vibranium, but they train in every weapon and small round shields are actually pretty common all over Africa. Wielding a shield and spear is probably as natural for the Dora Milaje as breathing. A cool little acknowledgment of the culture and history of Africa.
Perfect breakdown I have ever seen!!
"What do you want lady? F*cking likes!?" Genuinely made me laugh! 😂
How ironic
Me to bro me to is that wrong😅
I think it was meant to reflect incidents of police brutality in America against the Black community, which has become more and more recognized due to bystander footage. We sadly see so many cases where witnesses filming these murders is the only thing that could bring the police to justice, and I think the show runners and writers are conscious of that. The title of the show is “the world is watching”, after all!
Same 😆
@@lynnep0906 dude really!!!
You can slowly see how John Walker is growing into his more villainous side like how he is letting his facial hair grow due to all the stress
That scruff
And him constantly twitching
@@Dangangela6565 I wasn't trying to counter his point.
Not only that, his facial hair is a metaphor for his unstable mindset. You can see that Steve always knew what he did and that he was clear with himself and by that, has always been shaved. Yes, he had a beard in Infinity War but I still think this theory is accurate
does that mean steve was stressed during the infinity war?
thanks so much for this break down. really enjoying them
You missed at the very end where John's hand is kinda convulsing. It's a damn good call to do that with John's PTSD and anger
Also the neck twitch right before he pried the shield out of the wall, it looked like a nervous tic
After Bucky reattaches his arm, he swings it around. Just like he did when fighting Black Widow in CA: Winter Soldier after she disabled his arm with an electronic pulse.
This should get more lines so that lad should make a video on this
RELOADING.
Testing / Synchronize
The earliest hint that Walker took the serum is his hearing capability was enhanced. He heard someone was up there when they assaulted the building and tried to warn Lemar. And after Lemar has been captured, he stopped and focused to hear where they was.
keep making videos like this and your channel will be on the top
Well KEVIN nice of you to tell us so upfront that your our favorite film analyst
Zemo is very good portrait of a villain. he doesn't use brute force, yet people "bends to his will". He does everything with reasonable action, not too much, not less. An ultimate criminal mastermind.
Yeah, he made Sam & Bucky look useless especially when they were looking for information about Donya Madani.
The moment zemo start smashing those serums i just love the guy
Yeah bro Zemo did the right thing by smashing those serums don't you think? But sadly there was one left ☹️
Zemo smashing the serums is the difference between a good villain and a great one.
I'm calling it, The Power Broker is Mafisto!!
I hated it because I would’ve taken that serum for free
@@jasonmilton It's Mephisto
I think Marvel is preparing the idea of anti-mutant into the MCU starting with Walker holding the grudge and later starting the movement.
Thank you for calling out the Zemo head tilt scene. I noticed it right away and is my favorite scene. The scene also shows that Zemo is scared of Bucky's wrath.
One thing I realised after watching this episode : *Even if you wear the Captain America Suit and Possess his shield, you always remain the person you are, not Steve Rogers.*
"but there has never been another Steve Rogers has there"
@@sulwynalfredo5590 **Sam Wilson with his Redwing enters the chat**
No Shit, Sherlock

@@amnplays3211 Damn it, you're right
"Sam is a good man but not the perfect soldier; John is the perfect soldier but not a good man" That's a really good way of putting it.
I prefer Walker tbh.
@@myeyesbleedblack That's fair. I see Sam and John as almost representing 2 different sides of Steve Rogers. On the one hand, Steve is a good man, sees the best in people, wants to do what's right (Sam). On the other hand, Steve would absolutely do what needs to be done when push comes to shove (John).
@@chrisvossler8795 Walker is not a bad guy, he is just unstaible and have PTSD, Sam should use his skills with Soldier who deals with PTSD on him not on Karli.
@@sgcastle8389 I would say both of them need Sam's help. @El professor A a a a a a a, I agree. John's anger and rage there got the better of him and, regardless of whether he is court-martialed or not, he really can't continue as Captain America. I don't think the rest of the world will be too happy if he keeps the shield. Under the right circumstances, John Walker is the kind of soldier you need. But under the wrong circumstances he absolutely is not the hero you want.
@@sgcastle8389 I feel good knowing that I am not the only one who sympathizes with john walker. I actually get how he felt and knowing that he just took the serum and seen his best and possibly only friend (brother) died in front of him ,most people would've done the same. He may not be superhero material or all good like steve rogers ,but he is human and he's gone through a lot.
you know i started watching Falcon & The Winter Soldier because of your video haha thanks and it is awesome i didnt like wanda vision series but this series is absolute gold i never watch series because its time consuming but Falcon & The Winter Soldier are worth it
Another detail is when bucky checks his phone It Is 3:12 referencing the captain America comic Number 312 where Flag Smasher first appaers
I believe Steve never even thought going for Tony's head. His purpose was to disarm his suit.
Not the airport but hydra base
@@shabeer1008 oh yes, sorry for my mistake
True
This show makes Cap (Steve) even better without even having him in it so far. It shows how much control he had in situations where there was no control.
Sometimes experiencing the negative impacts how we appreciate the positive. Exactly what is happening in this case
@Keeranbikash Patra Bucky is already a super soldier my guy
@Keeranbikash Patra he become Super Duper Soldier🔥😂
