This was probably the coolest concert I have ever watched on KZhead. She rocked so hard. Her vocals are INCREDIBLE!!!
Pretty much the same set as Woodstock 99. But the wall of sound they are making here at Budokan is AMAZING.
i've seen "the junkie tour" in Montreux ( '99 ) & i was fantastic , good sound too as always at the lake Geneva ... !!!
She’s amazing
Oui, incroyable...❤❤❤
Watched this video in full today, trying to draw comparisons with her concert in Birmingham in June 2022. My conclusions? Alanis is still capable of a highly energetic concert performance, and has lost none of her unique and extraordinary vocal delivery. The youthful looks may have gone - happens to us all doesn't it ? - but the glances and smiles are still there, instantly reminding us of why we fans love her.
Watch her 2023 concert. Still movements and hand gestures. And her unique voice is so tenacious and unwavering. Love her and her music.
I think exactly the same. She's still being a gem 💎❤✨️
She's aged like a fine wine....
Aww i saw Alanis for the first time ever on this tour. Good ol’ days when the audience enjoyed a concert without watching and recording it through their phone.
What a beautiful soul she is, a fantastic performance with her fantastic band. ❤
Une artiste comme on en voit plus, elle est magique!!❤❤❤
Watched her live at MOA Arena, August 1, 2023 as part of her JLP world tour. I was so mindblown🤯🤯 the years that have passed where just years because her talent, her voice her energy is the same if not from the best she became the BEST!!! Hope, She'll have another concert soon. JLP done, next SFIJ concert next❤
🎉 Legendary🎉
Saw this tour in March of '99 at KC/Kemper Arena. Both Alanis and Garbage were amazing. Alanis was so into it that she went to the floor on at least two occasions. She left it all out there.
I rather not sit through garbage, no offense. I’m all about alanis my grunge Goddess unmatchable
@@michaeldeluca423 No problems, I respect your opinion.
She’s amazing
@@michaeldeluca423 I saw garbage open twice for Alanis. They’re amazing live and Shirley Manson is an icon from the depths of hell…. U should try it
quero sair dos 10
So perfect! Thanks for uploading 🙌🏻
Junkie Tour is the best era which I missed the chance to see any of the live shows. Forever will be the ultimate regret in my life. 😭😭
This is my favorite alanis era
This is my favorite era, too. I saw the Junky tour twice and was completely shook both times. The 6 1/2 week tour with tori was amazing too... it was definitely an extension of the junky show.
❤
She is still active and can still hit those notes, she still has the stuff, go see her.
Mike I, So am I me to Mikey 🌺💚 Thank You Still lissening 2021🦋
can't stop listening...Alanis forever
¡Que voz tan hermosa! Jamás me canso de escucharla. Fan desde 1995. 🥰🥰
Cierto yo fan desde 1994
Cierto yo fan desde 1994
Epic show - fantastic musicians, penetrating songs, and Alanis' bleeding energetic sincerity in every word. I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner
ETERNAL INSPIRATION!!!! oh and the bass player is simply AWESOME!!!!!
What a goddess! She is just such an amazing musician and songwriter. The band is also top notch. Wow! Just WoW!
I saw this concert in NYC in pre-premiere show nov. 1998. one of the best concerts of my life (and been to many). thanks for posting

Gary Novak, Chris Chaney, Deron Johnson = still the best line-up !!!!!! Those guys are still rocking and playing some killing jazz, funk fusion (Gary Novak, Deron Johnson) .... still attending each of Gary Novak´s gig in Europe!!! thank you for adding .... those were the best days of Alanis music. ... a bit pity that are gone ....
noone can touch taylor hawkins on drums... just ask foo fighters lol
@@dagobaker they´re all are close friends !!!
Gary was a really great drummer! I would have liked to hear him play. Taylor was fantastic. It’s amazing how many musicians she’s played with. Nick is my favorite guitarist alongside Joel!
