@@robbierootbeer8056 That’s because Dante is always taking hits (in every game), but in game we have an actual health bar. Perhaps one day we’ll get a weapon that encourages occasional hits from the enemy in order to charge.

I honestly hated playing DMC3 Vergil. It felt so janky. DMC4 Vergil was intensely different, though, even though it was super easy to beat since you could Judgement Cut repeatedly. This looks so damn cool in this game, though. I haven't played this Vergil, but I think I want to.

I don’t remember how many times you have to taunt in order for Dante to respond. But I do know that depending on what taunt you use, the response will be different. I think style ranking also plays into that.

Been practicing Kenjustu (bit different) for way less years, and i on the other hand find everything he does absurdly unnecessary, unpractical or outright useless... Also, it's the coolest shit I've ever seen in my life. 1:51 Except this combo, that's cool and absolutely effective in real life. Maybe less overswing and a bit more speed, but i figue Vergil is already faster than light or something like that

Wdym? This is pretty weak gameplay though. If he played yanato only, he could at least use another combo or consequetive jc. If he not yamato only, he could use at least 1 other combo that's fits in. He parried 3 attacks, which was the same one from dante and same one from vergil. Also time, that triple S was on screen is quite a little, he can't get more points cuz of that. Also he wasted a lot of SDT bar in some moments

Dante vs Vergil 3, i decided to go without health stars or gold orbs because i'm in love with the story and i want the brothers to fight with no "cheats". @@robbierootbeer8056 That’s because Dante is always taking hits (in every game), but in game we have an actual health bar. Perhaps one day we’ll get a weapon that encourages occasional hits from the enemy in order to charge.
@@Yulises I mean, I'd say even no hit fights still don't look as cool as the cutscenes, but it's not like I'm complaining. It's not really a thing you can do in a game easily.
DMC is just another game to prove that if the devs give the player the tools, the player can make the best results. "Cinematic" games be damned

Vergil always was funny to play in DMC3 and DMC4 but in DMC5 is so insane, he's totally broken even using only Yamato. He deserves his own game
And maybe modified SDT to have moveset that resembles some of him as urizen but in it's own unique way

I honestly hated playing DMC3 Vergil. It felt so janky. DMC4 Vergil was intensely different, though, even though it was super easy to beat since you could Judgement Cut repeatedly. This looks so damn cool in this game, though. I haven't played this Vergil, but I think I want to.

I don’t remember how many times you have to taunt in order for Dante to respond. But I do know that depending on what taunt you use, the response will be different. I think style ranking also plays into that.

Also, it's the coolest shit I've ever seen in my life. 1:51 Except this combo, that's cool and absolutely effective in real life. Maybe less overswing and a bit more speed, but i figue Vergil is already faster than light or something like that

Wdym? This is pretty weak gameplay though. If he played yanato only, he could at least use another combo or consequetive jc. If he not yamato only, he could use at least 1 other combo that's fits in. He parried 3 attacks, which was the same one from dante and same one from vergil. Also time, that triple S was on screen is quite a little, he can't get more points cuz of that. Also he wasted a lot of SDT bar in some moments
