  • “never tell your friends your plans”. I’ve practiced this the last 15 years and it’s been priceless. I don’t even tell my family what I’m doing until it’s done. In my experience your friends are only your friends as long as you stay in the lane and level they want you in. The same goes for most of your family. The only people I’m loyal to are my wife and kids. Everyone else can either get on or get the fuck out of the way.

It's usually subtle and easy to write off but the cumulative effect is huge. Important to nip it in the bud before they become too embedded in your life and do real damage. It's like they dig in to gain leverage and once they've got a certain grip they manipulate to the max. Straight poison

He wasn't doing well and yet all he wanted was us to share with whoever was in need including family. We were supposed to move to Montana and live on my daughter's property so we sent her and her husband money to buy our place. Then tragically right before we were supposed to move my husband died September 19th 2019. They refused to give me anything back and told people that I told them to just keep it. Anyway it's been four years next month he's been gone and I've been living alone just getting by myself. I'm 65 and there's been no one in my life but our animals and it's like I'm wondering if it's not too late to try and start over. Some people have been telling me what I should and shouldn't do because they think they're better than me. Well somehow someway I'm going to get through this

  • "Failure is a bruise not a tattoo." A bruise can go away, but a tattoo never does. It's like the saying "Never fail, all is a challenge". This helps me to always stay consistent with my goals, despite making mistakes many times. But those wrong times are simply experience because I have never done it myself, it is normal to make mistakes. .It is important to know how to learn for the next time. When there is nothing left to do wrong, success will surely come. Wishing everyone who can see this video and this quote to get motivated towards the goal. My own goals. And good luck to me too. Love the creator of this video. Thanks.

I was a beast back in the day but i often find my self starting stopping my self improvement to help others and i lose sight of what i want and who i am, its sad but its the truth. I feel guilty for working on myself very often because i become cold to others. I been try to balance my life but i feel like it's not my time to be balanced its my time for me and i should not have to apologize for this. Thank you for this freedom.

  • I am only 36 and I agree with most of these laws except for 34: I've witnessed many people who slave away to become rich and they have no time for anything but work and they sacrifice friends and family and end up alone and depressed. 39 seems like something a mother would tell her child, patience is good but sometimes the things you want simply aren't meant for you. 53 is the same as 39 you can work really hard at anything and still fail, expecting to get luckier for working hard doesn't make logical sense to me. 65 is probably the best law on the list to me, learning to control anger made me much stronger, I know many elderly people who never learned this law.

  • If Nobody Helps You - Do It Alone. This is a great quote because what it all comes down to is, it's your life and the only one you can count on is all the parts of you. What do I mean by that? Well in Internal Family Systems Therapy you learn that you are never truly alone, for we are all made up of parts. So getting all your parts on board with what you are doing and engaging in conversations with them, helps you to develop friendships with your entire system, and that is an amazing thing.