I wish Taylor Hawkins is still with us I want him to be the touring drummer for allanis
Ilove you somuch miss ❤
Brings tears to my eyes. Magnificent voice and lyrics.
Her vocals are phenomenal here! I’m really impressed with the production of the recording. Thank you for sharing. I would have loved to seen the SFIJ tour! It’s anniversary time. I hope she tours this album! Not the Doctor! 🎉I love the tempo change! What are you hungry forrrrr
I would die if she toured this album. She won't tho 😭 did u see jlp 25th anniversary tour?? It was amazing
@@eleanor4759 I would die too. I wasn’t able to see that tour but saw her in 96. I did catch her twice for the JLP Anniversary. We saw her in Concord CA and she’s amazing. I was so happy I could share the experience with my spouse. Every time I go, I tell people I told you so. She’s an amazing singer and performer. The lighting for her spinning was awesome! The notes 😘 We saw her in Mountain View for the last show. Lucky enough to catch her too for the Oakland Charity event she did in March. That’s the closest I’ll ever get to her vocals in a small venue. We were in the balcony but her vocals omg!!! Small space and her vocals, gave me goosebumps!
Masterpiece please do not remove thanks for posting
❤Beautiful Lady,beautiful voice!
Wow! Thanks! I never tire of her! She is a tough and powerful presence. I cold listen to her logical music all day long.🙂🙃😎✌
As I'm doing homework right now. It helps me focus for some reason, while satisfying my subconscious thoughts.
I saw her my first time for Junkie Tour in 1999 in Caracas, Venezuela, it was a magical experience, my favorite Alanis' era
Recuerdo que Claroscuro fueron teloneros, excelente en el poliedro!
Era? It was her second fucking album, Axel. And she's written better ones since. Schmuck.
I saw this concert in 1999 / Montevideo, Uruguay. First concert of my life and it was EPIC!
She was incredible
I would have cried the whole show if I were there.
fantastic concert ! so intense and powerful.. this were the 90s at their very best ! thanks for uploading !!
Beautiful old soul
THANK YOU! :)
She just exudes confidence and such raw energy. Awesome 👍 👍👍
no person should live without this
Pure unadulterated and unvarnished talent with a voice for the ages.
OMG she is my grunge Goddess, I love her so much , went to New Jersey show at pnc center bought high end seats , bad crowd rude young yuppies , I’m 63 and the young punks annoyed me enough to leave half way , I want another shot at it without the idiots, they took my dream from me . Thank you alanis you are part of my life , maybe another junkie tour ?
What we’re they doing that bothered you so much to make you leave? We’re you in the mosh pit or we’re you sitting?
I hear u...I'm 59 and there's very few people that I'll go see in concert any more...the younger...concert going crowd are mostly a bunch of snotty ass little douchebags...I will still go see Alice Cooper...because 90% of the audience is my age or older lol
Increíble concierto, ciertamente una de las mejores épocas de Alanis
Ohhhh I Love this Song So Much Thank You Alanis. 💞💞💞💖✌🌹
Thanks for sharing! I've always loved her art. Such divine lady!
1:07:27 OMG what an awesome piano interlude, just fascinating
wow. I am in awe.
The pianist is flattered by your fascination with him
Very Nice 👌🏻 one of the best concert seen so far
Alanis il love you❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing this. My favorite album / era is SFIJ, so this was just amazing to watch.
Cheers :)
Alanis, You are simply the best!♥️
La mejor artista, cantante de Canada. Unica.
Alanis sempre Alanis 😍😍❤
Peak Alanis Morrisette.
Man, her music just flows. I love the band in this era. I wish I were there, but I was young in the Philippines at the time. When I moved to the US in 2001, I fell in love with her music more and later was able to go to her concerts. I saw her in 2022 with Garbage. It was amazing.
Cheers . :) I love A.M. Band ! :) ;)
The 5 1/2 Weeks Tour with Alanis and Tori Amos was a life-changing, shamanistic, religious experience for me, and (for once) I'd had nothing more than a joint before the show. Felt like I was on molly and shrooms the entire time. The staff were having to round people up to leave because we were all just standing there wondering what tf just happened. Tori and Alanis had their way with us.
