The same thing that is now happening to Ukrainian "fire brigades" like the 47th & 67th mechanized brigades is exactly what happened to Gross Deutschland, 21st Panzer, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th SS during WWII. This is what happens when you continuously use a few elite units to repeatedly put out the fires that break out all over the front and Russia knows how to wear them down to their breaking point. They eventually reach their breaking point and no one else is behind them to stop the enemy because they lack the experience and equipment to do so. Wehrmacht tactics are not going to yield any other results than the same ones they did in late 44-45. The US and NATO are learning this lesson the hard way with their "fortress cities" and "fire brigades" straight out of Guderians playbook.

"fortess cities" were actually the idea of the "Corporal from Austria" with the funny little moustache. Also Guderian was essentially powerless after 1943. The Austrian Corporal and his yes men were the ones that kept Divisions moving back and forwards on the Eastern front trying to fight fires. Much like the current leader of ukraine... Guderian was a tactical genius, the Austrian Corporal not so much.

He was recorded at Trent Park conspiring to hide the mistakes and embarrassment of the Heer with Halder and others while in British captivity. The plan was to blame Hitler and protect the image and reputation of the army at all costs. It is all on audio recordings and Halder, von Schweppenburg, and others like Guderian helped write the history of the war from the German perspective at the behest of the US military in order to frame the myth of the clean Wehrmacht for cold war West Germany and the Bundeswehr. I wouldn't put any faith in him. His professional reputation was shot when Von Kluge brought aerial reconnaissance photos to Hitler showing conclusively that Guderian was already actively withdrawing from ground he was told to hold prior to the collapse in 1941. A move that had disasterous consequences and got him removed from his post. He has also been shown to be one of the worst fabricators of myths by modern historians who have shown him making absurd claims about meetings with Hitler he never even attended down to other pitiful claims that don't hold water about his role in the armoured forces.

Funny, the country that always claim that france run from battles , is the country that saved the army when they where running like pigs for a gun. Yup its the brits, run from the french - german border to diepe in 3 days, leaving the north flank open. So france was screwed but they still saved the 300k british troops who were waiting at the beach. They fought well and lots of those guys died. Ow the brits 😅😅😅 in arnhem were stopped by a German tank driving school, some sailors, cooks , and lufwaffe units. 😅😅 Later they (again) got their asses saved by polish troops. To me, Krynky sounds like a desperate attempt to lure Russia's attention and start shifting their forces. The only problem is that Russia has so many forces in reserves now that it is not a problem for them to provide reinforcements without affecting the rest of the frontline.

Russia just doesn't have Ukraine outgunned and out manned Russia is not out fighting Ukraine. The proof is on the ground. While I think russia should launch kharkiv offensive I don't expect them to launch it because without offensive they are gaining territory everyday and when current us aid ends and us sees Ukraine is still losing and not done anything they will not approve another aid package and then russia will launch offensive along multiple fronts to wrap the war

Back in 2022 when mobilization in Russia started Zelenski made a vidio address to Russians urging them to flee, surrender or fight for their freedom aginst the state. It's weird how the same vid can be returned to Ukraine now. History does like the dark irony.
