  • Hello, I will just try the method and ask a question, when I disable the Gos service in CMD it appeared as (Done) but when I saw "services in execution" on the cell phone, the Gos still appears running, I even decided to uninstall it and it continues in the same way , it does not disengage and is not deactivated, what can I do? :c

  • On a Reddit post someone mentioned to also disable game launcher with GOS, can you test and see if it’s worth it to disable game launcher? That app could throttle a bit too since it has setting for individual games like ‘focus on power saving’ and ‘focus on performance’, maybe by disabling that you’ll get a more steady 60fps?

  • Jeez, thank you so much, i thought that i couldn't do anything to help with s9+ exynos. But now im at 60 fps everytime, i even tried to add HDR and extreme with gfx tool, and the game still as smooth as it was 60 fps (i dont have fps meter)

  • Great job! Could you please try it with other demanding games? Like COD or fortnite, to see if there are also differences when disabling it. It could be nice to see how temp changes while having it abled or disabled. Thanks!

    • Yeah but I guess it still won't be Snapdragon 865 level. There is still hardware gap afterall. But any improvement is welcomed.

  • Tried it with Honkai Impact. Doesn't work for method 2. Instead made it worse the fps dropped to 12 fps

    • Na pior das hipóteses bastaria ativar novamente o serviço "gos" que é desabilitado. Mas acho que é exceção dar qualquer tipo de problema, galera tudo tá comentando que deu certo. Tô agora com o s20+ com esse procedimento, mas havia feito no s10+ e fiz também no Galaxy tab s6 lite

  • Tried and tested. This works. Dude you did what samsung couldn't do in years. Their software is shit. Thanks for making my phone feel like its 1000$. Although its an s10. Can confirm it works in an s10 One thing you can compare is use an app called cpu float. It shows gpu frequency. And it shows with gos disabled it can run at higher frequency wheres when gos enabled it runs at 156mhz locked. Which is the lowest point. Maximum is 702mhz.

  • I test disable GOS on DeadbyDaylight , It run solid 60fps than before 40-50 fps on S10 Exynos. Amazing!!!

  • I must say something, it's great that you found this bug! Really great! BUT, i tryed it on my S20 Ultra and there was no diference... at same time, i noticed that the performance was greater than before with both (Activated or disactivated game optimizing service) , then i realized that TODAY was an update for this service, wich may be the reason.. Can you update yours and try it again? You have the 3.1.00.3 version, and today's version is 3.1.20

    • Interestingly, this video is done on latest 3.1.20, I checked again in the video it showed 3.1.00.3 that's because pdp does not refresh the software info if you don't restart it. But trust me, I did this video after the update, and I can confirm the update did not change anything.

  • You should use "Game Plugins" from galaxy store and "perfz" plugin in it. It monitors fps, cpu,gpu usage and temperature. Keep in mind though, first install perfz and then install gamebooster. If you do the other way, perfz doesnt work. Also tell us difference in heat with GOS on/off after 1 hr of gameplay. Thanks.

  • Guys i installed ccswe u can download it on playstore and the license too and u can use the app once if u watch a add so i did it watched an add and turned off gaming optimizer then went to settings and saw Disabled them 59-60 fps all time full quality

    • No matter how many hz u set . Pubg will only run 60fps only. If you set 120 it will battery drain

    • Yes exynos and snap in samsung are the same,but the perform is bit better in snap,i've tried with my A70,my A70 is snap 675 and it works!!!