Sympathetic Character 🖤
here again watching this incredible concert ..
Alanis ❣
Just in case you thought Canada didn't rock big time, beautiful and shoo creative , this comes only from the soul in any anyone, Alanis is flat out no doubt amazing. ENJOY
Very good show, i love the intro for uninvited ❤️♥️
She was one of the most innovative female musicians of the 90s. Such an authentic music! And those amazing lyrics. AM paved the way for so many other independent female musicians. #BillyNomates is just one example.
Thank You So Much Alanis bigg biggg hugsss Your Wunderfull ♥️♥️♥️♥️💋💋💋💋
The Junkie Tour will be my forever favorite
Eins der besten Konzerte. Ich höre es heute immer noch in Dauerschleife. War ihre beste Zeit in meinen Augen, bzw. spricht es mich am meisten an.
Just freakin incredible!! This is definitely going in my forever and ever Save and my must listen to at least weekly! Rock on sister! 🎸🎤🥁🤙❣️☮️
A wonderful voice that overrides the strong music accompanying, though so cool too, great musicians.
♥️♥️♥️♥️minha heroína na adolescência
she conveys happiness every time she opens her mouth to sing.
Love this!
Thanks for uploading this ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
jees why do i have tears when I hear this song...
Thank you so much for this. It's an amazing concert of an iconic tour of an iconic Alanis album. Her best era. I always return to these songs and her performances on this tour.
Era? WTF are you smoking? It was her second album, for God's sake. And not her best.
@@rtcastleberry OMG After 2 years, I'm reading this right now. I really hope that, after all this time, you have been able to find peace and happiness.
WOW! I'm loving this! Thanks for sharing this!
I really really enjoyed this concert tonight I have never heard of this artist before but I just really enjoyed it because she just seems so innocent free-hearted she was like an angel and I just I just really enjoyed it I really don't know what type of music they would consider that to be but if there were a concert I definitely would go so I'm just glad that I was introduced to her and I'd like to find out more information about her great show
Ela está em um outro nível da música. She is on another level of music.
great music. thanks for uploading
A force of nature...still
Signori chapeaux , una full immersion nella musica , nei suoni , arcaici, noti nel DNA. Keep on smiling
Such a young Alanis there! I always loved her!!::))
Wow that guitar 🎸 intro is amazing.
She's an angel😍😍❤❤❤
She’s easily one of the best people/things Canada ever made. Right up there with Ryan Reynolds, Celine Dion, and maple syrup.
Wish I could go back to this.. one of the best times of my life.
Show perfect!!!👌💚💛
And Youuuu😍
Best of the best
I really like all her songs
What an extraordinary talent she is. Real music with real talent. Amazing show.
I’m I the only one that noticed she got mixed up a bit on Not The Dr? Fixed it quick, sang it how ever she wanted from there and it’s probably the best version ever. Her vocals / lyrics are ah-mazing!
Me thinks that life was better back then. I can't help but think it was better because the music was better and social media wasn't around. People were not so easily offended. Maybe it's just me getting older.
maravilhosa Alanis
My jagged lil pill!
I already see that show in Montréal, Québec.... WOW she's so amazing.
What a band!
Excelente !! Sublime !!
fantastica ...
Musical, merveilleux, merveilleuse Alanis, merveilleux musiciens... Un bonheur très fort ..
She is d best canadian i ever loved and admire. Enormous talent indeed!👏👏👏
Increible. Que buena es en vivo. Una de mis preferidas. ❤
Not the doctor in ‘99 tour... EPIC
That extended Uninvited piano solo tho!
I love Alanis!
An absolute icon.
Expect to begin your personal transcendence, or rapture beginning noon today… I know you have waited long enough and put your heart and soul out there for me… your work is done. Thank you my Angel!
This was the second to last alanis album I played over and over again I wore this album out when I was dealing with a bad break up at 16/17
