Reports are emerging from Gaza that hundreds of bodies have been found buried in a series of mass graves in Khan Younis.
More than 60 bodies were discovered today at newly located mass graves inside the courtyard of the city’s Nasser hospital.
Palestinian civil defence crews have said they have recovered 210 bodies, some of them women and children, inside the hospital complex since last Friday.

I wonder what the comments would say if the position had been reversed with Palestinians brutally oppressing the Israelis for several decades, stealing Israeli land and restricting Israeli calorific intake, imprisoning 6000 Israelis without charge for years on end and then Israelis had risen up on Oct 7th out of desperation for their forgotten plight. The contrast between living conditions is very stark and painful to see. The people of Gaza live in dirt and rubble, surrounded by bodies. The Israelis live in nice, clean high-rises. It makes me think of that episode of Star Trek the Original Series where one group was living in a city in the clouds and and the other group had to work down in the mines and not see the light of day, choking in the dust. It makes it hard for me to feel sorry for the Israelis, even the families of hostages. For one thing, I haven't seen any of them express any sadness for the tens of thousands who are still being killed right next door.

Gaza was not dirt and rubble before the war. It was a place like everywhere else, with some very rich people, some average income people and some poor people. For example, check Motor One, a luxury car dealership or ETA water company, who is, among other things, supplier of water for and maintenance of swimming pools. Villages massacred, refugee camps in Lebanon massacred, tens of thousands of villages and towns razed and their populations driven out to build illegal settlements with military support. Pogroms and murders in the West Bank, crops destroyed, stock driven off then confiscated by the occupying forces and the owners fined impossible amounts beause they were grazing on Israeli land (illegal settlements). The victims are then jailed for being unable to pay the fines. Homes and businesses boarded up because their Palestinian owners' street has been declared a "No Palestinians" zone without warning. Small children running a gauntlet of abusive settler mobs every day on their way to school, often being pelted with rubbish or stones. If a settler accuses a child of throwing a stone, they face 20 years in jail. The mobs are not even admonished by watching soldiers. Thugs newly arrived from the US violently throwing elderly people out of the home they were born in because they want to move in, and mocking their distress - again, as soldirs look on, just in case an old lady slaps the poor settler. Families living in homes with netting on their roof to catch the rocks and rubbish thrown by mobs and metal sheeting over their windows to keep out the Molotov cocktails and bricks thrown at them.

Now that the external review is complete, UNRWA needs to be fully funded- and re-funded for the time lost- and allowed to get back to providing humanitarian aid. One subject is more interesting than the other.
To be fair, the content in the 4 minutes is more powerful and hard hitting than the 7.5. Additionally, Israel is probably pressurising reporters to show the Israeli side of things or else threatening expulsion from the region.
