King Charles has been preparing for this role with the guidance of the beloved Queen Elizabeth II for decades. He deserve a chance to prove he can be a great king. It is heartwarming to see that the British public is accepting him into this new role. It must be hard for him to have put duty before his own grief for the loss of his father and mother. I hope the public will remember that this man is in mourning and will do the Queen proud❣ Especially with Prince William's support and the guidance of all who served her majesty.

His speach yesterday was extraordinary and it' s absolutely moving and outstanding, that the King, the Queen Comfort and the other members of the Royal family go to talk to the people and shake hands. I really think Charles was underrated many years and we know see, that he will be a wise and great king for Great Britain.

A LITTLE TOO MUCH....
I remember when my father passed away, I was forced to "perform" for a week until all the formalities were over. All I wanted to do was go to bed, pull the blanket over my head and mourn his loss. The outpouring of love and support for the Royal Family is beautiful but I can't help but think maybe they need some quiet time as a family. Hopefully they manage to do something privately once all the public ceremonies are over.

This is what monarchy does. They are trained for it and they get on with it.
Until the procedures are changed, this is the procedure and what must be done regardless of the insensitivity of it. Rules do change as time goes on though. Many rules and protocols have changed as time has gone on with The Monarchy.
I'm glad to see the British citizens are showing Charles and Camilla the love and support they deserve. I think Charles will make a wonderful King. After all he was trained by the best, Queen Elizabeth.
