Swing by a window tint shop and see if they’ll give you a scrap of clear 3M Clear Bra. Even if they charged you for it, a remnant piece would be cheap. Cut it to size and stick it behind the knife block. You’ll never know it’s there and you’ll never scratch the stainless steel! Love the channel, thank you!!!

I have been following you for 7 years and have done many of the places you have gone and it has been AMAZING, but my wife is "over" camping and I think we are done, I tried traveled by myself, but it just isn't the same. Hope you BOTH realize that you are so lucky that you have each other.
About the paper towels, just squeeze the roll so that the center becomes oval before you travel and when you get to your destination squeeze it back to round again.

Y'all inspired my wife and I to buy an RV. We left the lot with a 38 foot travel trailer and 30 minutes later we side swiped an utility pole... thank GOD we only damaged the awning and the door, but it went straight to the shop. Word of advice to new RV owners, sh*t happens. Don't forget why you bought your RV and don't let craziness keep you from achieving your daydreams.

FYI: museum putty or (3m putty) I believe holds things in place. I check it once in a while. I Have used this for years. Holds decorative pieces in place traveling down the road. 😊 Also I use a spongy shelf liner it's a criss-cross pattern ( you cut to size) on the counter under the coffee pot. It stays in place traveling. 😮😊

Just what I needed, when I needed it. Returned last night from the first shake down short trip of the season reminds me again so fast of all those little details and things that need a place. Dog stuff and shoes are my biggest problem - now I am inspired to readdress these homeless details.
Have you ever considered doing rv tours? With as many rigs as you've tried, I think it would be informative as you could offer what you look for storage/kitchen layout/ layout in general as well as what you might stay away from and why... I'd watch your tours. I'm sure others would as well.
This is the floor plan we plan to buy in 4-5 years and looking forward to the mods you are planning on completing!

First, you guys rock. My wife and I have been following KYD for several years now - before we bought our 19 foot Airstream Caravel and we continue to follow you all still. … Glad you’re enjoying that 30 foot Airstream. And though you’re no longer living in a small space, we appreciate the tips.
Love your organization tips! I'm short, too, and couldn't see the stuff in the kitchen overhead compartment. My husband built a little shelf to "dummy-up" the bottom of that cabinet. It now sits about 1" below the opening and it's so much easier to see and reach those things.
Great organization tips as usual. You've been in several different rigs now and each one, though different, is always organised so well. I've been wanting a NutriBullet to replace my "antique" Osterizer blender that has been making my drinks, etc. for 55 years now. It's time to retire that jewel for something a little more spry. Hi! I have loved watching your channel for several years! We just bought an Airstream and the closet kept opening during travel. We bought some magnetic cabinet door catches that work great in additions to the current latches!

Great tips. We try to consider if items have more than one purpose. A 5 gallon bucket can be very handy, but use it for storage too. On travel days, a small waste basket can hold the coffee pot; fill the sinks with items from the counters, lay items on the bed, etc. We have a nice night light, but for. travel days we unplug it so it does not fall onto the counter. Baskets are our friends. I also store clothing in the plastic bags from sheets (bedding sets) - keeps items contained and the bag was free! Command hooks even inside closets and the bathroom vanity. Also, soft sided small packs or even a kids lunchbox can work for storage (from my favorite dollar store!). Safe travels!

We bought the canvas shoe pockets after seeing them in one of your tours years ago! We have a 27ft Tommy Bahama Airstream and used clear metal hooks from Amazon (they work great on the aluminum) and hung them under the window. Fantastic hat holder btw!
Love your channel so much! We are moving into our full-time fifth wheel and our mantra is, "Don't stuff it, stow it!" Tucking and nesting and stacking is the goal.
We have an Airstream too. On that shelf in the bathroom, I roll up and store extra towels and washcloths. I love all your organization ideas, Trish. I'm stealing some of them for our rig. And I love our NutriBullet!

We live in a 1400 square foot house built in the 1920s. Not a lot of built in storage, but I'm always getting cleaver. Dollar Tree is another great place for cheap storage ideas. And Target in that cheap section in the front. I just found a desk top waste basket for $1, now I don't have to get up for every little piece of junk I generate at my desk. The lazy factor for the win.
My mom started using Viva when we moved to our RV in 74. Best paper towels ever.

Been watching you guys for many years. Always love your content. When we saw the mirror, I paused, ran into our bathroom and told my wife COME HERE! We can have a larger mirror! She had said YESTERDAY she wishes she had a larger mirror. DREAM COME TRUE moment! :) On your lazy wisdom for organizing, I prefer to call it energy efficient! I store my can goods in a basket on the floor under our table. I write what they are in marker on the lids. That way it makes it easier to find what I'm looking for. I also made baskets for the open shelf above our beds that taper down towards the wall. I used plastic canvas, I know, ugh, but I used earth tone variegated yarns and they look nice

We always packed our heavy things down low and light things up high. You don't want to open up a door and have something fly out and injure you, or have the door open from the items stored inside while going down the road.
